Everyone Sully has ever loved has been killed. Sully's brother Drake has threatened Eleanor. So he will do whatever to get her off the island and far away from him. Even if he has to lie.
I am I love with this series and absolutely can not wait for the next book!! 5+⭐

This series is a must read for Pepper fans!
Pepper’s style of suspense and steam will have you turning the pages needing to know what happens next, yet not wanting it to ever end. I still have a love-hate relationship with Sully with his treatment of Eleanor. The plot twists of Sully’s brother, the traitor on his island, Eleanor’s resilience and Sully’s never ending magical medicines will keep you in suspense hoping for the good guy to be victorious! Need Fifth a Fury yesterday!

This series is a rollercoaster that only stops for a second then drags you backward until you back at the beginning. I fell in love with Sully and his parrots. I felt like I had held my breath for hours. When I figured out the twist. I was shocked to say the least. I do adore that Sully seemingly down and out, he has something in him that rises to the surface to protect Eleanor. That ending though... dang. I didn’t see that coming. I apparently never see what’s coming. Lol that is what makes her such a talented author. I will follow her words anywhere!

In this fourth book, Sully's despicable brother Drake finally made his way to the island intending to take everything from Sully, the island, the elixir, the goddesses and even Eleanor. From how the previous book went I had pretty much anticipated that something like this would happen but I wasn't prepared for the unslaught of it all, to be honest. There was a lot of fighting, people getting hurt and the ending makes me both crave and dread the next and final book. And yet I loved it all.

Sully and Eleanor... what can I say about these two characters that I haven't said before. They just have my heart. They both are exactly what the other one needs but of course it isn't that easy. It never is in a book by Pepper Winters. I've also come to really care for some of the secondary characters. Jealousy, who is one of Sully's goddesses but also his friend, especially is one I adore. I've even come to like Cal, who before I wasn't a fan of. It's just another talent of this author, making me care for more than just the two main characters that the story is about.

So after the ending of book three I knew this would be a very intense book and I was completely right. Everything happening in this book was much like Sully himself; merciless and unyielding. That's what made it such an incredible and thrilling read. It's no wonder that I finished this book in only two days. I really couldn't stop reading, it was such a good one!

Fourth a Lie was way more unpredictable, more dangerous, even more sensuall and erotic than I originally thought it would be. I mean, I knew it would be another great addition to the series because I've enjoyed all the previous books but this latest installment definitely kicked things up a notch and I was soooo there for it all!

Sully, Sully, Sully who are you really? Never a man confused me so much and made me feel a tsunami of emotions- I love him.
Seriously, this series gets better each and every time
I am so engrossed in the story of Sully and Eleanor that I cannot turn the pages quick enough.
The writing flows so well that I struggle to realise that this is just a story and its not real, because I often find myself so emerged into the story, its almost like I'm there feeling what they do feel. Pepper Winters is such a genius that BOOM it happens and you are speechless , flabbergasted and in awe!!
I need the next book but I don’t want it to end!!

I went through so many emotions in this book and i had this weird mix of i couldn't stop reading but also struggling to read it.
I felt so much hate for one character it was like choking me with it.
That ending though!

If your looking at this book, then you more than likely have read the previous 3? So your up to date on the sizzling attraction and passion between Sully and Eleanor? The heart-shattering tragedy behind Sully's story? The fire in Eleanor to go after what she wants, which is Sully? The Goddess Isles were the story is based? The fact that there's a traitor? Well people, you ain't seen nothing yet!!! This is pure action from start to finish - for several hours my heart was in my mouth! What is going on? How can this happen? How are they going to...? Somebody please freaking help me out? And it just keeps coming 😲!!

An excellent sexy captivating story of love, betrayal, passion, determination and the downright need for one another - it was truly amazing and although I am excited (and nervous!) for the final book, I don't want this series to end! Superb!

Fourth A Lie is the darkest book yet in the electrifying and seductive Goddess Isles Series. This fourth novel had me gasping for air from all the dramatic twists and turns. Now that Sully and Eleanor's true feelings are in the open, there's threats planning over their happily ever after making their relationship chaotic once again, but for new sinister reasons.

I was once again hooked on this couple’s fate that isn’t an easy journey. The author’s stunning prose only intensifies all the feels I got to experience throughout this story. I was attacked by a rush of adrenaline from all the action happening on the island not so paradisiac anymore. I was also hurting so bad from the tragic decisions Sully and Eleanor are faced with. I was inspired by the bravery our fierce heroine demonstrates, only validating her deep-rooted feelings for her man. Sully is imperious, but shows a vulnerable side he haven’t displayed yet in the series.

This idyllic world is now tainted by pure cruelty, but Sully and Eleanor’s love shines through this new darkness. Their profound emotional connection and vivid attraction only lead to some moments of carnal passion so combusting! They’re pure fire!

Fourth A Lie was another masterpiece I couldn’t put down. I’m anxious for the final installment of the series with that cliffhanger that left me stunned. Fifth a Fury can’t release soon enough!

A-maz-ing!
I’ve said it before and I feel it’s fitting here,
but this series just keeps getting better. In this installment the author kicked it up a notch with the perfect blend of steam and angst.
The writing was strong, vivid and emotional. Sully and Eleanor’s story continues to evolve and develop and what I learned about them especially Sully had me swooning heavy duty.
The ending was just jaw dropping, and excited with what direction the story is going to take in book 5!

15% into the book and my heart is breaking! Literally feels like it’s being torn in half as I sit and force myself to continue on!
28% tigress emerges. DAMN!
37% the doctor? Pika? Calvin?
50% oh crap!
The end.....sobbing mess!

This was yet another attempt of Pepper Winters to eviscerate my heart and mind. Just when things are at what you could assume is the lowest...it can and does get lower. Fighting for what you want and what you believe in Eleanor emerges as a Tigress queen in my opinion. But the something sinister steps into play and terrorizes the lot. Death, betrayal and decay are what left. It also has me quite concerned for what happens in the end.
PSA: no happy ending, lunatics, helicopter stunt devils, sweet birds

WOW ! This book by far is the best one in this series I thought the last one was , nope ! Not even close ! This story is so gripping and raw I immediately lost myself in this world of Goddess Isles once again and I LOVED every second of it ! This story is so intense and captivating a very jaw dropping omg read ! This book had my poor heart pounding against my rib cage so hard especially at the end ! Expect the unexpected and one hell of a twist ! Definite must read and definite 5 stars from me !

With every book in the series I ask myself how much more Pepper can put her characters and readers through, the answer of course is her capacity for torture is unlimited.
The emotional turmoil and angst are in every word and interaction. Sully and Eleanor have me in their grip. This one felt even more powerful because Sully is on the brink now he's not just battling his feelings but the evil that has come to his islands. The ending came far too soon for me and that ending just made me need book five now.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! I thought book 3 had ripped by heart out, I was not in any way prepared for what I just finished reading. I literally couldn't read fast enough or put the books down because I had to know what happened. Dark, delicious and devious is what I would call Pepper Winters writing in this book. This series is wonderful, incredible, heartbreaking, healing the list of words is endless in my opinion. I cannot wait to see how in the world this series concludes in book 5 and what deliciously twisted stuff the author has up her sleeve for us all.

Honestly book #4, Fourth a Lie reads like a movie. It is nonstop action, anxiety-provoking, suspense driven amazement. Sully and Eleanor are both fierce in this book in their resolve, loyalty and above all their love for each other. Pepper has written a truly despicable character in Sully's brother Drake who has absolutely no, none, redeemable qualities. The experience of reading this book is truly exceptional and will have you falling even deeper in love with Sully and be more amazed at Eleanor's strength. The cliff hanger is another big one but sets the bar high for what I know will be an epic conclusion to this incredible series. I can't wait for Fifth a Fury. You definitely want Fourth a Lie to be your next 1 click!!!

Eleanor and Sully are back. This time around he is trying to push her away with everything he has. She is trying to hold tight. They are thrown a curve and must quickly adapt. Sully is at his weakest and most vulnerable. Eleanor must fight for everything she holds dear. Drake makes a return with a bloody splash. Lots of twists and turns and it ends on the mother of all cliffhangers.

I have no words.....I am in complete AWWW of this story. Pepper Winters has proven once again that she is the master of writing dark romance!

Fourth a Lie is something special. Jinx has proven time and time again how fearless she is. Nothing will stop her from getting what she wants. She is one stubborn woman and I absolutely adored that about her. She was relentless and was going after what she wanted regardless of the dangers she was putting herself in.

This has proven to Sully that Jinx (Elenor) is definitely the woman for him. She has proven to him time and time again that she will stop at nothing and will continue to fight for their love. She doesn't care if he continues to push her away, she will continue to push back.

The storyline itself had me in pins and needles. I am pretty stoked to find out what the conclusion is going to be for these two lovebirds, what's going to happen with Goddess Isles and especially what's going to happen with Drake (the evil snake)!

Another amazingly 5 Star read!

Fourth a Lie is the book we have all been waiting for where all things come to ahead between Sully, Drake and Eleanor Grace. Things become very volatile as Drake invades Sully's paradise while trying to claim everything he owns including Eleanor.
This was a very fast paced part of the story to read, it contains real edge of your seat stuff, leaving you reeling and feeling so drained from all the trauma and drama that the characters are put through. This has been an amazing series and I can not wait to read the last instalment as we were left with one hell of a cliffhanger at the end of this book.

This is book four in this amazing series and what a series it is. Just when you think it is safe Pepper adds more sharks to the mix. Sully and Eleanor have such a strong connection and chemistry between them that you can feel it coming off the page's and yet the darkness and the danger just keeps coming. I can't believe what I am reading in this book it just about breaks you apart and has you feeling a rollercoaster of emotions and you know it will not be the end. Peppers cliff hangers are her signature moves of all times then you have to wait for the next book. This book is a real page turner and you keep turning to see what happens next only to be put through the wringer yet again and you feel everything and it is so addictive. Pepper Winters really knows how to keep her readers enthralled even though we are four books in and that just shows what an incredible author and writer she is and as usual a ending that you definitely did not yet should have expected. I can't believe the next book is the final one in this series and I can't wait to read it. I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will definitely not be disappointed.

i swear this series just keeps getting better and better every time the new book comes out! this is the fourth book in the goddess isles series by pepper and i swear i can't get enough of this series!

this one definitely had some thrills and once you start reading you get completely sucked in! i literally couldn't put it down. if i thought the third book had me a mess.... well let's just say that pepper did not hold back in this one!

i was NOT READY for this book at all!!!! i was an emotional mess in some parts but it's so good that i just had to suck it up and continue because i was dying for more!

it's intense and intriguing and these characters will grip your heart and never let go. you will totally get sucked into Sully and Eleanor's world and never want to leave it.

this is another 5 deliciously dark and emotional stars for pepper winters and i cannot wait for the next book!
