I thought this was an interesting and very informative introduction to people who want to start studying and doing Wicca. It broke down the religion and everything people need to know.

Who does not like a book dedicated to modern witchcraft and seasonal Wicca that discusses the secret, inner wisdom of these subjects and add in what they can teach us and how to use them in our practice. This book was perfect for me, as a very spiritual person and as someone who values a magickal life and wants to learn more about Wicca in general but also how to use and incorporate the seasons and seasonal changes in my spiritual system, and I really enjoyed what this book had to offer. This book would make an excellent gift too!

As a beginner Wiccan I found this book to be a wonderful reference for me. It wonderfully details rituals, Wiccan holidays and a wealth of general knowledge. Every ritual includes the steps to follow, the tools that you will need and also offers substitutes of practice based on the practitioner's tastes. An excellent book for any Wiccan's library. I highly recommend.

Seasons of Wicca is a great option for beginners to Wicca. Ambrosia offers useful information and knowledge on beginning a personal practice or joining others. The information in the book is easy-to-follow, especially regarding various rituals for all of the seasons, solstices and full moons. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a great, no-nonsense, to the Point guide to help you along with your practice.

Hawthorne divides the book into an overview of the calendar, rituals for each holiday, and rituals for each full moon. The book provides a good primer for those interested in learning more about the Wicca holidays and festivals

This book is chock full of ideas and rites for those following an earth based or wiccan path.The illustrations are placed in a very practical way that lends to the books actual use. Rituals are very well explained . The theme of Ambrosias book IMO focuses on the spiritual side of wicca which I really liked. Ways to improve your life in a positive way. Diety is discussed and many examples of Gods and Goddesses are given. I learned more about the seasons of wicca which I had never really thought about before. The whole religion of wicca made more sense and became much more meaningful to me after reading this book. Very solid and inspiring. I wanted to get outside and see what the seasons are telling me about diety the more I read !! Great addition to the library of practitioners and those interesed .

Ok, I've read my fair share of books and already have a practical knowledge of Wicca. This review is based on who I think would most bennefit from this book.

This is a good book for beginners to start in with rituals. It has basic descriptions of magical tools, elements, the wheel of the year, alter setup and casting a circle. There were rituals workings for each of the yearly celebrations as well as rites. 

As far as bieng an Essantial Guide, I think there could have been more content and in depth information presented. As stated, if you are just starting out and looking for basic knowledge and understanding, I think you would bennefit from this book.

However, for anyone who knows the basics already, I don't think there is much you can learn from this book. There are many other books out there that are similar that contain more in depth information that can help you in your ritual workings.

I did like the minimalist art and thought it brought enough visual content withought taking away from the information itself.
