You could say she fell for him from the first, but that isn't quite the case, because Parker fell in her bridal gown while running away from the wedding after her fiance dumped her. Liam, just returning from a blind date gone wrong, happened to be passing when she was hit by a car and took her to the ER. Who wouldn't fall for someone who looks like a young Josh Duchanel only with a southern drawl. But Parker insists that she wants nothing to do with men who must all be like her cheating ex. For Liam, still bewildered by his own ex's refusal to marry him, it seems she might be right. But the fates intervene, insisting like Parker's younger niece that they are MFEO (Made for each other). It becomes a series of bumps and starts as Parker and Liam's lives throw up challenges and obstacles that seem to at once prove them wrong and right about fate. This is a lovely warm hearted romance that really is geared beyond Young Adult and gives a lovely feel good factor at the end.

Likable characters and Enjoyable “Cinderella” and even “Sleepless in Seattle” moments. A perfect read for these trying times. Sweet, chaste Romance.

Love Me Like You Do was a very cute, fun rom-com read. I received an ARC free for my opinion of the book. I found the main characters to have great chemistry. The book was very light and easy to read. The romance developed in a nicely paced manner and was not too heavy on the insta-love.

This is a perfect book for anyone that loves a good Rom-Com. It made me laugh out loud and I was rooting for Parker and Liam from the start. I would say that the characters were very relatable and easy to connect too. Liam is for sure swoon worthy too. This was absolutely the book I needed right now. Like any rom-com, sometimes the book was predictable at times, but there were also some parts that for sure surprised me too. It was just a fun read, that had me wanting to read more.

I don't normally read more than one book at a time but I decided to start this book while reading another. This book took over my interest and I flew through it! It was a light, easy read! Rom-coms are my favorite genre and this was perfect. I had me literally lol-ing at times and I was definitely teary-eyed at the end!
We start the story with Parker being dumped on her wedding day (gasp)! She leaves and nearly gets hit by a car, enter Liam! Parker and Liam keep running into each other in the most embarrassing and unlikely of places.
Naturally, one thing leads to another, or at least for one of them!
This is definitely a great summer read!

Love Me Like You Do was a cute book about two people that really needed someone and found it in each other. I was able to get through the book quickly, as it kept my attention most of the way.. It did become a little routine at times. It was a cute novel with cute characters, I would read from this author again.

Thank you to NetGalley and Aria publishing for this ARC

This was a very enjoyable read! It was funny, cute and engaging! Within the first percent of the book I was laughing out loud. Parker gets dumped by the alter and while running away she meets a Prince Charming who saves her life. Parker thought that she died and kept on referring to Liam (the Prince Charming) as God. Liam then helps her to the ER and a lot of funny shenanigans follow suit. All the characters were very likable and I felt invested in their story from the first chapter. Parker was strong and funny and Liam was just the sweetest! I especially have a soft spot for Liam because he was so cute and respectful.

Thank you to NetGalley for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Parker meets Liam when she has been dumped at the alter and was running away from the humiliation. They become friends, however fate keeps bringing them together and people keep telling them that they are MFEO (meant for each other)

I liked Liam from the beginning and not just because he saves Parker from being ran over but because of his southern drawl - this Brit has always been attracted to that accent (I’m thinking about you Matthew McConaughey) I could tell than Liam was nothing like Parker’s ex and yes, as usual this was a predictable chick lit book but I liked it. Yes, it was a bit of an easy, slow burn book but I’m in lockdown and so it was a nice few hours of escapism for me.

Parker and Liam are MEFO (Meant for Each Other). The Universe just keeps bringing them together - and when they (really Parker) resist, the universe (or fate) offers up even more close ties so that they can't walk away. They meet when Liam saves Parker from being hit by a car as she is running away from her wedding after her fiance leaves her at the altar.

From the beginning it is clear that Liam is one of the good ones. He hasn't had an easy life - but he really has built himself up into a really good guy with a burgeoning success of a bar. Where he hasn't had a lot of luck is with women. He seems to have a talent for picking women who don't want him back. He is also struggling with reconnecting with his estranged father. But that doesn't stop him from becoming interested in Parker and wanting to develop a relationship with her.

Parker is very gun shy from the breakup of her relationship with her ex-fiance. She doesn't feel like now is the time for her to start dating again (which is probably true) but the heart doesn't always work on the timeline its supposed to.

I loved the story and the two of them together. There were a few things that kept this from being a five star read for me - <spoiler> I felt like there were a lot of things going on with side characters that didn't get enough development or were hinted at but not delved into. If we weren't getting in to them - I almost wish they hadn't been mentioned. Like the effect of Jenna's friendship on Parker's sister's life - it felt like that was going to have a negative effect on her marriage. I also think at the end, where Liam is taking a more active role in his sister's life while their father is in the hospital, it felt like some additional attention needed to be paid towards helping Char get some support. She was acting out and while clearly Liam cared - it was pretty much just glossed over as teenage behavior. He isn't her dad - but it felt like more attention needed to be paid to what was happening rather than as a sidebar. I also felt like the end was rushed and that Parker's behavior didn't really make a lot of sense. I was confused as to why she was surprised about how Liam felt and unsure as to whether he would want to see her. They obviously have a ways to go in the communication department.</spoiler>

Overall this is a sweet story with a lot of fun characters and a great romance. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

REVIEW

This was such a fantastic RomCom and I’m glad I got acquainted with this new to me author, of whom I know want to read MORE. I devoured the book within 2 sittings and I’m sad it’s over.

These characters stole my heart right from the start. They were so much fun to read about and made me want to be a part of their world. In general, the entire set of characters was really great I think. The minor ones were present a lot and really added more depth to the story and its development. I love that < This way, it definitely wasn’t only about the MC’s and their romance (which was all really well developed the romance and the characters), but Family is also a strong representative element and I loved that too.

What I also love that it’s a bit low on the romance drama; something you don’t come across often in romance book. I don’t mind a lot of drama, but I really love romance books like this one as well. There’s still a lot happening though, so don’t think I mean that it’s boring or anything because it’s far from it! But I meant by it that the developing romance was just really cute and without too much drama. It felt realistic and that’s what I love so much about it! These two MC’s were definitely MFEO < Made For Each Other.

2 Minor things that I had some remarks on
and why I gave the book a 4 star rating instead of a higher one
:
- I didn’t really understand the presence of the dog. I am such a huge dog lover and Love reading about them in books, but I just don’t think that adding George to it was a good choice > The story-line, the situation just wasn’t a good fit for a dog I think. A Dog doesn’t really fit into the MC’s lifestyle, and even though it sometimes was fun to read about George the Dog, I think it would’ve been better in this case to left him out entirely in my honest opinion.
- I missed a bit more closure with the Liam/Chris situation. I came to like the development of their background story and in the end it felt a bit unfinished I guess.

Conclusion
Overall, this is a book I’d Highly recommend if you not only like to read a Laugh Out Loud RomCom but also like it when there’s more focus on other elements as well < like in this case the Families of both main characters as well as the friendships that we read about.

It’s a cute and funny (as in: It definitely has a good amount of Laugh Out Loud moments) and fast-paced. This is a perfect book to pick up if you want a very well written RomCom that sweeps you off of your feet instantly!

This was a very sweet, very slow burn romance. I struggled with it at times. It definitely dragged in parts. I did not find myself invested so much in the outcome. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

This was a very cute romance. I loved both main characters and rooted for them both to have their happy ending (and was very glad when it happened!) Parker's family was adorable, and I appreciated the author's exploration of Parker's mother's mental health. Liam and Parker's friends-to-lovers story was very sweet, if a bit rushed toward the end.

The story revolves around a very select group of characters that are intertwined in various ways - and I was really weirded out by it at first, but then it was directly addressed as being odd within the book, so I'll consider it ok :) I did feel like Liam's relationship with his dad should have been explored a little more (there was resolution, but no real explanation for it) as well as why Liam's dad ended up in Portland (since Liam had moved specifically from Texas to Portland, it seems odd for his dad to be there too...unless there was more explanation...)

Overall, a cute easy read that I recommend!

I love a good romance novel and this one did not disappoint! I swooned for Liam and routed for him the entire time.

I would have liked some things in the story to be touched on more like Liam's relationship with his father. Overall I would have loved the story to have been longer because I absolutely loved these characters!

This was such a great read!

Oh, sweet, sweet Liam.

I think Liam might be the only fictional guy that I've actually rooted for over the actual love interest, in Aimee Brown's The Lucky Dress. So I was thrilled for him to get his own story.

Parker was absolutely the perfect woman for him though!

I feel like there wasn't enough closure for the Liam/Chris thing (and also, skimmed over why Char had moved in with him, with no real confirmation) but other than that, and a few minor spelling and grammar mistakes that I'm assuming will be fixed before publishing, I adored this book.

Parker and Liam forever!

I really enjoyed this one! It took me by surprise as I have to confess it’s not my usual go to genre but it was the perfect escapism I needed right now. Sweet, perfectly paced and the fluffy read I needed.

This book was so adorable! I’m having a head time putting it into words how much I loved this book. From beginning to end I was completely hooked. The plot was amazing and the pacing was perfect. I read it all In one sitting. Parker and Liams story was heartwarming and so amazing. I laughed a lot and smiled so much while reading it.
5 stars.

This was such a cute book, I couldn’t put it down and I read it in one sitting.

The author does an amazing job writing the characters in a way that you can’t help but fall in love with them. Oh my gosh, Liam?! Swoon. I loved the dynamic between Parker and Harper and the whole cast of characters. It was very evident from the beginning the Liam fit in so well with the whole family. I wish the relationship between Parker and Becker when they were in Costa Rica was displayed more, that would have been an interesting new relationship between them to explore. Ex-lovers and now tolerate each other and even seem to respect each other.

I loved the scene where Liam was super drunk and Parker took care of him. That was fun to imagine them together at that point.

Overall a super fun read.

I wasn’t able to find this book on Goodreads, but once I do I will add this review there.
