I enjoyed this very entertaining book - not surprising because I always enjoy this authors books. This one was just a treat, so delicious in its subject matter. I loved the back and forth between Cat and Neena, both so interesting in their own ways. And when I figured out the twist, oh I just felt so gleeful! Is it horrible that I enjoyed it so much? And what does that say about me? I don’t care, it was so much fun and exactly what I needed right now. A little bit of sneaky, evil goodness that took me away from the crazy world right now and I enjoyed every page.

I highly recommend this one to lovers of psychological suspense. This one was just so much fun and I loved it

Every Last Secret was unlike any of A. R. Torre's previous books but just as delicious. The novel is filled with back stabbing, lies, and jealously. While none of the characters are redeemable and the female characters were stereotypical in their "catty" ways, it was a fun summer novel.

I loved this quick, interesting read! The alternating POV approach works well here as it goes between rich housewife Cat and the new neighbor Neena who works for Cats' husband. The plot is super quick moving, but still allows time to invest in the characters. While I couldn't really "relate" to the socio economic status of the characters, I still found Cat somewhat relatable at times.
If you enjoy a fast paced thriller, this is a great read!

This fun romp was filled with unlikable characters and good storytelling. I have enjoyed every Alessandra Torre book I've read.
Although this still didn't surpass my favourite of hers (The Girl in 6e), this was still a solid addition to her body of work.
Please write more mystery/thrillers, I love them so!

First, a sincere thank you for sharing the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is one of those books with characters so off-putting that you can't help but marvel at their sheer audacity. It's simply beyond the scope. A psychological thrillers that's well written enough to be riveting and with characters you love to hate a la Gone Girl, then there's that ending...Dig it!

Every Last Secret is the first book I've read of A. R. Torre, and it will not be my last. All I can say is, "Wow." There are so many twists and turns in Every Last Secret. I loved all the characters and the setting. The story looks at the characters' flaws and the depths each may go to to keep their lives intact or what they may do to change their circumstances. The plot was quite intricate. The lies and secrets the author layered into the story created a page-turning thriller that had me not quite sure who was responsible for what.

Every Last Secret had a very satisfying ending. An overall well-done novel, and one I would recommend.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of Every Last Secret.

I'm a fan of the author's The Girl in 6E series so I was thrilled when my request was approved.

On the surface, the premise is nothing original; the marriage between a happily married woman (gorgeous, naturally) and her ambitious, handsome husband (obviously) is threatened by a scheming, conniving woman from the wrong side of the tracks.

Cat Winthorpe has it all; money, power, prestige, status, and a dashing husband she adores.

Neena Ryder wants what Cat has; her husband, security, stability, safety, and more.

When these two women are thrown into the ring, blood will be shed but only one will be the victor.

I couldn't stand Cat or Neena; they were unlikable, superficial and entitled women I wouldn't smile at, much less greet at a cocktail party. In many ways, the women were similar, both struggled from underprivileged childhoods to make a name for themselves, marry well and never worry about their future again.

But, I do admire Cat; her cunning, her sly, Machiavellian methods, her intelligence and street smarts. I was impressed by her devious ways, the lengths she would go to achieve her goals and I laughed aloud when all was revealed at the end.

Every Last Secret (not fond of the title) is not just about adultery; its about fighting for your marriage, your spouse, and your livelihood.

What separates Every Last Secret from the usual domestic thrillers is that Cat and William love each other, but William, like so many men (and women) make mistakes because we're human and we're weak.

Cat recognizes this flaw, accepts it, and uses it to her advantage. She loves William, that will never change, and her methods reveal she is willing to go to bat for him, their partnership and that she is no one to be trifled with.

Most of the narrative is predictable; how Neena seduces William, the ploys she uses, what she says, the way she dresses, but its Cat I enjoyed reading, Cat I clapped and praised when she did all she could to protect her family from Neena's not so wily clutches.

I'd recommend Every Last Secret to anyone interested in a domestic thriller where no one dies (I know, that's not fun) but loves the psychological manipulation and mind games.

I've read everything from Alessandra Torre/A.R. Torre, so I was thrilled when this one popped up on Netgalley. LOVED Every Last Secret! The plot is intense and I loved the characters! I finished it in two days. I truly wanted to do nothing but read this book.

Every Last Secret is a twisty, tantalizing tale about neighbors living decadent lives, one couple with self-made millions and plenty of minions to do their bidding, and the other couple with new money parlayed into neighborhood entree through a foreclosure purchase strategically managed.

William and Cat are uber-rich and about to get richer if the FDA approval their company seeks will just come through. William may be suave, successful and handsome but he's also a tyrant at the office. Cat began as William's intern and swiftly became his wife and queen of their enclave's social set while seeing a much different side of William as his life partner (complete with her 50% stake in the company).

The new neighbors are both self-made and meek (Matt), and blackmail-funded and desperate to achieve Cat's status in the community (Neena). When Neena joins William & Cat's firm as a corporate motivator and coach to calm the waters as FDA approval looms over the anxious staff, it doesn't take long for her to set her sights on upgrading from Matt to William in every facet of his life. If she could just make him see how much more desirable she is than Cat, , ,

Over the course of four months, alternating between Neena's interview with the local police and chapters of rich narrative, we go on a thrill ride of lavish spending, social climbing, snobbery, intrigue, jealousy, ambition, cuckolding, deep dark secrets, blackmail and attempted murder.

I will admit to (mostly) seeing the denouement coming, but I still enjoyed the ride. I am a huge fan of A.R. (Alessandra) Torre - she writes in several distinct voices and crosses genres including shocking fiction, strongly composed novels and delicious erotic diversions. This isn't my favorite of her books but I it will be an enjoyable re-read to see if I can catch onto more the second time around.

Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for the Advanced Release Copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I have to be honest, this is the first time that I have read anything by AR Torre and I really enjoyed her uninhibited writing style. This is not a book that you want to read in public because you will be yelling at the characters and making very interesting facial expressions throughout. I love stories that are told from multiple points of view but all of the narrators are so unreliable that it is entertaining and scary at the same time. You honestly don't know who to root for. The bottom line is that it is a good game of cat and mouse with a master manipulator who has finally met her match.

How am I going to review this? I don’t even know where to start. This book was everything!! I always enjoy A. Torre’s suspenseful books and this one just takes the cake. It was a delightful change in the theme of her books. I loved Cat throughout the whole book. She was badass and never backed down from the challenge that was Neena. She was smart and calculated. Call me a snob but I enjoyed every underhanded thing Cat did to Neena. We get one chapter from Williams pov and it single handedly sums up Cat and I love it!! I could not stand Neena from the moment she was introduced. I just had to keep reading because you feel like there is something there in her backstory that would make sense of her actions. The last 15% of the book I did start to feel bad for her because by then you know what’s being done. Also, I believe that she brought this all on herself. She never once thought that she would meet her match! I knew Cat had it in her but watching it play out I really had this devious smile on my face. In the end I do applaud Cat for what she did for Matt and Neena. It was frustrating too, to see William be so ignorant to Neena’s actions throughout the book but A. Torre played that well and clears it up in the end. You just have to read the book!! Matt was so endearing and I felt for him. Throughout the book I was just like bless it. Then there is this moment where he gets some balls, that was fun to see that play out. Five stars, this is one of my favorite reads of 2020!!

I love Torre’s writing style and have immensely enjoyed most of her books. I highly recommend Girl in 6E series. This was very different to those, but was super entertaining as well. I kept waiting to see what horrible thing the mostly unlike able characters would do next. Thanks for the advanced reading copy. Already can’t wait for this author’s next book release.

Oooooh I really liked this. I couldn’t decide which of the women I disliked more as I was reading! I thought the story was leading me one way but I was surprised by how it turned out.

This book wasn’t my favorite psychological thriller of late, but it was perfectly serviceable and did the job. The epitome of a three star thriller

Very satisfying novel about a master manipulator who finally met her match. Fun read.

Oh man, Alessandra Torre is so addicting. I swear, everything she writes is so clipped and crisp. Her characters are simultaneously vindictive and relatable. I love everything she writes. It’s like a not so guilty pleasure. I highly recommend this one.

"Blurred lines. Smear enough of them together, and you could change the color of everything."

One thing I’ve always appreciated about Alessandra Torre’s work, whether it’s one of her uninhibited romances or a twisty suspense penned in her alter ego, A.R. Torre, is the compelling nature of her words. There’s an unparalleled craftiness to her character creation and plotlines; the marrying of the two often commanding my undivided attention.

Every Last Secret provides unrestricted access to the minds of two conniving women—Cat and Neena—caught up in a toxic battle driven by jealousy. Through rivaling chapters, the frenemies vie for perfection and the opportunity to outdo one another.

Cat lives a picture-perfect life alongside her sexy, adoring, and uber-successful husband, William. Her days are spent lounging around their estate, gossiping with friends, and chairing an annual event. Yet, hiding beneath that perfectly polished exterior of hers lies a secret with the power to shake her confidence.

And then there’s Neena. A woman who desires what Cat has. More pointedly, William and everything he’s so willingly provided for his wife. In a calculated move, Neena accepts a corporate life coach position with William’s firm, and along with her husband, purchases the abandoned fixer-upper next door. Providing Neena with the excuse she needs to insert herself into their lives and marriage.

As we’ve all experienced in fiction and life, very seldom do people present their true selves or vulnerabilities to the world. And that, right there, is where the beauty of this novel lies. In the uncensored thoughts and insecurities splayed across the pages. Many of which contradict the outward actions of the devious women at the heart of the rivalry.

Rest assured, Every Last Secret is a compulsively readable novel. Yet, it doesn't take a ton of guesswork to predict where things are headed. Mostly due to the nature of the storyline. Although, that's not to say *every last secret* hidden within these pages reveals itself easily or that this twisted tale can't conclude on an unexpectedly soft note.

This was an incredible read and I couldn’t help but devour every page. It was a fantastic thriller that kept me on my toes the whole way through. The storyline was exceptional and I will definitely be recommending this one to everyone who will listen!

Wowww.... I love a good tale of a wife's revenge... I couldn't stand Neena, and because of that I found this book tedious at times. However, I am so glad I stuck it out. The payoff was worth it. I love a crazy, smart woman, even if her craziness is brought out only by a man. I just was riveted by this book, and stayed up late 3 nights in a row in order to read this novel. I just couldn't put it down! If you find yourself really feeling disgusted by the characters in this one, hang in there. They get their comeuppance, and in my opinion, this book had such a lovely, ends-tied ending. Definitely will recommend this one!
