This is a quick and furious read. I have not read Donna Freitas' memoir, but I will now. I was expecting this to be a memoir but it really is an actual letter, based on her memoir. Many women, myself included, have dreamt of writing a letter as perfect as this to our own personal "#MeToo" professor/doctor/priest/other abusive person who shaped our young lives, so it was very cathartic to read. I can imagine it was also cathartic to write. Also, publishing a letter like this that most of us dare only write in our heads is a revolutionary act. I hope that the professor (and priest, for God's sake) to whom this is addressed DID Google her, and did read this in its entirety.

Thank you to Scribd for publishing this and to Scribd, Donna Freitas and NetGalley for providing me with a copy to read in exchange for my honest review.

A interesting and compelling read. A short read too. Very enjoyable and heart breaking at times too. Would highly recommend xx

I read Donna Frieta's 2019 standout book "Consent: A Memoir of Unwanted Attention," on which this is based. After learning about the professor that was central to her story in that aforementioned read, it was very powerful to read her personal letter to him, expressing her anger, fear, and disgust in his behavior. It's a great companion read that anyone who enjoys her work will find cathartic.

I found this book very moving. The way the book flows is very well done and definitely like a letter. I felt the anger towards the man that did this. I feel the empowerment from the author. I will definitely be reading the memoir. This is a powerful book.
