An amazing book on the history of war and conflict in and involving the United States. I didn't realize that our country had been at war virtually ever since becoming a sovereign nation 250 years ago. This book explains the history of each and every major war and conflict, including the American Revolution, the Civil War, WW1 and 2, the Vietnam war, the Korean war, and many others. If you're a history buff, you'll love this read, as it's filled with fascinating facts, but is also extremely readable, almost like a novel.
