This was a decent read. It was a quick to read. The characters were likable and the overall plot was good. I recommend.

Sorry this took so long to review!
I enjoyed this story, it was quite the ride. The story-line was well written, I loved the characters... but they were lacking the the beginning. BUT had hot chemistry
I do look forward to reading more in this series. Overall, the book was an enjoyable, quick read.
I enjoyed this book. The characters were well thought out, had a lot of chemistry with each other and were believable. The plot moved quickly and there was a lot of sizzling going on. I will read more books from this author in the future.
I received an ARC from the publisher and Netgalley for my honest opinion. I’m probably one of the few people who didn’t love this book. It took me a while to get into the story. I felt the two main characters had hot chemistry but didn’t have much else, until the later part of the book. There was a lot of BDSM sex discussion that was important but at the same time boring. Though interesting enough I didn’t feel like there were as many erotic scenes in the story. Maybe in the next book there will be more erotic scenes that was discussed in this book.
3 1/2 Stars
Tempt is an enjoyable short read and is the first in Marie Tuhart's Wicked Sanctuary series. I was expecting more sexy content but it is actually relatively tame given the focus of the book on a BDSM club and a Dom and a Sub. It probably could've been a much longer story though as I feel like their story didn't develop that much before it was over. I think it is a good intro into the BDSM world though as their was a lot of setup and talk about rules and limits.
I look forward to continuing their story in further books in the series.
Thanks to Netgalley.com and Backlit PR for this eARC copy.
Well written, interesting romantic story.
Entertaining from start to finish.
Beautiful cover.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC of this book. This is my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Love Love Love this book.

Could not put it down.
Need more now !
Definitely going to find more books by Maria Tuhart
ARC provided by NetGalley for an honest review.
This book was a little too far fetched for me. I'm generally pretty forgiving in this genre to suspend belief. It also sounds quite a bit like another story I read a few years back.
I really enjoyed Max and Sierra's relationship. The book was steady paced and secondary characters likable. This would have been a five star but at the end Max had someone from his past come back. It was short and really could have been not included. Sierra had 2 from her past come back at the same time and the most recent person from her past was ok and good for the story line. The other just seemed weird. I think just having Sierra's recent past come back could have worked with the story better. It all just seemed thrown in at the end. I would love to read the next books to see where everyone ends up
Tempt by Marie Tuhart a five-star read that will tempt you. This was my first ready by this author but it wont be the last, you can tell that lots of planning and plotting went into this one as the characters have amazing detail and depth and the BDSM storyline is so well done, not overly fantasised but real and shows you the true side. Sierra was really well done, you could be there with her pushing her along at places, and Max well I loved him from the beginning, but it was nicely done as you get to see how Sierra falls as well, overall a very well written story and an author I will be checking out more from.
I have read other similar stories to this but this one is by far the best. The characters are well written, well developed and you actually connect to them. I enjoyed the story and the spark created between Max and Sierra, it was believable. I enjoyed the way the surroundings and settings were described, you could really picture it when reading. I would recommend this book to others.
**Note to reader...BDSM content so, 18 and older readers only!
I would like to thank the author, the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this novel in return for an honest and unbiased review.
Marie Tuhart launches her Wicked Sanctuary erotic romance series with Tempt, a kink relationship-turned-to-love story. This red-hot read offers a captivating portrayal of the sex club scene and the BDSM lifestyle. However, the author is only vaguely successful in creating a genuine romance between the main characters. With a sex-to-love ratio of 3:1, I regard Tempt as a work of romantic erotica instead of as an erotic romance. But if you’re an EroRom reader who digs a barely-there courtship that is heavy on ‘nipplegasms’ (not that I’m necessarily complaining), then please read on.

I love that this book provided a more realistic view of BDSM relationships. The Dom did just automatically know the sub's limits and the sub didn't immediately submit to someone they just met. Max and Sierrra had actual conversations about limits and expectations. Sierra was a strong woman who wasn't afraid to call Max out when he crossed the line and he respected her enough to adjust his behavior. Their chemistry was amazing and I loved that they took time to build trust and didn't immediately hop in bed. There were some unanswered questions but I look forward to the rest of the series.
3.5 stars.
I liked the concept, and the smut gets full marks. The intro to the BDSM world was done well, it was made to feel sultry rather than scary. However the climax and ending felt rushed a bit, the ex-wife showed up for like 5 minutes and our female lead all of a sudden feels insecure. This is a girl whose happily dressed half-naked and performed at a sex club. Her change in attitude did not make sense to me. Overall a pleasant read.
The subject of this romance novel interested me at first. But, then I didn't like what happened during most of the novel. I liked the romance, but not the "play." There's also more violence than I liked. The best thing about the story was that the heroine learned that she was strong and could defend herself. She found her power. I received an advanced reader's copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
Couple of things that I loved about this book...1) the passion and character development. 2) the descriptions of the settings,
Sierra walks away from her idiot boyfriend when they go on a camping trip that turns out to be more than she bargained for. While walking away, she comes to Max's home and asks to use the phone so she call call a friend for a ride. But once Max see's the state she's in, his dominant personality takes over and he gets her warmed up and into some dry clothes while she waits for her friend to come pick her up.
Max is a Dom and runs a BDSM club and even though he hasn't been in a relationship in a while, he feels something for Sierra right from the start. So he gives her his card with his phone number and asks her to call him. But when she doesn't, he doesn't let that stop him.
When Sierra finds out that Max is a Dom and owns a club, she isn't sure what to think about him or his club but she takes a leap of faith and forges ahead. After she fills out the necessary forms and finds out what the club will be like, they go together so she can see for herself what a club like this is all about. They spend time together outside the club so they can get to know one another and I really think they were just made for each other.
Sierra has had some horrible things happen to her when she was younger and Max can see he needs to take his time with her so he doesn't scare her off. I loved how gentle, patient and caring he was with her. Max is one of my all time favorite characters that I've read in a long time. Sierra has bigger problems when her now ex, won't get a clue and leave her alone. The guy was so stalkerish it was cringe-worthy. I'm glad that Max was there to help her through that.
This was such a fun book. I look forward to reading more.
Disclosure: I was given an ARC of this book via NetGalley but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I LOVED THIS BOOK. THE PLOT, STORY-LINE, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ALL ARE PROPERLY JUSTIFIED.
I LIKED THE PART OF SIERRA BEING A BEDROOM SUBMISSIVE AND NOT FULLY SUBMISSIVE AS I DON'T THINK THE STORY-LINE WOULD HAVE BEEN THAT MUCH INTERESTING OTHERWISE.
AND WHAT I ALSO LIKED WAS THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF PEOPLE FIRSTLY ATTENDING THE CLASSES IN WICKED SANCTUARY RATHER THEN DIRECTLY BECOMING PART OF CLUB WITHOUT ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT PROPERLY.
ALSO THAT MAX FIRSTLY TRIED TO BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH SIERRA BEFORE TRYING TO EACH HER ALL THE WICKED STUFF.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE ENDING. IT WAS SUDDEN, THEIR WAS SUDDENLY I LOVE YOUs AND IT ENDED THAT'S WHY FOR ME IT WAS A 4.5 STAR BOOK RATHER THAN A 5 STAR.
I WILL RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO 18+ READERS ONLY AND THOSE WHO LIKE TO READ AN EROTIC, BDSM BOOK.
I received a complimentary copy of Tempt from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
I actually really liked this book. The characters were believable enough and I enjoyed following their storylines. Some of it was a bit predictable and mechanical however. (A backstory of childhood trauma seemed too planned, the appearance of an ex-lover seemed too precisely timed, and the collaboration of an enemy with a family member and the character's reaction to that situation just didn't seem plausible or realistic at all--I was waiting for that situation to be part of a dream sequence.) For this type of book, it was pretty vanilla, which was fine by me and I may have appreciated the novel well enough to be interested in a sequel.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!
I want to thank Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for my honest review.
I really enjoyed this book.
It wasn’t as amazing as I hoped it would be but it defiantly had some memorable moments.
The pacing at times was rather slow and it didn’t keep my attention all the time.
Loved the characters but I wish there was more backstory for them.
