Cat and William live the "perfect" life to anyone on the outside looking in. They live in a multimillion dollar home which overlooks the neighborhood of their gated community. William is a high powered businessman who is known for his cut throat attitude. Cat is the only person who has been able to bring out his softer side and they are madly in love. When William hires a new life coach, Neena, Cat begins to wonder if there might be a crack in their marriage. Then Neena and her husband buy the foreclosure next door and start randomly showing up at Cat's house and trying to weasel her way into outings with Cat and William. Cat starts to look into Neena's past and is shocked to discover that there are many secrets that are waiting to be uncovered. As William starts to pull away and spend more time with Neena, Cat realizes she has to save her marriage at whatever the cost.

This book was so good! It was easy to read and flowed really well. I wanted a book that would hold my interest and this definitely worked. I would recommend it and will read more from the author.

A few parts of the book I was still questioning at the end. *Stop reading for spoilers*
What happened to the screws on the railing? It was never determined how they were removed.
Why did Neena rush over and take the Limoncello out of Matt's hand if she wasn't the one who put something in it? Why would she care if he drank it? And why would she be expecting Cat to be slurring her words and unable to stay if she didn't put anything in the drink? Cat could drink a lot, Neena shouldn't have been waiting for her to be falling over.

I've been a fan of A.R. Torre since the Deanna Madden series. Every Last Secret is also a winner for me. This is a deliciously vicious story of a woman trying to steal away another woman's very rich, successful husband. While deemed by others as a "dark, twisty tale," I don't agree. The "twists"are quite obvious from the early set ups in the beginning. Though there was one little surprise in the end! Even though you could see it coming, it was still very satisfying in the reveal!

I highly recommend this book - it's a quick read and is a nice change from similar stories that end very differently! Definitely put this one on your list!

Thank you to the author, Thomas & Mercer and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book! This review was also published on Goodreads.

I would give this book 4 stars. Once I got about 25% into it I couldn't stop reading! However, I've read several stories like this before, like in the Last Mrs Parrish. I enjoyed the writing style and liked that the author went back and forth between the two main woman characters. I also enjoyed the ending and the twists in the last few chapters of the book. I appreciate receiving an Advanced copy of this book and will look at other books from this author, because I did enjoy her style of writing. This would be a perfect, fun, summer read, and I will recommend it to my friends & on my Goodreads account. Thank you!

ahhh! *Insert gif here with lots of clapping and screaming*

Brilliantly written and such raw character emotions. I felt like I was in this story watching it happen in realtime.
I loved the rich bitch character portrayal here too. There were so MANY awesome one-liners that had me laughing as well.
"Every wife in this neighborhood was the same. All spoiled girls who grew up with daddy's money, then married daddy's friends then popped our future heirs like a Pez dispenser stuck to open."

Dark, raw, twisty and twisted. Oh so many secrets. LOVED this book! 5 botoxed stars!

Thank you Netgalley, the author and the publisher for my free ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Mysterious couple moves in next door with a sinister agenda and an obsession with their uber wealthy and attractive neighbors? check. Same ominous neighbors befriend neighbors with whom they are obsessed and start to infiltrate their lives? check. Good looking husband who may or may not (but probably is) be cheating on his seemingly perfect, and oh so beautiful wife? check. Toxic relationships and friendships? check. Deceptions? Secrets? Cheating? Murder? check check check.

This book was just my cup of extra strong, extra creamy coffee.

Okay so really, despite the fact that this book is supposed to be a thriller, it was far from surprising or ground breaking, as its something thats been done many times, and in many different ways before, and is something that a majority of us have read at one point or another. But it was still a hell of a lot of fun to read!

This was like a darker version of Real Housewives in the form of a domestic thriller novel. I loved the dual POV, and the fact that the story was being narrated by two unreliable female narrators. It was so much fun sitting back and watching their cat and mouse game with each other, while at the same time trying to figure out who was the worst of the two and who I should be rooting for, as they both had their faults and were pretty terrible and unlikeable in their own ways.

Honestly, I don’t know what else to say in this review, as its best to go in not knowing too much, other than the fact that its a domestic thriller, so that you can best form your own opinion when it all unravels and then comes together in the end.

Overall, this was an immensely entertaining thriller that will keep you intrigued enough to want to keep turning the pages until you’ve reached the end. Definitely a book that’s packed with enough thrills, drama, and entertainment to be finished reading within a day, if not a couple of hours!

Definitely recommend if you love juicy thrillers and hate cheaters. (And I mean, who doesn’t??)

Not many books leave me speechless and fulfilled at the same time but Every Last Secret did. It’s conniving. It pisses you off but it’s like train wreck you can’t look away or in this case put your kindle down. When I say it pissed me off I was extremely upset.

I hate Neena. Hate. Her. I don’t think she has one redeemable quality. Zero. She has a great husband who worships her feet and she treats him like he is mud on her shoe. She’s as fake as they come and I was hoping she would die the whole time I was reading.

Now Cat. I love Cat. I tell ya something that woman is a smiling, snarky genius. Her and Matt are the only redeemable characters in this whole book. Cat was the reason I kept reading, well also to see if Neena was going to die. Lol

Every Last Secret is one hell of a ride. It pissed me off, made me laugh, and pissed me off even more. But the emotions it brought out of me were very real and I wouldn’t want it any other way. The ending was perfect and tidied up. There was no guessing or left up to your imagination with this book.

Alessandra covered it in a pretty red ribbon. Everything on the outside was beautiful but once you opened it up, she tore your heart out with her perfect smile. Never to be the same again.

This was quite the page turner! The fast paced plot moves along in a deliciously suspenseful way! I thought I had figured out a few aspects of the story but was wrong! I really enjoyed this book!

Cat and Neena are locked in a power play battle for dominance in A.R. Torre's Every Last Secret. From the outside, Cat has it all. Beautiful house, handsome rich husband, society darling in their close knit community. Neena sees what Cat has and she wants it. Wants it all.

Cat's husband William wants her to be nice and make friends with his new employee and neighbor Neena and her husband. Cat likes the husband, but she doesn't trust Neena. She tries to like her, tries to be nice, but she knows that she will have to stay one step ahead of Neena if she wants to keep everything beautiful that she has.

Every Last Secret was an edge of your seat thriller. The only problem - there was only one likable character in the entire book - Neena's husband Matt. Cat and her husband William are awful and Neena is horrible. There was no one to root for. And the more you read the worse people they became.

The book was great though. It kept my attention and I didn't want to put it down. Great read!

This was a super fun book with two absolutely terrible unreliable narrators. It was difficult to decide who to root for since they were both so awful, but I placed my loyalties with Cat. This is pretty much the perfect quarantine diversion. I usually like my domestic thrillers to be more murder and less sex and romance, but I really enjoyed the nasty fun of both of these narrators in their game of chess. The book is primarily suspense, but there's no real murder mystery or anything untll later in the book. (Also I suppose I can't say this book is particularly romantic.) I also really enjoyed the setting of Atherton which I know well as a Bay Area native, and this book nailed the locale. I really enjoyed the voices of the two main characters but this book is not too serious and I would definitely add this book to my "trashy fun" shelf.

The pace, narrators and plot were all fantastic. The one thing I did not like was the final epilogue. It did not feel consistent with the tone of the rest of the book and came out of nowhere. But since the rest of the book was so fun, I'm just going to pretend that epilogue never happened. Overall, this was an immensely entertaining thriller, a quick beach (or, currently, quarantine) read but well-written and funny and a good vicarious thrill ride, especially if you dislike cheaters (and who doesn't?).

Thanks to NetGalley, A.R. Torre and Thomas and Mercer for this fun advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

I couldn't put this one down. This was twisty and kept me guessing the entire time!!! I loved the storyline and the characters. Normally I don't like multiple POV but I loved it in this book. Will be looking for more from this author.

Thanks to Netgalley for my advanced ebook copy.

Cat is happily married to the man of her dreams, the wealthy William Winthrope. Neena Ryder just became William's new employee and next door neighbor. From the moment Cat met Neena she disliked her. She could tell Neena wanted her husband despite being married herself. They fake a friendship and take subtle jabs at each other. It's like a game of chess and there's only one winner. It kept me wanting more and anxious to see who would "win"!
I loved this book with the alternating POV's between Cat and Neena. The twists and turns were great and that little surprise at the end was awesome!

Every Last Secret by A. R. Torre is a fast easy read that would be a perfect beach read (or to read during a period of social distancing). I personally devoured it in one sitting. Our story is told from two different points of view -- Cat Winthorpe and Dr. Neena Ryder. Both of these ladies have climbed the social ladder from modest beginnings. Cat is married to an extremely wealthy (and handsome) man and now lives a life of luxury complete with a household staff. Neena works for Cat's husband and moves into the house next door to Cat. Neena is close to living the life that she has longed for her entire life, but Cat is actually living that life. Neena becomes obsessed with stealing Cat's husband and her decadent lifestyle. What lengths will Neena go to get the lifestyle she feels she deserves and what will Cat do to protect the lifestyle that she feels accustomed to?

I really enjoyed this book and found myself completely engrossed in these characters. I felt like Torre's writing really allowed me to get into the characters' heads and feel what they were feeling. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a fast paced psychological thriller and enjoys twists and turns.

This book was one of those I found to be absolutely unputdownable! Torres did an amazing job of developing characters, making a realistic and intriguing plot, in which I got many shocks, thrills, chills, and sometimes even a laugh! Definitely a thriller for those who like revenge on cheaters or even lots of money and jealousy type of books! I highly, highly recommend!

***Thanks to NetGalley for providing me a complimentary copy of EVERY LAST SECRET by A R Torre in exchange for my honest review.***

Ingredients:

2 Desperate Housewives
2 Hapless Husbands
0 Children exposed to their depravity (thankfully)

Add:

1 Opulent Mansion
1 Imperfect Mansion

Sprinkle with:

Frenemy syrup
Backstabbing
Cheating
Lies

Top with:

Delicious writing

Mix ingredients and you have a delightful story, a guilty pleasure. I felt like I shouldn’t root for either of these main characters or hope their lives turned out positive.

Alpha dog Cat wasn’t prepared for a Neena to enter her orb and Neena never imagined the breadth of Cat’s wrath. I was #TeamNeena .

I don’t want to say any more about the story for fear of spoiling anything. Mystery/Thriller and Women’s Fiction fans will enjoy this story if they like villainous main characters.

When I saw that Alessandra Torre had a new book I was so excited. I adored The Ghostwriter even if it tore my heart out. Well, Every Last Secret isn't The Ghostwriter but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Ghostwriter was an emotional gut-punch of a book where this is more of a trashy, Housewives from wherever type of deal.

This book is far from ground breaking as we have all read this story before. Two women fighting over a guy that is hardly worth it but there is something to be said of two unreliable and unlikable women going for each others jugular at every turn of the page. It's compelling as all get out. Just when you think they can stoop no lower then BOOM! Oh no she didn't becomes oh yes she did!

This book didn't hold many surprises for me but it was still plenty entertaining. Fun? Sure. Ridiculous? Yes. Am I glad I read it? Heck yeah, if only for the reason that I'm thankful to not know any people like this in my real life. Ha! 3.5 stars!

A twisty thriller, Every Last Secret was highly enjoyable to read. I read it in one sitting, as I did not want to put it down! I loved the twists and turns the book took and reading the two main characters' POV was great.

Let me just start by saying that there is not one character in this book that is a redeeming human being. With that being said, I devoured this book! Twenty four hours of which I couldn’t put it down. Will be looking up more reads from this author! This was a mix of some of the best! Big Little Lies meets the Last Mrs Parish with the psychological drama that flows throughout as an undercurrent! In all honesty, with characters this deplorable (but well written!), it doesn’t matter who you are rooting for you just can’t wait to turn the page. Thank you again for an advanced copy of this book. I will surely be recommending to my little book club!

I want to thank NetGalley, Thomas & Mercer, and author A.R. Torre for providing me with an ARC of this novel!

This gorgeous cover pulled me in, and I was not disappointed with the story that lay beneath. If you are a fan of psychological thrillers, this is a new one for you to pick up and read! You will not be able to put it down; it is non-stop twistiness that you will love. I also loved the differing points of view, I really thought this brought great angles to the story line. I was kept guessing until the very end and did not expect the conclusion at all. Cat and Neena were a great pair to read about; they sucked me in and knocked me on my butt. Grab this in October, you won’t regret it!

Thank you again to those named above for the opportunity to read and review this novel!
