What an enjoyable read! This is the first I’ve read by this author and I when I requested it, I didn’t realize it was the second in a series. With that being said, it can totally be read as a stand alone and I definitely recommend this be added to your summer TBR.
Thank you #netgalley and #bookouture for the eARC.
The second book in Jenny Hale's Firefly Beach series is a good one. Characters are realistic and likeable and The story kept me interested.
This was such a wonderful feel good kind of book. A perfect summer beach read with well-developed characters, and interesting plot, and a bit of drama sprinkles into the romance. I had a smile on my face most of the way through and it really made me want to hang out with this family and their friends. This is book two in the series, the first one being Summer at Firefly Beach, and it was just as good as the first one. I look forward to reading more from this author. I highly recommend it.
I would like to thank Jenny Hale, Bookouture and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book and exchange for a fair and honest review.
Sydney left Starlight Cottage and Firefly Beach when her adolescent crush broke her heart. Years later, she’s back for her sister’s wedding when she catches sight of Nate, now a famous song writer. He wants to win Sydney back, but things have changed, and now she’s a package deal, with a young son in tow. As always, Hale gifts he readers with a feel good tale guaranteed to make them forget the harsh realities of life in 2020
I really do not like single parent stories, but I picked this one up because I totally trust Jenny Hale! An excellent, romantic, and well-rounded read that is perfect for summer! 4.5 stars!
