I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.
The F List was such a fun a juicy, drama filled read!
Alessandra Torre has delivered a book filled with romance, emotion, suspense, and diversity.
If you're looking for a compulsive read, I highly recommend The F List!
Torre‘s writing wasn’t for me personally, but I can see other people liking this book, especially fans of the author.
I am sorry for the inconvenience but I don’t have the time to read this anymore and have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not skim your book and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
I was initially intrigued with the premise of this book, and thought it would be an interesting, quick contemporary read. However, I was completely turned off by the writing style and unfortunately cannot force myself to continue to read.
The F List is easy to read, and is light enough to get you out of your head without having to think too much about complex plot.
A fun read.
THE F LIST was so fun!
Torre's writing is so whip-smart and accessible, and the characters she crafts truly leap off the page.
Drenched in drama, glamour, and the intrigue of today's TikTok/Instagram/influencer-obsessed era, Emma is a protagonist for the times. Her journey is not always smooth, and yet, it is wholly engaging. And the reality TV setting? One of my weaknesses! It was PERFECT!
I flew through this book, finishing it in a weekend -- and it was SO worth it. If you're looking for a little (celeb-filled) light and levity, a story to sweep you into a world of publicity and intrigue, then this title is for you!
I tried really hard to get into this book and it's completely possible it was just my mindset at the time. I can see myself enjoying The F List at a later date but right now, it just wasn't for me.
I absolutely ADORE alessandra torre and their writing because everytime it completely captivates me. I love this so much
This was a nice change of pace. It was a fun, funny, and easy read. Alessandra Torre changed things up with this concept. I enjoyed the hashtags for chapter titles, it's a small thing, but loved it. And the no sex thing? Totally worked!
This was like Big Brother meets The Bachelor meets Jersey Shore. I really enjoyed this book and I definitely would not want to live in this book.
Anything Alessandra Torre writes is amazing! Her books always make you wanting more. Her stories are so engaging and her characters are so in depth. Just love her books!
Having not read many romances about social media influencers, I was excited to see how it would pane out. While many hyped books have been failing for me, not being that entertaining or immersive, I got to admit that I actually really enjoyed reading The F List. The reality TV setting mixed with the hate to love trope was what really did it for me, as well as the chemistry and relationship between Emma and Cash. In the end, The F List was an absolute exciting book to read with such enjoyable characters and overall story, one I definitely recommend checking out!
eARC was kindly provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Unfortunately this book wasn’t for me, I DNF’d after about 30%. I have seen a lot of positive reviews for this book so may give it another go in the future!
The F list was quite interesting with the subject of self-esteem, fame, and social media. The heroine Emma was born on the wrong side of the track. She won a lottery and is determined to make herself famous through social media influencer. The hero Cash was born into fame and fortune. Emma sort of having something to prove – she is ruthless, stubborn, hard to love. In contrast everyone adores Cash. Would two people who came from such different background make it work? Well, let’s move in together for just a few months in the name of a reality show and see if they happen to fall in love (fake or real 😊). The romance part started toward end of the book and the ending to their journey is awesome. This was a fun, fast paced, lighthearted, Hollywood/enemy-to-lover romance.

This book was just what I needed in my life right now. I enjoyed the lightheartedness of The F List. This was a fast paced one sitting read.
If your looking fir something light and fast paced this is your book.
I LOVED EMMA AND CASH STORY!!.
Alessandra Torre delivered a fantastic romance- it was fresh, light, swoony and addictive. Elle and Cash were a fun couple.

I actually wasn't 100% sure if I'd enjoy this or not. Romance isn't always my thing but I really did enjoy The F List. I kind of half expected these bratty characters that I wasn't really going to like. But that wasn't the case. The F List is about two people who are just trying to live and get out of their current situation. I can guarantee that there are a lot of people out there who are doing the exact same thing! This book really is worth reading if you like a little drama and some romance.
I liked this a lot! I love stories that are fake dating and have to do with celebs! This was a lot of fun and a quick read!

"There was a lot I did to get to this point, to get 42 million followers. Some of it I was proud of, most of it I wasn't.
There was a group of us, all internet celebrities, and everyone wanted in, which is how six of us ended up living in this mansion, a camera always on, the public always watching. Two months and nine carefully scripted TV episodes that would get us more of the three F’s we were desperately chasing.
Fame. Fortune. Followers.
I knew my role. I was Emma, the unlikeable one. The dark villain with the devious smile. The package of dynamite that would blow up any chance of peaceful living and harmony.
Cash knew his role. He was the good guy. The lovable one. The one that everyone, even the darkest cast member of them all, would fall in love with.
They were supposed to just be roles.
None of it was supposed to be real.
My heart didn't get that memo." (Goodreads)
Brutal honesty, y'all - I have never watched any of the scripted reality shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Laguna Beach, The Hills, etc. The only "reality" TV I like is game shows, cooking competitions, and house renos.
All of that aside, if you like the reality behind the "reality" shows, this book is for you!

This screams "Real Life MTV" or one of those similar shows - let's pile a bunch of personalities into one house and script a few situations, then be surprised at the results!

Emma is.....not my favorite. I never understood the people who have their entire life revolve around gaining fame and fortune - well, okay, the fortune part would be nice..... but as a very socially anxious person, the fame/followers desire makes me shake at very thought. Too many stranger dangers!
The saving grace of this for me was Wesley. He sees the best in everyone, and all I want to do is spend all day every day talking with him because he sees the world in a much more positive light than most. He is the reason I finished the book, and I want more of his own story instead of using him as a plot point. Someone, please, give Wesley his spotlight!
This was a solid 3/5 stars for me. I can't say much without spoiling the ride, but if you like books like LA Candy or shows like The Hills, this is for you!
