I really wanted to like this book, however I just couldn't connect with the characters and it just didn't grip me.

A haunting, tangled tale of three women who thought they'd found love and the man who duped all of them. From the shifting points of view to the racing, tense pace, this book offered surprises with each turn of the page.

I absolutely loved this book.

Lark, Jessica and Holly are all involved with one deceptively charming man, Mr. Wright. Lark is a board game designer. Jessica is a smart medic with an offer for a residency with a highly reputable institution. Holly is a pediatrician and philanthropist. All of them are smart, successful and beautiful and it is easy to wonder how they could have been taken in by such a despicable smooth talker. However, as the story unraveled, I could understand the madness and whirlwind romance that Mr. Wright took them on. I couldn’t wait for his lies to be exposed.

This is a very compelling read. Narrated from the perspectives of the three women, it portrays the different relationships that they had with Mr. Wright. I kept wondering what his motives were. He was rich, intelligent and … not young. He had already hit the jackpot with a wonderful wife and three children. So why did he need to lie and string along so many women?

The story begins by introducing us to the women and their link to Mr. Wright. It builds up gradually until Wright’s carefully constructed deceptions start falling like dominoes. I was at the edge of my seat as I waited for the women to wise up and was even more curious to see what they would do afterwards. Oooh, the revenge was juicy!

This was such a fun, entertaining read. I was hooked from the first to the last page and didn’t want the narrative to end. I wish there was more of the story told from Mr. Wright’s perspective so that I could get a sneak peek into his twisted mind. Nevertheless, I utterly enjoyed the women’s narrative.

LOVE THIS BOOK! Mid divorce - I needed a book where the man is evil and this one fit the bill. Love the development and differences of the women and the ending was terrific!

This book kept me on my toes the entire time! The Three Mrs. Wrights was a new take on the affair-ridden relationship. Set in several locations and following several voices, this book was gripping, suspenseful, and a quick read. It is one of my favorite drama books of the year!

While the premise of this book is terrible (man with three different relationships, as three different people), I found myself sucked into the story from the beginning. While I hated Jon/Jack/Trip, I also could not help to keep reading to figure out more. I loved the females characters and enjoyed them telling their stories. I wish I could have also had Jon/Jack/Trip's point of view on some things, but at the same time I like how the author kept it focused on the women's stories. This book was like a soap opera on paper and I loved it.

Going into this book blind was an amazing choice. I knew nothing about this book but reading it with no expectation was the best way to go.

I love the concept of how the characters are grouped together and the outcome was so really good. I loved each lady’s POV but would loved to have seen some with Jon.

The name is Jonathan....Jonathan Wright...Ohhh when Mr. Wright turns out to be oh so wrong! I loved the title of this book, the underlying play on words......however this was a really, really slow burn of a book.

Johnathan Wright has it all...power, money, good looks...a wife....or so...I am not sure how on earth he had time for everything he was doing. When on earth did this guy sleep?!

I really wanted to love this book, yet it was hard to connect with the characters. You have three girls that were nice enough but yet we didn't really get much character development. I really didn't care who was getting cheated on....

However, I have had some friends that really enjoyed this one, so maybe it is a "me" thing. Whatever the case, Mr. Wright was not the right match for me!

I received this book "The Three Mrs Wrights" from NetGalley and all opinions expressed are my own. Oh what a tangled web we weave... so this was an interesting book and you really have no idea what is going to happen next. A page turner for sure. Although some of the story was a bit unbelievable, it was fast paced and an interesting read.

Jonathan M. Wright aka Jon aka Jack aka Trip is a womanizer and compulsive liar who appears to have it all. Holly, Jessica and Lark are 3 extraordinary women taken in by his charm. He weaves a massive web of lies and as a reader we get to see it unravel. The book changes narrators between the three women and Jonathan. It is interesting to see the various points of views.

Having encountered a compulsive liar (or two!) in my past, I found it maddening to read Jon's lies and understood how the women could believe him or explain away any inconsistencies. He seemed so likeable and outgoing and somehow made each woman feel like she was the only woman in the world, and who wouldn't want that feeling?

I think this book is classified as a thriller but it's definitely not a typical thriller. I recommend this for anyone looking for an exciting page turner.

4.5/5 rounded up to 5.

Thank you to Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley for the eGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.

For me, The Three Mrs. Wrights by Linda Keir has a promising synopsis.

It is clear that the author can really tell a story as I found the novel intriguing and compelling, and I was fully invested in the outcome of the characters. Told from the perspectives of three women, Lark, Jessica, and Holly, each had their own pieces of the jigsaw. They were independent, strong, and intelligent women who were easy to like.

Rich and successful businessman and an adorer of women, Jonathan Mitchell Wright III had a different name, Trip, Jon or Jack depending on who you were. Married to Holly for twenty years as Jack, he was also married to Jessica as Jon, and Lark was engaged to him as Trip.

Set in different areas including Chicago and Buffalo, New York, the story was great but became even better once the women discovered each other’s existences. The Three Mrs. Wrights was wickedly deceitful, gripping, and intense. The short, concise chapters made for a quick read and the final showdown was executed brilliantly. It was an absolute treat to read The Three Mrs. Wrights.

All in all a great, juicy and compulsive story with a supreme ending.

I received a complimentary copy of this novel at my request from Lake Union Publishing via NetGalley. This review is my own unbiased opinion.

Three ladies who love the same man. He is Jonathan Mitchell Wright III who is wealthy and has a gift of gab a mile long. He has been married to Holly for 17 years and they have three children. Both Holly and Jack, as she calls him, are doctors. He meets Jessica who is also a doctor and convinces her to come to Chicago to work for him with his company. His company, Cancura is making a pill children can chew and it will detect cancer. Lark he meets when she is on a business trip to sell her game that she has invented. She lives in L.A. He helps her get her company off the ground. The story takes us through how he manages to keep them separate from each other for quite awhile but then as all good things do they find out about each other. Interesting how they resolve their situation with this man who they each think is their great love.

My first netgalley review that is five stars that isn’t a nonfiction title!! Exciting, exciting!🥳

Lark is an entrepreneur who has created a board game, who finally has an offer, and happens to fall in love with the man named, his name being Trip. Jessica is a doctor who is working to find the cure for cancer with her boss and lover, who has the name Jon. Holly has been married and has three children with her husband, who has the name Jack. But what if the women have something in common that they thought was irreplaceable? What if Trip, Jon, and Jack were the same man?😨

So when I requested this book, I actually thought it was a historical drama. Boy was I wrong. This book gave me sooooo much anxiety, which is a good thing, considering it’s marketed as a thriller. I do think the description of thriller is a little bit of a stretch, no real mystery takes place other than the question of who really is this man that is courting all three women, but I will give the marketing team the benefit of the doubt on it. Another thing I would like to add is that even though I love multiple POV’s, but not in thriller cases, however with this book, I adored every single perspective, and enjoyed every small detail the author put in. I loved the drama, as well as the juicy scenes that took place. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a little more out of their usual literary fiction novel, and I cannot wait until I can read more by this author.🤩

This book was an escape read for me; a page turner that did not require deep thought. The premise was interesting and pieces of the book read like a thriller. As you may have guessed by the title, the three "Mrs. Wrights" all become entangled with the same man. However, he is known by a different name for each woman. You will need to read a copy of this book to discover what happens to this particular man and to each of the women. I will say that it was a bit of an adventure. Thank you to NetGalley, Lake Union Publishing and the authors for the complimentary e-galley of this book in exchange for an honest review.⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 out of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #bookstagrammer #bookreviewer #thethreemrswrights #lindakeir #netgalley #goodreads #lakeunionpublishing #booksandmrdarcy #withhernosestuckinabook❤️📚

Quick thriller. Author brings 3 different stories together until they intersect as one, giving a suitable but not too surprising, yet satisfying, end. Character driven, with a charismatic male thinking he’s the smartest person in the room until he isn’t. Three intelligent women, duped and played, finally wake up and take control.

Enjoyed how the 3 women’s stories coincide, and finally converge. Fast paced enough to keep the story flowing and the reader interested. Fun read, curl up on a cozy chair with a thick blanket and a favorite drink! Looking forward to reading this author again.

Thanks to Ms. Keir, Lake Union Publishing (my favorite) and NetGalley for this ARC. Opinion is mine alone.

Thank you Netgalley for a copy for a fair an honest review. This book would make a great miniseries like Little Big Lies. The husband narcissist and totally unlikable but I found myself rooting for all the women especially Holly.

This book surprised me. By the description, I thought the majority of this book would be the three women plotting revenge against Mr. Wright, but they don't find out each other until much later than I expected. That said, it was still a really good and interesting read, even if the set up was a bit long.

Not quite a thriller, more a romance, the story of Jonathan Mitchell Wright III involves three women. Holly is his wife, mother to his three kids and a doctor. To Holly, he is Jack, a successful entrepreneur, who she believes is cheating on her. Jessica just finished Med school when she meets Jon; he hires her to join his biomed tech company. Then there is Lark, who meets Jack/Jon/Trip while on a business trip. From the title, you know what is going to happen, but how it all unravels is done well. I would not not necessarily recommend this book, which lacks the depth in characters and story line I like to read. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
