Debbie Mason has done it again! This is only my second novel from this author, and I loved it just as much as the first.

Christmas on Reindeer road is the second installment of the Highland Falls series. The first one was Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge. Each of these novels can be read as a stand alone. However, you will appreciate Christmas on Reindeer Road a lot more if you read the first installment.

The descriptive summary of the novel pretty much outlines the story so I won't go into detail on what Christmas on Reindeer road is about. What I will say is that you will laugh at the awkward moments, and you will cry at those poignant moments

Christmas on Reindeer Road is a thoroughly entertaining romance novel which will make you feel warm and fuzzy all over. With a Christmas setting, how else can you not feel comfy and cozy after reading this novel?

4.5 stars rounded up. I really liked this novel. It is a feel good romance with an enchanting ending.

I received a digital ARC from Forever/Grand Central Publishing. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

You will love this book! Mallory Maitland's life has been turned upside down and believes that the spirit of Christmas will solve everything. Oliver and Brooks, her stepsons, are still angry you men. Life as they know it ended and are making things as hard for Mallory as possible. Gabriel Buchanan, chief of police, has 3 boy, Dylan and Cody, who are twins and Teddy. Now Teddy is the same as Mallory, he wants to celebrate all things Christmas. When these two meet, plans are hatched. It is going to take all of Highland Falls to make this happen and even a little help from the outside. The ending was just priceless.

This is a fun story, perfect for getting into the sprit of Christmas. The chemistry between Mallory and Gabe is strong, but their reasons for not getting involved are just as strong. What they don’t bargain for, however, is the magic of Christmas that Gabe’s 5 year old totally believes in. Ups and downs, mishaps, good friends, family drama, and the wonderful town of Highland Falls make this an entertaining, heartwarming, and emotional book. I loved it!

We were introduced to Mallory Maitland in Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge and I was wondering what would happen with her back in Atlanta. We also met Chief Gabriel Buchanan when he first arrived in town in the previous book. This book starts with her returning to Highland Falls with her teenage stepsons, who are not happy at all to be with her. They would prefer to be at their boarding school in England, but all of the money from their father's estate ended up going to his first wife and she will not pay for them to go there. They disappear when they stop for a bathroom break close to town and make false accusations of her of mistreating them in an attempt to get back to Atlanta. This leads to social services being involved throughout the book.

Mallory and Gabe become neighbors due to Abby finding the house next door for her to rent. Gabe has his own issues over his three sons with the parents of his deceased wife. This leads to them tiptoeing around their attraction to each other because they do not want to risk losing the boys. Adding in the senior citizens and Abby's videos leads to lots of funny moments in this Christmas story.

I look forward to the next adventure in Highland Falls.

I received a copy of this book to review from the publisher, Forever, through NetGalley and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Every time I read a Debbie Mason book I think this has to be the best one yet. This is no exception. Once I picked it up and started reading it seemed like I was there. I became a member of the little town and couldn't help but be pulled into the story.

The cast of characters were awesome and the words came alive on the page. A must read for the holidays. Another great book by a woman who can tell a story so well that you think you are part of it. Kinda hated for it to end, now I miss the characters.

This was a fun Christmas story covering lots of emotions...love, loss, friendship, reconnecting. It’s easy to fall in love with the characters; most of them anyway. The storyline was fast paced and a real page turner! I was sad to have the book end, and I’m hoping I’ll revisit these characters in the next book in this series. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the author. All opinions expressed are my own.
