Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this ARC!!

Hilarious and relatable comics about one young woman's life, relationships, and day-to-day humorous musings on why it's good to leave the house sometimes—and when it's better to stay home.

OMG this was book was so damn good !! I could connect with this book right from the first page and the illustrations were so cute. Highly recommended for a fun lighthearted read.

This was the cutest thing ever! It was such a quick little read but it made me laugh out loud. It was relatable...maybe a little too much, but honestly so funny. The art was adorable and so well done. I love that it took you through literal seasons and also seasons of life and just every day things that girls deal with in a super comical way. It's nice to have a little chuckle over the things we might think of as annoying in our lives.

I simply love Cassandra Calin! This book is the breath of fresh air we need in these days of Corona style staying at home. This talented young artist did it again, she pictured funny and not so funny situations that many of us will find relatable.

One thing I always stop to admire and appreciate beside the humour of the comics, is the style: it’s versatile and consistent at the same time, and the way the different emotions and expressions are portrayed is priceless.

If you need a laugh, if you want to feel and know that you are not alone – this is the book for you.

A cute series of comic strips about the struggles and quirkiness of being an introvert, a girl and overall somebody who prefers to stay at home over going out and socialising. I follow Cassandra Calin’s comics online and generally think she makes light-hearted, funny and relatable comics. The book is not as laugh-out-loud funny as I expected, but still quite cute, relatable, beautifully illustrated and definitely worth it if you are a fan of her work. I especially enjoy her “expectations vs. reality” comic strips. I’ll definitely check out her first book as well.

I loved the introduction - humour is first world problems.

I really did enjoy the self-depreciating humour in this webcomic turned book. The illustrations were fun and the situations were extremely relatable (dresses with pockets!)!

A cute book that would be a fun gift.

If I didn't know any better, and if I had curly dark hair, I would have sworn Cassandra Calin was illustrating my life. Super relatable, both in terms of our current shelter in place situation and life before COVID, these humorous and adorably drawn comics about everyday moments in the author/illustrator's life run the gamut from the problems with bras, to women's fashion, general melancholy, how hard mornings are, and the comfort of a good blanket.

I have been a fan of Cassandra's work on Facebook for a long time! These comics are relatable, funny, and cute. A lot of (expectation vs reality) comics, and fear of dealing with people and many comics about the struggles of dealing with people and the world in general. I loved it.

I thank Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the digital ARC.

I Left the House Today is a hilarious collection of the most relatable short comics I've ever seen. I was cackling the entire time!

I love Cassandra's art style, and her unapologetic peek inside of the world of women. Everything from periods and leg hair, to body image and the expectations we feel toward are appearance are touched upon. Halfway through, I was already preordering the paperback. I can't wait to check out more of her work.

I absolutely LOVE this book! It's so relatable and funny. The art is gorgeous. I'd love to buy prints from the artist or tear some pages out of the physical book and frame them because they're just that good.

"I Left the House Today!" is a fun, hilarious, quick read that's the perfect pick-me-up for tough days.

I have loved Cassandra Calin's comics for many years now, having seen them online many times so I was so excited when I realized this book was her creation. The illustrations depict regular day-to-day activities and incredibly relatable to the average person. I loved this entire collection, as it had me laughing constantly.

This comic collection was so damn cute and so damn relatable. It's mostly four panelled self-contained comics per page detailing little snapshots into the author's life, and I am sure the lives of many other women. I especially liked the comic featuring the chin hair, hard relate hahaha. The art style is awesome and so expressive, I loved it so much.

Would recommend to anyone who wants a quick cute read, this would make an excellent comic book to re-read when you're feeling down and need a smile.

I absolutely loved this book. Surely, now with the covid-19 virus going on, a lot of these comics were so relatable. The drawing style was so perfect and detailed.

I had not yet read Ms. Calin's webcomic or earlier book, so I just picked this up based on the title. There are days when leaving the house is an accomplishment for many of us anxious-types. I was delighted to laugh along in sympathy with a number of the comics in this collection. Most of her struggles are universal to anyone and many perfectly express the beauty frustrations of women. Her drawing style is charming, with black ink lines reminiscent of the 1930's. Recommended for fans of comics or women's stories.

I'd like to thank the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this comic through netgalley.

This was my first time reading a comic and I loved every bit of it! I think that this was exactly what I needed right now considering how uncertain the situation out there is.

The comic features a collection of situations which are pretty much universal. The illustrations are so relatable yet creative and capture the essence of every day life perfectly! I liked how Cassandra Calin didn't hesitate to throw some shade here and there. And last but not the least, the comic gave me quite some laughs and I totally recommend it to anyone who's in search of something light hearted!

I've read a few graphic novels in a similar genre over the last couple of years, so I was a bit concerned that Calin's take on adulting and other challenges might feel repetitive. But, I was pleasantly surprised. The art style is playful and quite striking. The self-deprecating humour of the author also made this collection of comics stand out from the rest. While there is undoubtedly some repetition (everyone has a tendency to love staying home and streaming TV, etc.), Calin still offers a fresh perspective on womanhood that makes you feel a lot better about having days when you're just an anxious ball of nerves.

I LOVED THIS HAHAHAHAHAHA
Thanks to the publisher for giving me a free copy of this one!

This is by far one of mynew favourites! It was funny, I laughed out loud at times and it was the most relatable thing I've ever read in life haha.
The art was also super good! Like I LOVE IT! It's super pretty and really has its sparks.
The scenarios were so hilarious that I was laughing so often about certain pages. You know when you make a good comic when most of the pages don't even have words on it but you can just relate to it so much.

I'll definitely be following this author and her works because I ended this one and was like "Noooooo! I need mooooore."

Absolutely amazing!
