4.5 stars. This book was unexpected (in a good way) and something I’ve never read before!
The beginning was a little slow, but more and more things kept happening and I was wondering what would happen next and what was true or false.
At some points I hated some characters and then it would change. I really enjoyed this book!!

This book was just what I needed! A twisty, thriller in dual perspective. It was truly unputdownable which is telling in current times. Looking forward to sharing this title with our subscribers.

How far will a woman go that lusts after another's husband? How far will the wife go to keep him? This story was fast paced, smooth flowing and highly unpredictable. Twists, turns and omg's galore it will keep you guessing till the end and saying "....but....but...why....how?" An incredible read and HIGHLY recommended.

I knew as soon as I started reading this book it would make me angry and it did. It made me so very angry and all the reasons are spoilers. There was nothing likeable or endearing about the characters although I will admit to rooting for one of the main characters over the other but feeling soon changed. This book was rage inducing. I usually this author’s work but this book just did not work for me.

"Broken women cannot be held accountable for their actions."

Boy, was a nervous going into this read so I purposely waited to read this after reading a low drama storyline in order to calm my racing mine. I'm not a big fan of cheating in a storyline, but I do love domestic suspense and once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. As a long time reader of A.R/Alessandra Torre, I knew I'd get a great storyline and characters that I might or might not love. There would be a strong protagonist, and likely an even stronger antagonist. And I was right.

When you pit one aspiring socialite (Neena Ryder) against a woman ( cat Winthorpe) who already had the role covered, there's going to be tension. I really enjoyed the overall plot line and I really loved hating on Neena, our antagonist, who can be described as a women with little regard to decency. She is rightly called "crazy" by all the other characters, Cat's husband William, and Neena's own husband, Matt. Neena is calculating and conniving, and holds some very big secrets. But Cat has her number and is able to root out the truth. And Cat, our protagonist, had a bit of crazy in her too.

I might be one of the rare readers who actually liked and rooted for her. And does she deliver with a great reveal. I wasn't a big fan of William and hoped he'd fall, but then Cat might not get what she wants. Hands down, I loved how Cat took care of business. Every Last Secret is bound to be a late 2020 domestic suspense hit and I would love to see it optioned for a TV series. It's a read that will make your blood boil and make you cheer on the outcome. 5 Stars and recommendation.

Who knew that a book about the ultimate betrayal would be one of my favorite stories to end 2020!
Compelling, sexy and thrilling, this book is for all of us who have been betrayed by those we love!
Full of juicy twists, from page one I was captivated by this story.
Intense and twisted, this story was sinfully delicious as neighbors in a ritzy neighborhood go through their social calendars.
This author wove an intricate web with 2 couples who are the epitome of opposites. Except they have one thing in common.

You figure it out!

What made this story so fascinating for me, was how terrible these characters were! The four main characters, 2 married couples, the Ryders and the Winthropes are the perfect anti heros. Rich, selfish, jealous and full of secrets.
Particularly the wives. Rich, entitled and full of themselves, do not be fooled by their outward “perfectly flawless” appearances.
Especially trophy wife Cat Winthrope. She mastered the old adage “don’t get mad get even.”
Another winning story by an author whose creative arsenal never ceases to amaze me!
Well written, with well developed characters, this page turner had me losing sleep as the story methodically evolved and developed. Secrets, lies and betrayal are just some of the things these neighbors exercise without batting an eye.
Early on I figured out who was doing what, but I was fascinated as to how the plot evolved. Each of the characters brought something different and unique to the table to create an intricate twisted web.
This story articulated the good the bad and the ugly in love and how to protect what’s yours!
How you do it, well... that’s the magic of this read!

Every Last Secret is a great thriller about a love triangle gone wrong.

Cat Winthorpe has what seems to be the perfect life. She’s rich with an attractive, successful husband, William. Neena is a life coach that starts working for William’s company and moves next door to the Winthorpe’s. Neena wants more money, a more charming life and higher class. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Matthew. Both women cam e from nothing and married for a better life. Neena will do anything for a better life and Cat will do anything to keep her life. What will Neena do to steal Will? What will Cat do to keep William?

Every Last Secret starts with a police investigation with a detective asking Neena questions. The story then goes back four months to when Neena and Cat first meet to explain what started it all and go through what happened. I enjoy when thrillers are in this format. The reader knows a little about what to expect but there are still so many unanswered questions.

The story is told alternating between Cat and Neena’s perspectives. All of the characters have secrets. I am usually not a fan of love triangle and cheating books, but I really enjoyed Every Last Secret. Since this is a thriller and not a romance, I wasn’t upset about cheating. There is so much suspense in Every Last Secret. I was very invested in Cat and Neena’s stories from the beginning and couldn’t put this book down.

I love A.R. Torre’s writing. A.R. Torre writes romance novels as Alessandra Torre. Her thrillers and romance novels are both great and very well written. Her stories are unique.

I recommend Every Last Secret to fans of character focused thrillers and fans of The Ghostwriter by Alessandra Torre.

This book was kind of like a season of real housewives gone crazy.
Neena Ryder is hired as a life coach at the corporate firm of William Winthrope. Life hasn't been easy for her, she's worked hard to try and get to the top.
She's married to Matt, a boring guy, but he really loves her.
William has been married to Cat for thirteen years. They live an affluent lifestyle and seem very much in love. They have tried without success to start a family.
When Neena and Matt move in to an abandoned fixer upper next door, Neena begins to covet Cat's life.
She becomes obsessed with seducing William. She will do whatever it takes to try and steal him away from Cat.
This psychological thriller was certainly over the top! But it was a fast, fun and entertaining read.
The characters, for the most part, were truly unlikable and extremely unsympathetic which kept me from rating this one higher.
Thank you Thomas & Mercer for the e-ARC via NetGalley.
3.5 stars, rounded down to 3 stars.

Every Last Secret was enjoyable, unputdownable and a little crazy. This book was a bit consuming, a lot conniving and cunning with characters I don’t think I was ever supposed to like. However, I definitely appreciated the characters, their development, the evil sides and morally grey-ness. There were a few good types thrown in just to balance it out though.

The story focused on an uber-rich community and a interloping couple Neena and Matt. Cat and William were too good to be true and boy did that play out in a spectacular way. William in particular was an aloof character, not particularly nice and Cat was a crafted and perfected individual; lots of facets for the reader to get their teeth into.

"The real William Winthrope was an asshole, and I was fascinated by him."

While I was there for every twist and turn, I did know where it was going broadly and who the perpetrator was. I really enjoyed the dynamics between Cat and Neena, Cat and William, Matt and everyone. The blurring of lines between these couples was gripping and kept me hooked.

"She smiled, and I smiled, and the morning chill didn’t have anything on us."

There was something about the end portion of the book that begged for a little more depth in my opinion although I did love the final pages. This was such a clever story and A.R. Torre always gets me with her thrillers/suspense. I think this genre is where she is most talented.

Every Last Secret really gave me Big Little Lies-vibes so if you’re a fan of that book, definitely try this one.

Thank you to Thomas & Mercer for the early review copy.

When Neena Ryder moves into the neighborhood, she sets her sights on the husband - and the life - of the girl next door who seems to have it all. Neena is an ambitious social climber intent on seducing her boss and next-door neighbor. Cat is not amused and underneath her elegant exterior has claws of her own.

Every Last Secret struggled to capture my attention through the first half of the novel and I almost gave it up multiple times. Pushing through, I was finally rewarded when the action picked up in the last third of the book, though not enough to make up for the dull buildup. Plus, I guessed the ending right away which is never a good sign for a suspense novel. Torre hints at complex moral issues in the epilogue and I wished those had been further explored.

This is your typical domestic thriller. Two unlikeable, filthy rich main characters - Cat and Neena - fighting for the affection of Cat's husband. If you liked the book "The Real Mrs. Parrish," I think you'll like this one too! Game changer? No. Entertaining? Yes.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an opportunity to read Every Last Secret

What can I say except that this book just didn’t work for me.

I feel like the story of the wife and the coworker fighting over the same guy has been done so often ... it’s also fairly slow moving for my tastes.

I’ve seen lots of great reviews for this so give it a try and see if this for you

“Welcome to the neighborhood. Watch your husband, watch your friends, and watch your back.” With a tagline like that 👈🏻 I knew this was a must read for me. Lately I’ve been drawn to domestic suspense when I’m in the mood for a thriller, especially the ones that deal with wicked wives and this one had TWO wives behaving suspiciously. Neena recently moved to a new affluent town where she’s landed a job working for William. Cat is Williams’s wife and she’s the queen bee in town. The two women are neighbors and Neena wants nothing more than to befriend Cat, even if she has to fake it. Maybe she even wants William too?

That’s basically all I want to say about the plot because this is such a wildly fun story of obsession, manipulation and cattiness that it’s best to let it unfold for you on it’s own. I seriously couldn’t put this one down and despite mostly guessing where it was all heading, I still couldn’t stop reading. It must’ve been the authors slick writing style that pulled me in, enough so that I’ll be devouring her backlist ASAP! Definitely recommended by me, a perfect weekend binge read.

YOOOOO this book was WILD.

i read it in a whopping 3.5 hours & i haven’t stopped thinking about it. the most twisted, surprising, totally not what i was expecting book.

some parts felt slow, but the ending. THE ENDING. Cat was one of my favorite characters i’ve read all year & the whole time i had no idea who to trust - & i think that’s what made it so unputdownable.

This is a MUST READ. i promise. thank me later!

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

When Cat first meets Neena, her immediate reaction is one of dislike. She’s right. Her new next-door neighbor in their exclusive suburb, Neena or Dr. Ryder as she prefers to be called, is the new “life coach” at Cat’s husband William’s successful business. Neena envies everything that Cat possesses - her flawless beauty, her confidence, her wealth, her friends and her husband. With all the assurance of someone who’s done this before, Neena plots to seduce William and take him away from Cat. But Cat is not the pushover that Neena expects. While pretending to be friends, both women plan a future that can belong to only one.

Every Last Secret is a tightly crafted thriller about obsession and greed. Cat and Neena, in alternating voices, have very different views of the events that lead to a devastating conclusion. It’s an impossible book to put down. 5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley, Thomas & Mercer and A.R. Torre for this ARC.

Whoa, this was a trip! There were so many twists and turns here. The secrets and lies were insane. I can’t say the characters were particularly likable but I don’t see how they could be either with the storyline. The ending was crazy! I’ve read Torre’s romance novels, but not her suspense/thrillers. After reading this, I know she can literally write anything, draw you in and keep your interest throughout. This was very well done and I would recommend it!

Talk about a cat fight! Neena has just been arrested for attempted murder- but of who? In this fast paced thriller that moves back in time, you'll get the point of view of both Cat and Neena. They both want William, who happens to be, ahem, Cat's husband. He's rich, he's got a great company, and Cat has been the queen of the roost. Neena, however, wants in; she's gotten herself hired at the company and she persuaded her poor husband Matt to buy the run down house next door. You know this isn't going to be good but things get really crazy as these two compete for William. It's outrageous and unrealistic in spots but it's also got some scenes that might make you laugh (not the author's intent, I'm sure). Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. I gotta admit that this is one that kept me turning the pages even as I realized I really didn't like either woman.

Lies, drama, secrets, and everything else you can think of all add to the mystery that is Every Last Secret.

A page turner for sure, this story will have you on the edge of your seat. I was addicted. I love the flow of a Torre read. Quick chapters kept my focus on the story and alternating points of view painted the full picture of this crazy ride. Twists and turns galore. Sexy or suspenseful I know a Torre read will be a win!

The Winthorpe’s have it all.  A gorgeous home, a wonderful marriage, wealth and social standing.  When William Winthorpe hires Neena to work for his company and she and her husband move right next door, Cat warns William that he needs to be careful around  Neena.  Neena quickly becomes obsessed with the Winthorpe’s life style and ultimately wants to take Cat’s place and become the next Mrs. Winthorpe.  A literal game of cat and mouse ensues and one woman will lose everything, but who will be the last woman standing?

4.5 stars rounded up to a 5.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer seems to apply here. Meet Cat (naturally beautiful, mega rich, married to hunky businessman William) and Neena (wanna be, master manipulator, beautiful and sexy/bought and paid for, married to sweet, devoted Matt). The book opens with Neena being interrogated for attempted murder, you get a sense of her personality from the first pages. Cat’s personality develops at a slower pace. The book is told from both point of views, going back and forth, with an occasional interrogation thrown in until they all tie together in the end. Cat is everything and has everything that Neena wants and deserves as Neena will stop at nothing to get it! But, one will find out to never underestimate anyone and the other will find out to trust no one.

I really enjoyed everything about this book; the slow burn, character development, the writing and the way the author showed enough of her hand to allow the reader to guess but still had enough twists to make it fun. This books is a perfect gift for a book-loving friend to find under their tree!

Thanks to A.R. Torre, Thomas & Mercer and NetGalley for this ARC. Opinion is mine alone.
