I'm sorry I was not able to read and review this book before it was archived due to serious health issues

This was my first real foray into the Steampunk genre - so I cannot really compare it to others. I did like the story line - it was well-paced with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing - and the main character, the brutish Jolly - a thief catcher for the Bow Street Firm. It was interesting to see how real life personages were posited within the story.
