Thankyou to NetGalley, Pen and Sword and the author, Nigel Blundell, for giving me the opportunity to read an advanced readers copy of Serial Killers: The World's Most Evil in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion.
I thought this book was very informative. Each case was well presented. It amazes me that there are people in the world who just do not value human life.
Worth a read for fans of the genre.
It's a so-so compilation of several of the most well known, vicious psychopaths who decided to become killers. We've seen all this before. I give it a zero for originality. I give it three stars for being readable, few typos, few "left hangings". It's by nature, since all the stories are short, very superficial. That's not good but neither are 900 page books that belabor the point. It's an okay book.
I like true crime books some of these people when you read about them make your blood boil. How does someone's mind get so twisted
