A classic science fiction story, which was made into a movie several years ago. It is kind of hard to follow at times given it skips through a lot of time.
David Mitchell is an very accomplished author, and it's always good to pick up a new book from him. This isn't a new title by a long shot, but I didn't get to read it until after I watched the movie, and as always (almost), the book is way better than the movie, even if this is a good adaptation.
I did not have a chance to read this book, but it is effecting my feedback rating. I am giving books 5 stars that I haven't read to improve my feedback rating. I am not recommending the book for my classroom or students since I have not read the book. There needs to be a better system of leaving feedback for books not read.
I really thought I would like this, but I just could not get into the story. I even tried to watch the movie version and still couldn't get into it. I do know other people who love this book and the movie. So, my low star rating isn't for the writing or the book I feel like. It's just not for me.
Couldn't finish, just not for me. I couldn't make it through the earliest sections, despite the buzz from the movie coming out when I tried to read it.
This book was mind-bending but good. I enjoyed reading it before watching the movie.
My apologies; if I requested this book, it appears that due to family commitments I was not able to read it before the book was archived. I'm sorry it has lingered this long.
