Cute illustrations! It was humorous as an adult to read about bedtime from a bed's perspective. This book is a story about a child who isn't a fan of bedtime, but the bed decides to let the child know what it thinks of bedtime. Bed does not like the stinky shoes under the bed, or the kicking/jumping that happens on the bed, etc. But in the end, they realize their special relationship.
My 4 year old enjoyed it too. As a former elementary teacher I could see this book being a fun book to read and then doing an activity where the students imagine and write out what their bed might say to them, based on what they do on their beds.
I wouldn't read this as a parenting tool, as it feels like it is insulting the child bit... but as a funny story, it is great.
This book was cute and really funny! This imagines that “Bed” also has feelings and does not appreciate some of the jumping and kicking that kids impart on her!:-p My kids thought this was funny also!
