Wasn't for me. Couldn't connect with this story. I didn't enjoy the way the story switched from one 'timeline' to the next.
The most exciting element of this book was the idea of reality being ripped apart. I brought to mind books from other genres and authors and I would definitely read it again.
Not a book I would classify as horror, but a cute story nonetheless. A lot of the book repeated without much variation and that could have been either streamlined or written in a more nuanced fashion.
The concept that changing tiny points in time could alter our entire reality and is something I have been fascinated with for a long time. Eclipsed takes that concept and melds it together with a peak at how alongside alternate dimension beings our understanding of free will may be little more than an illusion.
The time line for the story does jump around a lot as these types of tales are prone to do. As such this story takes a bit more focus than other books I have read this year but it’s break neck pace still keeps it a quick and enjoyable read .
This book may be a good fit for people who enjoy such as the butterfly effect and Doctor who.
