Sadly this book just was not for me. This sat on my kindle for quite some time - twice I have attempted to read and twice I did not finish.

Thankyou for the opportunity but I will not be providing feedback on any commercial sites for this book.

Quite an interesting read, I was captured by the premise of it. When new neighbors took an extra interest in the eldest son of Abby and Ty, it raised my heckles too. When the nanny quit and the neighbor took over, I was sure something creepy would happen. It did. A murder.

My first book by this author, certain sections were fantastical. The characters made their mark on me as there were too many secrets. I liked how the story came together at the end.
Overall a fun read.

I couldn’t get through this. The writing was so immature. I think what threw me off the most was the chapters from the little boys perspective and his communications with his twin siblings (Alexis and Blake). I have never witnessed children at the age having conversations like that.

This book was not something I would recommend. The premise was decent, but I just couldn’t get passed the writing style.

Great plot with numerous twists and turns. The author gives the readers just enough information to hook them. The reader has a vested interest to figure out the rest and connect the dots.

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect, just that it had sounded like an interesting read as I do love my mysteries but haven't read anything by this author in the past. As I started it, I was immediately hooked by the strange woman in the park and then the book jumps to one year later where we meet the Rambally family Abbie, Ty, and their three children Lucas, Blake, and Alexis. We also meet their nanny Olivia/Liv. The parents are both Doctors in training so are busy but you can tell this family loves one another. Down the road from the Ramballys, a couple known as the Paynes have just moved in and seem a bit too odd for Abbie. Jenna brings back some horrible memories for Abbie as she starts asking questions about Lucas. We then learn a bit more about Abbie and Lucas's past and the plans that Jenna and Charlie Payne have up their sleeve. What follows next is an action-packed novel filled with murder, mystery, and secrets that unfold as the story goes along. Winds of Fear is a mystery that holds the readers’ attention as you want to discover what is going to happen next and eventually, you wish the best for the Rambally family, especially for Lucas as you can't help but fall in love with his sweet childlike nature. Even though this is Book #3 in the Fearless Series, it can be read as a stand-alone as the story was easy to pick up and follow. I am now looking forward to discovering and reading more reads by Glede Browne Kabongo. Winds of Fear, a good mystery/thriller to add to your reading lists as it doesn't disappoint.

Winds of Fear by Gledé Brown Kabongo is an excellent psychological thriller surrounding Abbie Rambally and her immediate family. This book takes you in a roller coaster ride that doesn’t let up until the end. It had me fully engrossed until the very end. This was my first book by this author but I am going back and reading all the others. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed this quick and exciting read. It was full of intrigue and suspense. A real page turner. I couldn't wait to discover the truth behind each twist. The writing was well-paced and the plot moved along swiftly, with sufficient recounts of previous books for it to be a satisfying stand-alone read.

"I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

This book was downright amazing. The book starts off with a women at a school, taking pictures of a kid and the nanny asks what are you doing? Fast forward a year and the new neighbors are asking questions about Abby and Ty's 10 year old son? Why doesn't he look like his father? Was he adopted? Then the nanny quits and while with the neighbor a woman recognizes the neighbor as someone else and when Abby tries to touch base with her, the woman says leave me alone or else. This book was so good, the suspense! Loved loved this book and will seek out more from this author!

A super annoying couple imposes on the family of Ty and Abbie Rambally as a woman who calls herself Jenna asks upon first meeting "Who is the father of Lucas?", their oldest son. Abbie did what any parent would, and said "None of your business, now get out!" and spends her time obsessing over why her neighbors were acting so strangely. The truth of the matter is, they do not have good intentions and plan to do everything to ruin her family. The babysitter picks up on this and is quickly eliminated and conveniently replaced by someone these new neighbors recommend. The reader waits for something to happen to Lucas, and when it does, it's when they decide to send the kids on a summer vacation with their grandparents. How convenient? The morning they wake up to send the kids on a plane, Lucas is not in his room, nowhere to be found, so it's a race against time as they try to figure out who the Payne's really are and what happened to their son.

This book is packed with plenty of heart pounding scenarios as this family goes through a parent's worst nightmare. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, although it wasn't hard to figure out who Jenna really was. Her initial reactions to first seeing Lucas and her cringing at Abbie's reply to "Who is Lucas' real father"? I did not figure out the mastermind on my own though, and loved the element of surprise. What happened in the very ending I only considered okay. Overall, it was a good, fast paced read. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to review this book.

So annyoyed I had started it before realising it was part of a series! I would.of gone back and read them all first! This book was good! But honestly I struggled to get through it! There wasn't anything I necessarily hated about it, I just kept putting it down and lacked the want to pick it up! I wasn't hooked like most books of this genera!

Will give it ago again at some point!

I didn’t know it was part of a series because again, I blindly went through it. It was a suspenseful read with a lot of twists and turns that kept me thinking if I would’ve understood it better if I have read the first 2 books 🤦🏻‍♀️

But it’s still a good read because the characters are likeable enough and the plot is credible that will definitely keep you engaged and entertained.

The only thing I was a bit skeptical about was how “perfect” the family was.
It was like taken out straight from a fairytale where all the “bad people” are really evil and the “good people” are as good as saints. I mean, they’re just too perfect for my liking ✌🏻😅 but all in all, it was a good one. I’ll check out the other books from this author. .

Thanks NetGalley, the Publisher and author for the copy of this book.

Thanks to Netgalley for a preview of this week. It was a great and suspenseful read where the twists and turns kept coming. I always find it easier to get into a book if the characters are likeable and the plot is credible and the author succeeds greatly here. It will definitely keep you engaged and entertained. A book that should not be missed.

This is a well written thriller with many layers.

It starts off so well, a woman sees another woman taking photographs of children in a school yard.
Then some new neighbours introduce themselves to a family (who have 3 children) and something seems 'off' about them. They appear to show an unhealthy interest in the eldest child and their story of who they are just doesn't seem to stack up.
The nanny appears to also have reservations about the new neighbours, but, then she disappears.

This is book 3 in a series, but, can absolutely be read as a stand alone. It's a solid thriller, but, for me it was lacking something that I can't put my finger on. It just didn't fully grab me after the initial few chapters.
Having said that, if you're looking for an easy read that moves along well, has some good twists and turns and a satisfactory ending, this is the one for you.

A solid 3* Good Read from me.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the opportunity to preview in exchange for this honest review.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I started out really enjoying this book then about halfway through I fell out of love with it. I tried to finish it several times but could not get into it.

Very successful family, three children, shadows from the past, time to revenge.

Typical thriller, part of series Fearless but even if you didn't read previous books you'll catch the story.

Nothing special.

The well to-do couple Abby Rombally and her husband Ty are the proud parents of a ten year old boy and also 9 year old twins. Abby has been working on getting her doctorate for years and Ty is a thoracic surgeon whose medical skills are in great demand so they have a full time nanny (Olivia) who has taken care of the children for several years and is loved by the whole family. New neighbors have moved in across the street and the wife seems to have an unusual curiosity about Abby's oldest child. Why the special interest? From the first time Abby meets the couple she feels an immediate dislike for the wife (Jenna), she appears overly friendly and asks way too many questions and some of the questions are rude and intrusive for a complete stranger to ask. So Abby's instincts are raising a lot of red flags but she needs to know more about the people because she has many, many secrets of her own and she will do anything and everything to keep her and her family's secrets safe.
Who are these people? Just nosy new neighbors? Why is Abby so defensive about her past life? Soon after there will be a murder involving a loved one. Is there a connection to the neighbors or will it be connected to Abby's past history? All these questions and so much more will be answered but you will have to start reading this book.

This book was the third in a series and was a well-written and a very fast paced story. I found it interesting and entertaining but it was too implausible and far fetched for me. To be fair, it could have been because I should have read the first two books first to get more background on Abby even though this was a stand-alone story. I really enjoyed the children's characters. They were smart, saavy, fun and just adorable. The nanny, Olivia was a wonderful character as well but I didn't care for Abby's character. I found her selfish, annoying, whiney, arrogant, argumentative, condescending, unappreciative and I could keep going on and for someone who had everything good in her life she seemed to have endless complaints (imo). It just boils down to a matter of reading taste, because this just left me tasting sour notes instead of sweet ones. Keep in mind that these are my personal opinions because I noticed that I am in the minority and there are so many readers who loved this book and have given five stars.

I want to thank the publisher "Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op" and Netgalley for allowing the opportunity to read this story and any thoughts and opinions expressed are unbiased and mine alone!

I have given this book a rating of 3 Implausible 🌟🌟🌟 Stars!!
