This was an interesting read I found a little hard to follow at times. I also liked the settings but found the characters somewhat boring.
i really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great and I really enjoyed the plot and the going through reading this.
I could not get into this book. I kept getting distracted by other books. I could not get connected with the characters for some reason.
Thrillers involving archaeological artefacts are always enticing and I thought that this would be another. How wrong I was. I'm afraid I didn't get far enough to see anything about the archaeological side of things. The sentences just did not flow smoothly for me, paragraphs were muddled and as for President Troubadour, the German Chancellor Aphrodite Berserkel and a government ?black ops under Hilda Smitton. Teenage stuff. The time line for the artefact is bizarre to say the least - human-type creatures apparently dating from before the earliest hominids with their artefact from the "time directly after the last ice-age" Few million years out there then. One thing that Covid-19 has brought home - how valuable one's time is.. Mine is far too valuable to struggle on with this book for the sake of feeling obliged to get to the end since it was free in exchange for my honest opinion.. Getting to 4% was too far. Sorry. Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for an advance copy in exchange for my honest review.
