This one didn’t capture my interest at all. I gave up around 10%. I didn’t even feel a desire to see how it ended. Darn!

It took me a few chapters to really get into this one, but I’m glad I stuck it out. Otherwise, I would’ve missed a good story with a few surprising twists to it. This was my first read by this author, but I liked how she managed to flip the whole “bad boy” idea on its head and provide some angst and drama without going OTT with unbelievable mess. And I REALLY liked how Becca and her brother set a lot straight about their family. After all that she’d perceived, it was refreshing to see that perception isn’t always reality when it comes to family and love.
