Kristen Bailey is laugh-out-loud hilarious. If one of her books comes your way, do not miss out on the opportunity to read it!

I really enjoyed this book. It is the 2nd book in the series of the Callaghan Sisters and I adored the whole series! I read book 5 first without realising and then book 1, then this one.

Kristen has a way of making you connect and care about each of the sisters as you read their story. There is always one you will connect with more and relate to because they are all a version of someone whether it's you or someone you know.

Reading this had me thinking back to my own break up and how dating now can be hard work and a complete disaster at times! I connected with Emma and really wanted her to find love. I was laughing out loud at the disastrous dates she went on and really hoping she would find her Mr Right. I also found myself loving her friends and the other supporting characters around her (as well as the other sisters) I felt like I could be friends with her.

The story was a bit of a rollercoaster at times and I felt all the emotions while reading it. A real testament to Kristen's writing of being able to pull me in and have me care about all the characters no matter whose story I was reading about! Kristen is definitely my new favourite author and one I recommend everyone to!

This book is one that I could recommend for a female audience who enjoys fictional lifestyles regardless of if they are relatable. It is always fun to take bits of characters and make them similar to yourself. It helps you enter into the book as a ghostly background character.

A houmous heartfelt look at family life after divorce. I really enjoyed this one. Certain scenes had me in absolute stitches. Emma was a great leading lady. She's picking up the pieces of her life after her divorce and trying to keep things civil for the children's sake. She finds herself with a new lodger in the form of her wild child no holds barred sister Lucy who was an absolute delight! I love the relationship she has with her family they may not always see eye to eye but they are always there for each other. It was great seeing Emma navigate her way through life back on the dating scene, dealing with her ex and learning more about his ways that lead to the divorce in the first place. This story although very funny also felt very real. I will definitely be reading the rest of the sister stories

Can I Give My Husband Back? is a hilarious, light hearted and fun read! Emma Callaghan is a paediatric cardiologist, a recently divorced mother of two, who despite her best efforts can’t escape her ex husband Simon. During their marriage he lied, cheated and hurt her. Since their divorce it’s still continued because at every turn she learns more about his horrible sordid ways. She gave him back, he’s not her problem anymore, but he’s continuing to take up a lot of headspace. She absolutely deserves a refund for everything she’s been put through. There’s no doubt he broke her and now she’s ready to start dating again. And dating is an ordeal in itself... While her ex is a really dislikable cheating dirtbag, Emma has a brilliant family. Her 4 sisters are amazing and the standout is her youngest sister, Lucy, who currently lives with Emma and the girls, and her passionate dislike of Simon is hysterical! The whole family hates Simon, but Lucy especially has Emma’s back when it comes to Simon

Such a fun book to read. I always like to read a upbeat story in between more serious books. Can I Give My Husband Back? Is a witty, fun story about family, divorce, forgiving oneself & trying to forgive others. This is the second book in the series ( Callaghan Sisters) and it read like a stand alone. The author did a great job of developing each sister. Each has their quirks and they are fiercely protective of each other. Emma feels like she is ready to date after her divorce. Her sister’s called her ex Satan and it took longer to move on then she might thought. She is a heart surgeon, successful and blessed with two daughters. You can only imagine how moving on goes for Emma.. she hasn’t dated in years, questions how she will make it in the dating world. She shouldn’t worry about it though. With sisters as supportive as they are, parents that are amazing and friends that help her, Emma sees the light at the end of the tunnel. I actually laughed out loud while reading g this book. The sisters making fun of and at her Ex is priceless. My sisters would do the same. The story is quirky and fun, the topic is serious but the tone is light. I really enjoyed this story. I loved all the characters, including how ridiculous “satan” was. It doesn’t have a perfect ending but I didn’t want that. It ended just the way it should. I actually started reading the first book and will read more books by the author. Such a good book and a good author. This gem was given to me by Netgalley & the author Kristen Bailey, for an honest review. It was my pleasure to read and review. This was a four star read for me. I have recommended it to friends and family. I also shared it on my Instagram page and social media sites. If you want a good laugh, this is the book for you..

I Loved Has Anyone Seen My Sex Life and was excited to see this one on Netgalley, but life took over and it was left on my shelf.
Then, I re discovered it, and as usual with this author, I howled with laughter! The author spots thingsvthat we as readers know are there, but glaze over.

Loved Emma, thought Simon was an idiot.

Just perfect to get you out of a grumpy mood.

First time reading a book by this author. Loved the book. Made me laugh many times. I went through a divorce and could imagine myself as the main character.
Definately recommend this book. Thank you to the publisher and author for allowing me to read this book.

Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read a free advance copy of this book. Unfortunately I hadn't found time during the year to read this book, and so I will be picking up a paid copy in 2021 to support the author instead as an apology.

Thanks to the publishers for sharing this one. I think I've found a new favourite author. It reminds me a lot of Sophie Ranald. My full review appears on Weekend Notes.

This book has hilarious - it made me really laugh out loud and was totally entertaining. How many of us have actually thought, ‘if it was only possibly to get a receipt with this person?’

The story is centred around Emma who leaves her abominable, cheating husband, Simon. The story is witty and has you rooting for Emma to gain some control back.

I loved how the book told a story of trials abs tribulations, but also one of self-discovery and acceptance, where independence is born.

Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

This book has been very laugh out loud entertaining and hilarious! Who hasn't been through at least one bad relationship and wanting a refund on what felt like so much wasted time and effort. This story is about Emma who leaves her arrogant, despicable, lying, manipulating, cheating husband Simon. Here is a successful woman who had this emotional attachment to a husband that didn't feel the same or thought about his family, having two kids and daughters at that together and to still do the things he did..... well it can be a typical tale told in so many ways, but this was absolutely fun, fresh, witty, and so laughable you couldn't help but really enjoy the read! Funny catch phrases and sayings throughout, just a comical feel in a situation that can be unnerving. Starting over at some point can be adventurous and this book brought real situations into a fun light. Light drama, such relatable topics, this was like like reading a rom-com backwards and there wasn't a relationship at the end of the rainbow, there was independence. Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the copy to rate and review with my honest feedback, I really enjoyed this in between breaking up my thriller reads!

Bailey did it again. I absolutely loved this book and I credit it with allowing be to find my reading mojo again in October.

It follows Emma. Brilliant paediatric heart surgeon and mummy to two gorgeous girls. She’s also ex-wife to an a**hole of a man and Can I Give My Husband Back? is the story of how Emma navigates life as divorcee. The drama and dirty looks at the school gate, coming face to face with your ex-husbands mistress, the drama of a wild younger sister who seems to flash her foof at every opportunity, the fear of starting something with someone new: I enjoyed every aspect of this story.

I also love love loved the fact that this is obviously a series surrounding the Callaghan sisters, but at the same time it reads as a standalone novel. So much so I only realised it was a sequel to Has Anyone Seen My Sex Life? (that runs concurrently in timeline) when Emma headed up to the Lakes to come to Meg’s rescue. Which is when I got really excited! Bailey managed it so well. There were no summaries, no round ups, no going over old ground. Has Anyone Seen My Sex Life? was solidly Meg’s story, and Can I Give My Husband Back? is Emma’s. And I loved it.

Although not as laugh out loud funny as Has Anyone Seen My Sex Life?, this book is far deeper, has more sentimentality and the characters have a lot of depth. The writing style flows and is so easy to read, the characters are not only likeable but real, with their own faults and over reactions.

I can’t wait for the next book and desperately hope we have the three remaining Callaghan sisters to go in the series.

This was a charming and very funny book. I enjoyed the story of a woman and her family trying to decide what to do about her cheating husband. I was laughing all the way through the book, the author takes a sensitive subject and makes it fun to read about. I recommend this book, 4 stars.

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of this book to read from Netgalley.

This book was amazing! I found myself with a grin on my face for most of it and loved the witty humor. It's not often a book makes me giggle this much.

This book takes the difficult topic of divorce and turns it into an uplifting story about a woman and her experience with the first two years, with the help of her sisters. There is great character development throughout the book and the characters are fun. Despite dealing with the pain of heartbreak and recovery, this book remains quite entertaining. I highly recommend checking this one out!

I think this book was enjoyable, but it wasn't the laugh-out-loud ride I was promised. The relationship between the sisters was well written, and was what saved the book for me.

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.

This was a laugh out loud book for me. I really enjoyed it. I had actual fun reading it ans whereas some of these romantic books are usually predictable ...I found that the whole story was suprising in a way that makes me want to put a good 5 stars to it. It was a road to recovery for the main character, a good heartfelt novel...
