So I can tell that this series is going to be quite different. Morgan believes that he's not worthy of Elizabeth's love. His actions prove over and over again that he is a good man. Is being a good man good enough?
I couldn't wait to read this book from one of my favourite Historical Romance authors and I really enjoyed it. 😍
It's beautifully written, with a lovely slow burn romance between the H/h, who have secrets to hide from each other. I really liked both Morgan and Elizabeth and their personalities were really well layered and thought out. The historical details are excellent and some of the characters from Jess Michael's 1797 Club series appear as relatives and friends. This book can be read as a stand alone and is set in 1815 England. There's lots of drama, a steamy romance and a swoon worthy hero. 4.5 stars.
My thanks go to NetGalley and the publisher for gifting me the eARC in return for my honest opinion.
