Glork patrol is silly and good for younger audiences, potentially fun for a read aloud. Lots of bright colors and silly illustrations will keep readers engaged.
This is a good choice for a younger reader who is just starting to read comics and graphic novels. The content is definitely geared toward younger grades.
A wacky character-driven romp for early readers. If you like this story, there are more Gloriana Warrior books to be enjoyed.
The graphics were fun and I can see kids really enjoying this book.the characters are enjoyable and I can see students continuing to enjoy this series.
This is such a cute book for young kiddos, especially ones new to reading. The art is very colorful and fun, and the characters are quirky..
There are some kids who are going to love this book. It’s that right age of done with easy readers but still need easier things to read. Various aliens meet up in space to save each other. Baby Glork kind of reminds me of Baby from the Dinosaurs. Which is why I know this will be someones must have series.
Very silly and easy graphic novel for young readers with goofy characters and premise. It’s an enjoyable romp that kids in a giddy mood will embrace. I could see fans of Spongebob style humor finding it uproarious.
This graphic novel/ picture book is a fun and engaging title to give to young readers interested in starting a graphic novel. The artwork is bright and colorful. The characters are silly and sure to be appreciated by those in pre-k through 2nd grade.
Silly story about babies and dangers, perceived, or other wise starring the Glorkian Warrior, Baby Gonk, and Super Backpack.
I think this is more of a 3.5 star book, but I am rounding up because I like James Kochalka so much. While not as strong as Johnny Boo (a series I LOVE and recommend constantly to emerging readers) it is definitely still a good offering. This will be perfect for kids who want to read something like Dog Man, but aren't quite there yet skill-wise.
