I have a huge respect for authors who still can surprise me creating a new world, one with anything I have already read.I believe this to be really complicated as so many different science fiction and paranormal series have been created till today. That's why EVERY TIME I find a whole new series with a theme and a plot I have never read anything alike, I just HAVE TO share it with the rest of you all.

While I wasn't that attracted to the characters, I was completely entertained by this new world Frank introduces us to. The concept of body walkers was really interesting to me, to choose between dying or sharing your body with another being. I just adore this situations that make me insecure of what I would do in their place. And the pharaohs reference was amazing... I have read about demons, vampires, wolves, shifters, gods and so mucho more, but definitely never about the ancient Egypt. I guess, that's the main reason I was so captivated with this series.

I started book 2 right away as well.

While not one of the best series I have read, nor the best from this author, It was still a great read. I would recommend it to paranormal romance fans who are bored of reading ALWAYS THE SAME.

Unfortunately. I was unable to finish this book and have to put it on my DNR list.
I was unable to connect with the character and therefore unable to get invested in this story.
I hope in the future I might try to revisit this series.
