This was an okay read. It definitely wasn't my favorite book. I wasn't a huge fan of the main character Demetri.

This was a new author for me and I was hoping it was going to be good but it just didn't have quite what I need to be hooked. Characters were ok but not deeply formed and the story just didn't click for me.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

After the first chapter, which is setting up the basis for the story, this becomes a fast paced read. It is full of suspense, mystery and sexual angst galore.

Navy SEAL Demetri Lewis acts as Diana Addison, his best friend’s little sister, escort to a military ball after her break-up with her boyfriend. The two do have a great time but drank too much champagne. Four months later, Demetri comes back to Diana as she has a stalker (really it is someone threatening Demetri and trying to hurt him by killing those he cares about). Before going on the run, Diana tells him that she is pregnant with his child courtesy of that one night.

Demetri doesn't do relationships as we learn several times throughout the book. Diana before her ex-boyfriend spoiled her dreams, always wanted a happily ever after. This book goes into the thoughts and feelings both go through while on the run from the stalker, courtesy of the book's dual POV format.

If you love to read military romances with suspense thrown in, you may enjoy this one. It is a sexy read, the scenes are not overly graphic and are relatively brief, I can only recommend this to anyone over the age of 18.

The Seal’s Accidental Pregnancy by Katie Knight was an interesting romance read. We meet the main characters when Diana needs a date for an important event and her brother gets Demetri (who is in the military) to take her. Diana is feeling pretty down as she and her boyfriend have just broken up and she needs some “feel good” help. Enter love ‘em but don’t commit Demetri. The chemistry is intense and well, you know what happened. Sometime later Diana finds that she is pregnant and unable to get in touch with Demetri as he is on a mission. Suddenly Demetri shows up telling her she must go in hiding but doesn’t really tell her why to begin with and them, BOOM! Her house catches on fire from an explosion and they are on the run. Seems that the mission that Demetri was on went to hell in a handbasket and someone wants revenge. If you want to find out what happens, well, you will have to read this quick read. The only criticism I have is the ending seemed a little rushed and we did really get lots about the person hunting Diana and Demetri, but overall it was a good read.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book for an honest opinion.

It's an action packed story with a surprise baby, suspense and great twists and turns. I love the characters and the plot is so intriguing. What a delightful story. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and the sparks definitely fly between them. Excellent read. Well developed set of characters, with a fast-paced plot. The only flaw was the ending. After all the build-up, the ending of the story was an anticlimactic letdown. Don't try to apply logic like I did, just enjoy the book.

This was a good second chance romance. Although I felt the characters needed more depth. The story seemed to have a fast ending. I was hoping more conflict between the hero and his nemesis. The relationship between the hero and heroine seemed genuine, but I just needed more. It was a quick read. I received an advanced reader's copy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This was provided as an arc from Netgalley for my honest opinion. Excellent book. The romance between Demetri and Diana is amazing. This is a very well-written romantic suspense. Emotional trauma from his childhood has led Demetri to avoid romantic relationships. Dana’s pregnancy forces him to reevaluate this feelings. I love the twist that comes with the suspense and enjoyed the book.

Ok read. Not my favorite, too much angst and drama. Ended well, as do all these books, but wow, the never ending drama, in spite of a bad guy on the move.

I am a huge fan of military romances that have a Navy Seal as the lead male, so I was excited to read this novel. While I really enjoyed the interactions between the two main characters, the actual action of the story fell a little flat for me. The chemistry and conversations between the characters was both well-done and fun – I could see these two falling more and more for each to other.

However, the actual “danger” element of the story seemed so out of no where and then we were never given enough information to buy into the story. It could have been some random guy off the street as easily as this person we’ve never met with some grudge against Demetri. I was really hoped it was the ex-boyfriend because that would have been more interesting.

Overall, the story keep me entertained, I just wanted it to be more grounded and less “suspension of disbelief.” I think most readers of military romance would enjoy this book and I would give the author another read.

Although Leslie North and Katie Knight are my-happy-go-lucky-swoon-and-relax authors, the SEAL's accidental pregnancy was a little less relax than usual. In this story Demetri gets hunted by someone. And to hurt Demetri, the hunter sets out to hurt the people closest to Demetri. So, after Demetri's old SEAL team commander gets shot, he moves his aunt to a safe place.
But he also needs to keep his best friend's sister, Diana safe. He went out with her once, a few months ago, as a favor to his friend Peter. He didn't realize the attraction to her and also didn't plan the get-together-in-a-less-brotherly-way. So, now he learns he not only needs to keep Diana safe, but his unborn child as well...
Diana never planned on having Demetri in her life. After she found out she was pregnant, she didn't want to burden the socially closed off Demetri. But when he barges into her life and rescues her from an attempt on her life, she realizes she needs to let Demetri decide for himself if he wants to play a role in his future child's life. But, it is hard to look into the future, when your past is hunting you down. So, no time for relaxation.
Some abrupt changes in the story make the whole thing a little unbelievable at some points, but still a nice read for a rainy day. Three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

This book has a good mix of romance and suspense. Navy SEAL Demetri helps out his friend's sister and ends up on the run with her as someone threatens their lives. Diana's whole life is upended as she is in serious danger and her brother's friend is the only person who can protect her. Along the way, they discover a lot about each other and themselves as they navigate danger and a surprise pregnancy. The characters are well developed and the story gains momentum as more details of the pursuer emerge. I look forward to reading more from this author!

This book was okay. I didn't really feel like the hero was very nice to the heroine and he seemed kind of selfish under the guise of being selfless.

I thought this was pretty boring and nothing really mattered. Demetri and Diana are full of words but they didn't feel real, they were trying to get me to care about them like I would another human being but they were flat and so fake. The suspense wasn't there even for a second, it didn't grip me at all and I'm so sad.

The Seals Accidental Pregnancy by Katie Knight .

Diana is Demetri’s best friends sister and she’s just come out of an abusive relationship and as a favour Demetri takes her to a ball to help her save face. They have a great time together but due to his troubled past he doesn’t do relationships. A few months later he starts receiving death threats to himself and people close to him so he goes to protect Diana.

A good story and and easy to read with a plot of many twists. I like Katie Knight books having read a few of her previous books but this one I felt the ending was a bit disappointing after the plot climax it just fizzled to a finish much like when a child writes ‘The End’ after a story. A good story otherwise.

The SEAL's Accidental Pregnancy by Katie Knight is a fabulous story that shows a hardened Navy SEAL’s ability to show his feelings when it really matters. Demetri has a troubled past, but has grown into a proud and honourable man, with a lot of love to give. But first he must protect the woman who rocked his world one night, months before, and now carries his unexpected child. This was a very easy story to dive into and provided readers with danger, intrigue and some sizzling romance along the way. Another hit by Katie Knight and one that I can happily recommend.

After reading some serious books I wanted something lighthearted and easy to read, which this book was.
I find with this genre that story lines can be repeated and dull but this one kept me engaged and there were a couple of twists for good measure. One thing I felt it missed was her brothers reaction to the pregnancy!
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

I remember reading a bunch of romance novels about the navy SEALS, and when NetGalley gave me the opportunity to read this book, I was very much in love with this love story.

Again I’m such a sucker for romance novels, anyway, this story is about Diana and Demetri. Demetri is a navy Seal and his best friend has a very hot sister and her name is Diana. Diana has always had the hots for her older brothers best friend, but of course we all know the gist of it all, she is very young and we all know the friend will try their hardest not to get too close to the baby sister. But when he was called to help her out because she got ditched, I knew off of that that something was going to sizzle.

One think I LOVED about this book is the way how Demetri from the beginning shows interest, from the beginning he is giving us all of what he’s thinking, and I love that!!!! So anyway aside from that, he is a hard man to crack and all that is a result of a sad childhood, his story and Diana’s childhood story brought me to tears.

Given Diana’s situation, Demetri will do anything to protect her against others that want to hurt him. I also love the emphasis on the military family, I heard that the of bond between brothers is unbreakable, it was very sweet to read it here.

And of course that Happy ending!!!! Moved just as fast as the book did! I seriously couldn’t get enough I can’t wait to read more!!!

3.75/5 stars!

When the heroine needed a date for a ball after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, the hero stepped in. Months later, the hero returns to the heroine's life after threats to his loved ones became deadly. Well, the heroine has a surprise for him: she's pregnant with his child! Now the hero has to keep the heroine and his child safe, not knowing that they'll fall in love with each other during this dangerous time.

This was an enjoyable read. It wasn't too short that I felt it needed more transitions for my taste. It has a great couple, solid secondary characters, and a story that ends well. I look forward to reading more from this author.
