I had heard of The LadyGang podcast but I’m not an avid listener. In fact, I have never listened to an episode, but this title and synopsis grabbed me. This was a cute, light, and quick read. Being the founder of a women’s organization, I understand the dire need for a sense of community among women. The LadyGang women have harnessed that in an unique way. I admire them for all they’ve accomplished and built with the brand and genuinely enjoyed the book. Looking forward to keeping my eye on these women! Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a fun read! I had heard of the Lady Gang podcast but didn't follow any of the girls closely. This made me fall in love with them! It was a really funny relatable read for anyone. It covered everything from emo stages to bad first dates and plastic surgery - I was laughing out loud! Definitely recommend.

This was a nice, light read during quarantine. I've listened to a few of the LadyGang podcasts but I wouldn't say I'm a huge follower; however, this book was really fun and enjoyable to read. You could hear each of their individual voices in their short stories. This book is meant to be more of an advice/tall tales on various life experiences they have had figuring out things like breakups, career, and adult friendships.

It's a good quick read to learn more about the ladies' lives and advice from their past. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC read in exchange for an honest review.

I think this book looks like the type of pretty, eye catching book that you’d find in a table in Anthropologie. But there’s real substance here, it is delivered in a friendly style but it’s very serious at times too.

I watched The Lady Gang on tv and if was always funny and somewhat over the top. I wasn’t familiar with the podcast, I’m sorry I just don’t listen to any podcasts. I found the tv show because I was familiar with seeing Becca on Glee. It was fun to watch a show with everyone’s real personalities and not characters.

I feel like this book accomplished that too. Sure, it’s written by three very funny and entertaining women. It handles serious issues between sillier topics. But all three women have been through some very serious situations in their lives. They open their hearts about their own experiences to share advice with others.

They talk about friendship, relationships, careers, divorce, losing someone you love, low self esteem, weight issues, emotionally abusive relationships, and a bunch of other topics.

I think they offered a lot of good advice. It’s not always easy to love yourself but you have to learn to. Don’t settle for a relationship with a man that you can picture actually caring for when you’re elderly. Don’t be hard on yourself but work hard for what you want in life. And it’s ok to make mistakes as long as you learn from them.

I got to read an early ebook edition from NetGalley. Thank you!

What a fun read! With a brand new set of GirlPower words like "sexorcism" and "yesterbae," these women have come together to share their most relatable, tragic, and hilarious stories for our generation. While I had never heard of any of the writers before reading this book, I fell in love with the down-to-earth way that they described their 20's, their lost loves, and their best/worst friendships. At times, the book was slightly repetitive, and I couldn't connect to the rich and famous lives they've lived as internet/media celebrities, I did take several really good pieces of advice from this book. The illustrations are hilarious, and pages like the "Man Manifest List" can jumpstart deep, introspective, and important conversations among readers. I appreciate the candidness of these voices, and I look forward to finding more material that they share in the future. Thanks NetGalley for the great read!

*Thanks to Rodale Books + NetGalley for the ARC!*

I fucking LOVE the LadyGang, so of course I've preordered this book and immediately requested the ARC on NetGalley.

What I think this book does well:
- I could literally hear each of them speaking their chapters because the tone of their writing was so similar to how they actually speak on the podcast (and that's more rare than people realize!).
- There's *a lot* of vulnerability in the book. Each woman tells her stories authentically, and in more detail than we've heard before. I especially appreciated Becca's chapter about her fiance's death. Knowing how challenging that must be to speak about and that Becca wasn't on board to write this book, that chapter specifically really stood out to me.
- This feels like a first book and that leaves a ton of room for future books! There's a lot of formative stories and background info, and if you're not an existing fan, it's exactly what you need to get hooked on the LadyGang.

Not a fan of the LadyGang yet? That's not a reason to skip this book! Keltie, Becca, and Jac are relatable, they're thirties, they're THRIVING, and during quarantimes, YOU NEED A LAUGH. This is it. Read, relate, share with your friends. 💕

So I have been a fan of The Ladygang since 2016 so I have heard quite a few of these stories at one point or another during their episodes but there were definitely some stories I hadn’t heard and I still think Becca, Keltie, and Jac are so awesome. I loved the graphics and “worksheets” throughout. I will definitely be buying a physical copy!

I absolutely love The Lady Gang podcast hosted by this trio and can give the same glowing endorsement of their book.

Keltie, Jac, and Becca each tell their personal stories and offer advice in four areas: romantic relationships, career, self-love, and friendship. They then break down each of these topics, taking turns sharing personal moments and stories that have shaped them, as well as offering advice, fun illustrations, and even journal activities.

Even for the most die-heart of fans, you'll find new, juicy stories from each of the ladies that you haven't heard on the podcast before, from how Jac lost her virginity at 23 in a cheap motel room to the story behind Keltie's first marriage at 21. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll fall in love with this girl gang.
