Fabulous collection of upcoming romance novels. So many books I want to read from this and introduced me to a few new authors.
I'm super excited about some of the upcoming romance novels featured in the Buzz Books. There are at least 7 books that have been added to my To Be Read pile!
This was my first time downloading one of these, and I’m glad I did. I ended up requesting a few galleys I might not have otherwise. Thanks!
I sure appreciate Buzz Books - really enjoy getting to know about new authors and reading excerpts of up and coming publications. Thank you!
I love Buzz Books publication. I was thrilled to see there was a new one out. I promptly downloaded it so I can look and see what the future has in store for us!!
Thank you!
Buzz Books are a fantastic way to get a preview of books you may be interested in - even if you don't initially think you will be! Each of the 14 previews gives you enough of the story so you can get a feel for the plot and the author's writing style, and there's even a convenient link to use if you'd like to request the book. I'm looking forward to reading several of the books included in this edition of Buzz Books, especially because I found a couple new-to-me authors!
I'm still pretty new to netgalley, but I keep seeing this as a book to request and finally decided why not?? Which was a brilliant idea! This book gives a great look into what's to come in the book world and has added more titles to my TBR. This is so great. Thank you!
I always love this buzz books, because I find great books this way. Even if I don’t get the books I requested I still get to learn books to read when they do come out.
These are such a useful took when deciding what new books I want to pick up. I love how through the list is put together. Thank you for putting the collection together.
Whoever is designing covers of romance novels recently deserves a raise. I have always hated stereotypical romance covers - they almost feel shameful. This preview is FULL of fun flirty covers that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be seen reading in public.
There were a few standout previews for me this time around, first, Roan Parrish and Brenda Jackson both have new books coming out, so, those are instant buys.
Susan Anderson’s The Ballad of Hattie Taylor has a dreamy cover and I love a good historical romance PARTICULARLY one with cowboys. Yum.
The Roommate by Rosie Danan and Meet you in the Middle by Devon Daniels seem to be proximity romances, with extremely different premises. One a workplace romance and one - well, a roommate situation. Both previews drew me in immediately, and I expect them to be very funny.
Honestly, this time around, all of the previews seem to be books that I will be eager to get my hands on at the first opportunity. Can’t wait!
As always, Buzz Books provides a great opportunity to explore anticipated titles. This latest romance round offers substantial samples of some of 2020's most compelling offerings. I've added a couple of these titles to my list (Marina Adair's RomEantically Challenged, Rosie Danan's The Roommate), and I got a solid enough taste of a few others (namely Devon Daniels's Meet You in the Middle) to know I want to avoid them. Thanks, Publishers Lunch!
thank you Net Galley for this book -- I enjoyed reading the first of a few new books that are coming out in 2020. I added several to by TBR pile. I am looking forward to reading the entire books
I definitely will be putting these on my TBR! A few don’t interest me as much but all sound very good.
I really didn't find many great titles in this list books. This was my first time browsing from the book lists but i don't think that i am going to request any of these titles!
Thank you Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for the digital copy of Buzz Books 2020: Romance! This year's edition put quite a few upcoming books on my radar.
Many thanks to all the publishers that submitted excerpts for this year's edition!
I always enjoy seeing previews of coming attractions, though I do have to wonder why a certain political book is getting so much buzz.
I appreciate the advanced preview! It's always nice to get a chance to see the first pages of a book to get a clue as to both the plot and the writing style.
I read this ARC for an honest review
All thoughts and opinions are mine
I love these Buzz Books and really enjoy going through them
They list what's up and coming in the publishing world and whet's the appetite in letting you read excerpts and chapters so when the book comes up for advanced reading I usually can't wait to get stuck in
Would thoroughly recommend
I so enjoyed reading the Romance edition of Buzz Books last year that I marked its release date in my 2020 calendar so I wouldn’t miss it. Unfortunately, when I finally downloaded my coveted galley, I didn’t recognize any of the 14 authors listed in the table of contents. Even more unfortunate was that I couldn’t see myself enjoying any of the excerpts as full length novels. And I really didn’t understand why three of the excerpts were politically oriented - one with legislative aides, one with a Senator, and one with a Senatorial candidate. Both “Meet Me in the Middle” and “The Roommate” have been hyped in targeted emails from NetGalley, so it was nice to have the opportunity to read the excerpts before deciding that neither novel was for me. Hopefully, next year’s edition will have more to my liking.
I am a huge sucker for a good romance novel and look forward to reading many of these on the list. Buzz books are always so much fun to read and get an idea of what is out there.
