Thank you for this sweet rom-com! At first, I didn’t think I was going to like this book but once I got about 20% thru I was hooked. So keep reading! It sucks you in and could not put it down. Definitely connected with the characters and couldn’t wait to see how it ended. Definitely will recommend this one to everyone!

What did I just read? I have so many questions. The story is cute. I think i am in daze because i can't seem to figure out what happened. Was there really an accident? Did I miss that part? And did I miss the part where everything just went back to where it should be. The story is really sweet, not taking away from that, but I am confused if there really was an accident or not? Help me.

**FULL REVIEW**

My first holiday read of the year and I am NOT disappointed! Christina Lauren has done a superb job of blending a little bit of fantasy with a contemporary love story and I found myself smiling from ear to ear as I read.

A little emotional at the end, I won't lie...because it was that sweet, the meat of this story is one where you half expect to start at square one when you're half-way through only to be continually surprised that it flows on. (If I sound like I'm talking gibberish, it's time to pick this book up because I promise it makes sense!)

Mae is completely likable and sweet, the family dynamics (while confusing at first and even a little bit eclectic) are fantastic, and the setting of this sweet time-loop story is absolutely perfect. Lauren's imagery made me feel as though I was experiencing everything (and I mean everything) first hand. I couldn't have asked for a better Holiday read to begin the season (that hasn't even started yet) with.

If you'd like to know more...like what's the deal with Theo and Andrew? Pick this book up and read it. There's a sense of nostalgia along with a huge heartfelt matter that I wanted to live in between the pages of this story and I hope Lauren writes more like this, I will 100% read every single one.

I absolutely loved this book and everything about it! This is a perfect book for the holiday season, packed with Christmas love and cheer. I truly enjoyed reading this book because it upped my mood and spirits and helped me remember the reason and magic of the holiday season. I would highly recommend adding this book to your holiday reading list; it is like reading a Hallmark movie!

This was a cozy, cute book. I really liked Maelyn as a main character. She was very easy to root for. I would give it a 3.5 rating. I do wish it had more of a Christmas feeling to it.

I have been a fan of Christina Lauren since Beautiful Bastard. The one thing I have come to adore is the way they have evolved their writing. It is still so passionate and unique and with In a Holidaze, I adored the way they threw in their take of Ground Hog's Day and the hilarity that ensued. It is a fun and light read that will have you smiling and grinning! Honestly, once I started I could not put it down. I am adoring these books from this author and I hope they keep them coming!

Love it! The dynamic duo of romance does it again. And this time, in adorable holiday fashion.

I’m a huge fan, and this book didn’t disappoint.

I love the Groundhog Day feel. It was a super cute, fun read. One perfect for the upcoming holiday season!!

First of all, let's get this out of the way: This is not a squeaky clean romance like the ones I normally read. This has language and a fairly tame (and totally skippable) sex scene - think the higher end of PG-13. (Judging by the reviews I read, the scene in question is quite mild for what Christina Lauren [the writing duo Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings] normally write. So please don't blame me if you read this, seek out other Christina Lauren books, and encounter explicit content.)

Anyway, to the book! It. Is. So. Fun. While the time didn't loop as many times as I expected, and there's really never any explanation for why Mae was looping, the story itself is incredibly enjoyable! Hallmark, Lifetime, Netflix, or someone should get on making this into a movie STAT.

As I read, I actually wasn't sure which way the story would go. I mean, I thought Mae should be with Andrew, but what if she was actually supposed to be with Theo? So it was a fun journey to the end.

If you're looking for a cute holiday romance (and you don't mind if it's not squeaky clean), this is just the ticket!

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren is a new holiday contemporary romance. This is my first book by Christina Lauren. I will say this genre was very far outside of my wheelhouse. The concept of the story definitely takes some suspension of disbelief to get your head into story. Once you have done that it is an adorable romantic version of Ground Hog Day/Time Traveler’s Wife.
It is a super-sweet childhood friends become lovers at Christmastime (what could be more perfect?) Deep friendships become more emotional and enriching. There are also deeper meanings when you dive below the surface. Family, friendship, being true to yourself, finding out who you are and what you want and last but not least, acceptance are a few of the feelings bantered around.
With all that is going on in the world a Christmas book in October was just about what I needed. I will be looking for Ms. Lauren’s other books. Well done.

Thanks to Gallery Books, Christina Lauren and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

In the realm of very specific tropes, I am absolutely a sucker for "two or more different families share a holiday home and there might be something romantic going on between two of the kids of these two or more families" and I adore Christmas so this was right up my street. And I really enjoyed it! When you read Christina Lauren you know you're going to get a good story. However, I was a bit disappointed with the central romance. We are never given any concrete history to show why our heroine is so obsessed with the male love interest, and we get zero clues from him to show why he jumps on board with a romance so quickly. I also felt like the time travel aspect fell to the wayside pretty quickly, and could have ramped up the plot a bit more. That said, I would certainly recommend this to fans of Christmas books and fans of Lauren!

In a Holidaze was a great, feel-good holiday romance. The craziness of Groundhog Day mixed with the drama of The Family Stone is an excellent way to characterize it too. Maelyn is such a wonderfully relatable character - struggling to find herself and figure out what she wants to do with her life. Getting the chance for a re-do, she decides to take a risk in her career and go after the man she has loved for many years. This book was just what I needed to read right now - the perfect blend of hilarious family moments, drama, and a sexy friends-to-lovers romance. It also made me long for someone in my family to have a cozy cabin where we can all gather for the holidays. Thanks for giving me the chance to read this novel - can't wait to see what Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings write next.

Cute romantic Holiday book. This book gave you romance and comedy and a good family relationship. I love a good story of growing up with someone and falling for that person.

I however wasn't too huge on the relapse. I felt like I could've done with more of sexy steam aswell. But that's my preference. The book had good romance so that's a bonus.

It felt a tad rushed in writing but not enough for me to not recommend. For a holiday book it's a quick and easy read!

This book was such a delightful holiday romance that also had me feeling all the feels. I love a good friends-to-lovers trope, especially when at least one party has been secretly pining for the other their whole lives. But this book definitely had a unique twist. And as it turns out, there’s nothing like a bit of groundhog day repetition to get you thinking about your life, your priorities, and give you some courage to go after what you really want!

Maelyn Jones (our leading lady) is spending the holidays with her family and family friends at the cabin in Utah where they’ve spent all their holidays over the years. She’s lamenting some drunken choices from the night before, along with the fact that she’s in a dead-end job and had to move back in with her parents, when she makes a wish. The universe decides to grant it, just not in the way she expected.

I gave this book two and a half eggplants because there is some sexy-time but it’s limited to just a couple of scenes and it isn’t overly graphic. If you’re a Christina Lauren fan think more towards Love and Other Words, than Beautiful Bastard on the steam scale.

As I mentioned, this book had me feeling all kinds of ways and it certainly had me feeling nostalgic about all the family holidays we’ve had (particularly the ones all together in a snowy Colorado wonderland), and lamenting the fact that we won’t be getting together this year.

In a Holidaze is the perfect book to live vicariously through these holidays.

I truly hate the Groundhog Day trope. Like it enrages and frustrates me. Well I actually enjoyed this book. I am glad I didn’t know what is was about before I read it because I wouldn’t have.

This book was really cute! I really adored all the characters and found this book to be really cute. I found the book to be a little rushed and didn't really get what The Big Conflict was - but overall really cute!

Was it life altering? No. Was it adorable? Yes! Great holiday read!

I have to say Im a fan of this author due & was beyond happy I was given the arc! I really enjoyed the family and holiday feels this book gave! Our heroine Maelyn goes on this family trip where the man she’s been in love with comes along, Andrew. His brother, Theo comes along as well and has always been there for Maelyn. During the trip she starts to feel miserable and wishes for a change.....that’s exactly what she gets! Stuck in a crazy circle of starting her trip over in Dec 20th. Maelyn had to start to figure out what makes her happy in hope to get out of this circle! Maelyn gets to learn more about Andrew during these times....he’s so funny and sweet!! I loved wittiness throughout this book!! I enjoyed watching Maelyn and Andrew come together! They had good chemistry together for sure! I highly recommend this book! It was all in all a sweet holiday read!

this was completely and utterly delightful. i read the synopsis way back when, completely forgot about it, and went into this completely blind. well, blind as in i knew it was a christina lauren, so it was bound to be good. i admit, i was a bit bummed by one of their most recents being closed door - *not* because i need the steam, but because it was so abrupt and in my opinion not handled well. this one, on the other hand, handled perfectly. this is how you do closed door - or at least, not open door. there was tension and it felt steamy without it being like their older books. i didn't even notice, really. again, i don't need the steam, but it often helps develops the relationship in these books so it can be really crucial, so i think closed door might be a bit harder, at least when it comes to me as a reader falling love with the characters. anywho! long story long, thought it was handled really well and i really enjoyed that aspect of it. other than that, i thought it was adorable and sweet and thoroughly enjoyable. i thought it was really unique, well written, fabulous characters, fast paced, easy to read. highly recommend, christmas or any time of year! super cute.

As always, Christina Laurens provides a laugh-out-loud, adorable read. While it didn't go the direction I was hoping, I really enjoyed it.
