My husband is Peurto Rican and we live far from family, so this book really piqued my interest (pun intended). It can be challenging finding some ingredients because there are not many Puerto Ricans near where we live and some things you can't even find at the Mexican grocery stores, so I loved that there were good tips for substitutions. This book offers a great variety of simple and more complicated recipes and I look forward to using it more at home this summer. The design is clean and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
