Thanks for the advance copy of the Three Mrs. Wrights. I was drawn into this book from the start! It’s pretty clear that three women are in love with the same man, in different stages of their relationship. I was frustrated however in how little “power” these women had for themself and how easily at least two of them trusted and believed this man. How dutiful they were to his explanations wasn’t a great example of writing string woman characters. One “wife” however began to push back to uncover the truth ultimately saving them all. Disappointed again however to come to an ending with parts of the story line left hanging??? I would definitely read another book from the author, fast paced and moves along well but hopeful for a wrapped up conclusion next time!

I struggled with the beginning of this book - it seemed that there were three stories being played out without relevance to each other. BUT, I persevered until there were hints where the stories began to interlink with each other. After much confusion, I began to figure out who was who and what part each person played to the overall story.
Nevertheless, the story only really began to interest me towards the end of the book - perhaps I had lost interest when I couldn't figure out what was happening.
Linda Keir provides a great twist at the end and I actually began to root for the three female characters.

When I read the description for this book, I was all in! Mr. Wright uses his charm and good looks to deceive three smart, intelligent, and ambitious women. And therein lies his mistake. These ladies are having none of it and Linda Keir (pen name for two authors that co-wrote this) tells their story in such an interesting way. Usually I get lost in books with multiple viewpoints, but this novel kept it well strung together and interesting from the get go. I was hoping for a more satisfying ending, but all in all an entertaining read! We learn that Mr. Wright uses multiple different versions of his given names and different versions of stories with each of the Three Mrs. Wrights and the reader gets to watch his wicked web unravel lie after lie.

Fun chick lit about a man involved with three different women. Told from the women's perspectives, alternately, with a very satisfying conclusion.

When I started reading this book,I imagined 3 women fighting for a husband. I was impressed by the cover and curious about the title.
The first pages in Lark's story were so fast for me.
Each women namely Lark,Jessica and Holly has chapters in the book where their stories begins and continues.
If you can mind a bit of foul language in this book,then fine although I was uncomfortable personally with the language usage.
Funnily enough, each women are in love with the same man but he is known to them separately with different names,occupations and lives. I wanted to see how they accepted or handled the situations.
This is an action packed book that makes you wonder why the same man lived three lives to three different women.

Mr. Wright is quite a character.

I was initially drawn to, and intrigued by this book, not only because its a mystery of sorts (which is of course one of the main factors) but also because of the cover. There’s something very gossip girl-ish, circa novel #1, isn’t there? And I lovelovelove Gossip Girl! (Ah, the nostalgia) This cover also made me want to drink an extra dirty martini (with extra olives please) while reading it, but seeing as how I rarely ever drink, I settled for my main vice-an extra strong cup of coffee.

But anyways.

Aside from the cover, I was also very intrigued by the synopsis of this book, so altogether, I felt this had all the makings for a very juicy, very suspenseful ride, and it didn’t disappoint.

While I can’t lie and say that this was the best book that i’ve read, I will say that I did very much enjoy this novel, and read it in less than a day. It was certainly a page turner, and I only stopped reading when it was necessary to do so. (and when I needed refills on my coffee.)

This book is chock full of manipulation and deceit, and was just downright exhausting at times-but in a good way.

The reasoning behind it being so deceitful and exhausting? The premise of the story revolves around a man, who goes by many different names- Jon/Jack/Trip-and he does so in order to keep his different wives/fiancees from discovering the truth about each other and what he is up to.

Each chapter of this book is dedicated to a love interest of either Jonathan/Jack/Trip.

Jack, a medical doctor and an entrepreneur who started a medical tech company to detect cancer at the earliest stage possible, is married to Holly, a pediatrician, and they have been married for years. They have children together, and are a normal couple and a seemingly happy family, nothing out of the normal with the exception that Jack travels a lot.

Jon is with Jessica and has even proposed to her, and has offered her a job at his medical tech company. She had been offered a fellowship at Duke, but decides to instead accept Jon’s offer in order to further her medical career. Jessica up and changes her life and moves to Chicago to be with Jon, not just to work with him, but also to start her life engaged to him, thinking that he is separated from his insane and out of control wife and in the process of getting a divorce from her. Neither of these things that he has told her are true though.

Lark, who is from LA, ends up with Trip after having a one night stand with him. Not only does he offer to invest in her start up business, but they end up engaged as well.

Eventually all lies unravel, paths intertwine, Truths are revealed, and everything comes to a very satisfy and stunning conclusion!

This was such a page turner and I was thoroughly invested the entire way through!

Wow! what a great book. This book takes us on the journey of what it is like to be married to a polygamous husband... only you don't know he is polygamous. I enjoyed hearing the perspective of the three wives and the husband's eventual undoing. Highly recommend!

While the plot seems very similar to the Cameron Diaz movie with basically the same plot, The Three Mrs. Wrights is a page turner that has a very satisfying ending. The book moves quickly and the three Mrs. Wrights end up right where we want them to be. This book is definitely worth your time.

I truly enjoyed this read! It gave me The Other Woman vibes but with a unique twist. I really enjoyed how each chapter was from a different point of view of either Holly, Lark, or Jessica and how each character was strong and smart in different ways. The varying points of view really emphasized his deceit across the three relationships. The only reason I couldn't rate it higher is that I wished the three women had met each other sooner. Each character's story comes to a happy end highlighting female empowerment against the man who tried to lie to them all.

The story Is about a rich man and how he manages to charm and manipulate three women including his wife. However, as the story progresses, he is exposed for who and what he really is. I love the characters of Holly, Jessica and Lark. They are all so different and I love the way the authors integrates them towards the end of the book. This is a great read! Loved it!

I read this in 2 days. Enjoyable book with good character development and story line. It wasn't particularly groundbreaking so I didn't give it 5 stars but I would recommend it to others.

My main complaint with this book is that I wish the three Mrs. Wright's had met sooner. The first half of the book was very repetitive, albeit it easy to read. The book became interesting for me when the worlds of the three women begin to intertwine - it was there that the book really shined. Aside from that it just read as three strong, yet mildly pathetic, women who had hitched themselves to a man after minimal interaction with him. An easy , fluffy beach read at best.

There are three main female characters and each chapter is told from their viewpoint.Towards the last half of the book their story lines start to overlap as they find out how their lives are connected. I really enjoyed this book and couldn't wait to see how they all got out of the mess they were in.

This was a real page-turner, I had to keep reading to find out what happened in the end, and if Mr Wright got his comeuppance!

Jon/Jack/Trip is the same guy involved with three different woman, married to one for 20 years, none of whom know about each other and think they're the only one - to start with.

Quite how he managed to juggle all three women, spinning tales about where he was, keeping some information more or less the same, but embellishing on other details, is beyond me!  But of course eventually things start to overlap/unravel, with his wife especially suspecting he's up to his old tricks, as this isn't the first time he's played away.

I loved the way the book was written in alternating chapters with each woman, some overlapping when he has a close call, and although it sounds as if it should be confusing to read it was actually very well laid out and easy to flip between each character and who Jon/Jack/Trip was to them.

The three women were very clever women, all either established in their careers or well on the way to being, but I think I would have questioned things more myself, some things were a bit too good to be true, which obviously turned out to be the case.  They were too trusting of someone they hadn't actually known that long, well apart from Holly, the wife, who probably turned a bit of a blind eye initially.

A very enjoyable read with a really satisfying ending.  This was my first Linda Keir book but I would definitely look out for any others now.

This book gave me all the "John Tucker Must Die" vibes, and I LOVED it! This novel is told from different perspectives which gave me as a reader a deeper look into the lives of the characters. One man lives three different lives with three different women, until the women grow wise on his lies. I loved the underlying tone of female empowerment as well. This book was a stunner - not only will I recommend it to friends, I already have before I even finished it! It was a whirlwind and a perfect weekend book - I couldn't put it down. Just as the book blurb says, we get to meet three smart, successful, and tough women all that got roped into a bad situation by the same man. I really appreciated how each woman had her own strengths and none of them were drawn as silly, weak, or lame. As each chapter unfolds, I kept getting drawn in more and more. Five wonderful stars. I found myself glued to this book and didn’t want to put it down. It was a light, quick read, that I, unfortunately, could relate to in some aspects. I enjoyed the book being written in the different perspectives and loved how it all came together.
Lark meets Trip Mitchell at a hotel bar and they enjoy a whirlwind day before going their separate ways. It’s not long before Trip goes out to visit Lark and their relationship grows.
Jessica meets Jonathan Wright III after attending his lecture. Their connection is undeniable and Jessica finds herself withdrawing her fellowship from Duke and heading to Chicago to live and work for Jonathan.
Holly has been married to Jack for 19 years. They have three children together and rarely have time to focus on their relationship.

As Holly begins to uncover the truth about Jack she comes up with a plan and enlists Jessica’s help and eventually Lark’s. This leads to a great and entertaining ending!

The plot of The Three Mrs. Wrights is so good! I could not put this book down because I wanted to see how it ended... and I was not disappointed!!

"'We thought we wanted to be Mrs. Wright, but here's to being wrong.'" Y'all, I LOVED this book. As an engaged woman, The Three Mrs. Wrights had me constantly turning to my fiancé to say "You better not have any alter-egos or secret wives!"
What drew me in right from the beginning is that the female characters are strong, well-developed, and like-able. I found myself deeply empathizing with them as each of their stories progressed. At the beginning of each chapter, there's a teaser line from a TedTalk by "Jon M. Wright" which I thought was a unique and intelligent way to give the reader insight into the mind of this man who, while deeply unlikeable, is clearly charming, charismatic, and brilliant. I truly could not put this book down and finished it in less than two days - I couldn't wait to get to the ending, which was sweet and satisfying.
Really, the only reason I'm not giving this one 5 stars is the believability factor, as it is an absolutely absurd story. Especially given that the three female protagonists of this story are intelligent, successful feminists, I have a hard time believing that they could be so fooled and deceived. If you can get past the slightly far-fetched nature of the story, you are bound to love The Three Mrs. Wrights, available to the public on September 29th 2020!
