I have looked forward to reading this book and i wasn't disappointed as DC Maggie Jamieson and Nathen race to a crime scene where the victims description fits Dr Kate Moloney.Maggie is praying it's not Kate but as she hasn't been able to contact Kate. This new case proves to be close to home and every one is tense and on edge this book had me on the edge of my seat and i am so happy i got culprit right.I won't say any more as i hate spoilers Noelle Holten has nailed it again BRILLIANT.5*
Thanks to Harper Collins and Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book. I did not enjoy it as much as the first in the series. I did not warm to Maggie and she did not seem very competent as a detective . She let her private, unrequited feelings for Kate to cloud her judgement and her behaviour was bizarre. I found the writing to be a little chaotic and the plot wasn’t sharp. I didn’t feel there was any great rapport or close friendship between Maggie and Kate. The plot went along at a cracking pace and I would like to read the next one to see how this writer develops.
Dead Perfect tense chilling characters become alive.A book that kept me reading late into the night.Second in the series already looking forward to the next one.Ann author I will be following.#netgalley#harpercollinsuk
DC Maggie Jamieson is frantic when approaching a crime scene. As she tries to get a hold of herself, Maggie tries to prepare for the fact that the body might be someone she really cares about, her close friend Dr. Kate Moloney. Is the body Kate's? What of the stalker Kate has had for awhile now? Maggie thinks that the stalker has finally made his mark.
Instead, as the body is turned over from her back, Maggie is more than relieved but a bit confused when she discovers that the body is not Kate's. Why does she resemble her? When Maggie does reach Kate, she tries not to scare her, but tells her that the stalker is almost definitely a murder. It certainly cannot be coincidence that the staged body resembles Kate.
Living dolls. That is how the police - and the killer - are referring to the victims. And, yes, I say victims in plural because more dead bodies abound, and Maggie does her darnedest to stop the killer and to keep Kate safe. Meanwhile, Maggie must contend for her growing feeling for Kate.
Well! 5 Stars go to this fantastic book by Noelle Holten!! Just read it in one sitting. The tension level is incredibly high as Maggie and her team race against time to find the killer. Meanwhile, Maggie has some issues she is facing, and that does well to help to understand her as a character. Since I read the first two books in the series, and will be reading all future books, I love being able to feel for a character.
A note to readers of this book and series. While this book could be read as a standalone novel, it begins exactly where the previous book, Dead Wrong, left off, which continued where the first book in the series, Dead Inside, left off. Thus, this book, Dead Perfect, leaving readers with a hanging scene, will no doubt leave readers for the fourth book in the series. Well done!
Many thanks to Harper Impulse and Killer Reads and to NetGalley for this ARC to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

I guarantee you won't see it coming. A must read.
A murdered woman is found on a local park with her face down and her identify is destroyed due to her disfigured face.
DC Maggie Jamieson is called on the crime scene which makes her blood turned to ice because that woman's resembles to her best friend and colleague Dr. Kate Moloney.
Kate is not picking her phone which makes Maggie more tensed until forensic team tells her that that woman was not Kate.
And then a second body is found.
A living doll killer is on the loose.
Will Maggie Jamieson stop him or will it become too late?
Kate's life is on stake and Maggie is determined to catch the killer.
I loved the characters of Maggie and Kate and the antagonist. Other supporting characters were good.
Narration of the story is good. I personally felt that the ending was a little bit streched.
Thanks to NetGalley and One More Chapter for giving me an advance copy.
Loved this follow on about Maggie and Kate. Brilliant book continues where the one before ended. Thakn you Netgalley for my chance to read this cant wait for the next one
An easy and engaging read but not groundbreaking in its design.
Whilst I really enjoyed this book I struggled to believe that Maggie and Kate were as close as they were portrayed. Apart from being work colleagues they rarely felt as ease with one another and didn’t have that ‘bond’ that women develop. It felt a little rigid and more balanced towards Maggie’s ‘extra’ feelings than a meeting of like minds.
The plot is fast paced and engaging to read but if you’re hoping for gritty police procedural than this just misses that mark. I felt like Maggie was floundering throughout, unable to focus on the job because she knew the ‘victim’. If she were my best friend I wouldn’t have much confidence in her to find my stalker! Everything about her process was Abir back to front and nothing felt properly followed through.
All that aside, it’s a great holiday style book for those who like a whodunnit without the gore/forensic detail/police procedure.
Thanks to NetGalley for my advance copy. My review is my own opinion.
My thoughts about this brilliantly written third in the DC Maggie Jamison series Dead Perfect oh my God what can I say this took my breath away DC Maggie Jamison trying to protect her friend Dr Kate Moloney from a deadliest serial killer was brilliant talented author noelle holten writes one of the best serial killer novels that is not just brilliant but a mindblowing thriller every book is getting better I'm now a hugh fan of noelle holten writing style a brilliantly well written serial killer third part is truly a chill ride that surely packs a punch highly recommended I would like to say thank you to the publishers and the author and netgalley to give me an opportunity to read this brilliant explosive thriller can not wait for book 4 💥💥💥💥💥
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
DC Maggie Jameson is called to the body of a female who resembles her friend Kate.
This book picks up right from the last page of the previous one and it packs a punch. The characters are brilliant and come to life fantastically. Maggie is a tortured soul but not a whiny female. I love Noelle’s writing and can’t wait for the next instalment. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.
This is a story of mystery and intrigue. I guess who the murderer might be often—always incorrectly. This is unusual for me but the author wrote in so many suspicious characters. A truly character driven novel about murder and mayhem, stalking, and friendship. One has to read to the end to solve the puzzle. Mystery readers may like this one.
OMFG what a book! First of all I have to say a massive thank you to Noelle for giving me my reading MOJO back. This is the first book that I have read in two months that I have read in two sittings. I would've stayed up all night reading it if I wasn't so tired that's for sure.
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to read Dead Perfect it Jumped straight to the top of my reading pile because I was so desperate to find out what happens next with the cliffhanger we were left with in Dead Wrong. I sure as hell wasn't disappointed. What a freaking awesome start to the story has it carries on right from where it left us hanging.
When a book gives me an OMG in the first few pages I know it's a winner. Noelle throws the reader right into the action from the beginning and it didn't end there it just got better and better. I was totally hooked, I simply couldn't put it down…...SO SO SO addicted.
The characterisation is bloody brilliant. I could feel the emotion of the characters, especially Maggie. We get to see her kind and caring side. She is fab.
This story will have you on tender hooks with plenty of creepy OMG moments. the twists and turns are brilliant. And once again we are left hanging! Crikey what are you doing to me Noelle.
Dead Perfect is without a doubt the best one in the series. I could give it 10 stars I would. I bloody loved it.
Wow oh wow! I have no idea how any review I write will do this book justice. Noelle Holten is absolutely amazing, these books pull me right in and make it completely impossible to put down.
This has been no different. I was so excited for this one after the previous book ended on a cliffhanger. As I write this, I'm devastated I have to wait for the next book.
I love the characters in these books, they are the perfect mix. Throw in a serial killer and my attention is completely hooked. Noelle creates the best serial killers, original and believable.
Reading this, I have found that I've had the Living Doll song stuck in my head- thanks Noelle! But the concept has been something I can easily imagine watching on TV.
The twists in this book have been enough to keep me guessing. This book is one I've devoured in one sitting. I definitely highly recommend, this is without a doubt worthy of all the stars.
