good book. I loved the interaction between all the characters. I wished there was a little more backstory for new readers to help connect the characters but all in all I enjoyed it.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Romance combined with the paranormal is always a favorite of mine. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

I do love Abigail Owen's books and Bait N'Witch is no exception. This is the third in the Brimstone series and picks up the story of Rowen, the witch that was forced to act against the wolves in the first book. You wouldn't have had to read either of the previous books to enjoy this one, although they are linked and the characters do pop up again here, this works fine as a standalone too.
I liked both Rowan and Greyson. They suited each other well and I liked the way that she brought out the best in him, even though they weren't willing to fully trust one another to begin with, it's clear that there's something between them from the start.
The only thing that I didn't like about this book was that it could just have been a little bit longer. There were one or two things that I couldn't help but feel hadn't been fully addressed. (I don't want to give any spoilers away, but there were things that happened that were just accepted, I wanted to know more.) More than anything, I just wasn't quite ready to leave Rowan and Greyson by the end of the story, but I suppose that the aim of all authors, leaving us wanting more?
I don't know if there's more to come in the Brimstone Inc series or not, I'd certainly be keen to read more.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Rowan is more than a witch, her powers are numerous and strong, which is what got her into trouble in the first place. Having been raised by a demon she’s unfamiliar with the rules of being a witch but being a “regular” witch is what’s going to save her. She decides to hide in plain sight and takes a job as a nanny to thirteen year old triplets who’s father Greyson is unknowingly looking for Rowan. As a hunter and high ranking warlock Greyson is as by the book as one can be but Rowan’s “Mary Poppins” attitude throws all their lives for a whirl and Greyson learns that maybe unwinding a bit and having fun could be the answer they’re all looking for. Their relationship is a slow burn with more of a friendship at first, but along the way they can’t deny their attraction. This book has a mix of humor, heat, action and a twist of the paranormal making it a nice quick read (I couldn’t put it down). This is book two in the series and while it is an individual book to really understand you should read book one. 5 stars. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

In the first book of this series, Rowan McAuliffe was forced to do some pretty horrible things for a werewolf including trying to kill the main characters of that book and the second. So the Mage High Council has sent a Witch Hunter after her. The mysterious Delilah sends Rowan to the witch hunter's house so that she can hide right under his nose while she plays nanny to his magical triplets.
For a shorter book (novella-sized?) there was a lot packed in. This book could have been better served by making it a bit longer and writing more about some of the connections. There are a lot of things that are explained by "Well... because magic." Why Rowan was tied to the werewolf in the first place, more about the triplet's magic. Major parts of the story were explained with one or two sentences instead of paragraphs or even chapters. It was fast, fun, and fluffy and can be enjoyable if you don't mind major plot points being skipped over. If you can get it for the advertised price of $0.99 it is definitely worth it.

Two and a half stars

Seven hells and fairy bells! This is one awesome book! A love story between a mage and a witch - an Aneval to be exact.. For those who don't know what an Aneval is, they are a particular kind of witch who can talk to animals but can be controlled/manipulated by werewolves and shapeshifters. Which brings us to Rowan McAuliffe, an aneval who was captured by a powerful werewolf and was forced to do things against her will. Then we have Greyson Masters. head witch hunter of the Coven Syndicate and father of 3 identical triplets who have their own special powers. Rowan was sent to the home of Greyson to pose as a nanny for the 3 girls to throw Greyson off her scent ( hide in plain site so to speak). As soon as they meet, there is instant attraction between this couple which you actually feel. Their chemistry is so strong that you find yourself actually yelling "get it on already!!"
There's a lot of witchery stuff going on in this story and I am so sure that people will love this story. I only wish Ms. Owen could have given us an extended epilogue and given us a glimpse on what life was going to be like with the family a couple of months after the investigation.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Rowan is a witch in hiding. She was secretly trained and then forced to do terrible magic against her will. Now she’s being hunted and she’s sure her actions, even though she couldn’t control them, will lead to a death sentence.

Greyson is a hunter for the Covens Syndicate and he’s been coming up against dead ends in his hunt for Rowan. No one returns his calls and he can find no trace of her.

Rowan hides in plain sight as the new nanny for Greyson’s triplet daughters. Preteen witches that need some serious guidance were an awesome part of the book.

As Rowan works to stall the investigation, she and Greyson grow closer and both of them start to trust the other.

This was the third book in this series, but can be read as a stand alone novel, but I totally want to go back and read the first two.

I adored this book. There were sweet moments and funny moments. The world building was great - just enough to know what was going on. I loved the three girls too. I was rooting for Greyson and Rowan to get past all the secrets.

OMG, I loved this book! Fun and entertaining, the author drew me right into the world of witchcraft that she created. Rowan is a wonderful character that made me care about her and her circumstances. Add in the mysterious Grey plus his triplets, and I couldn't put this book down.

If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. I felt invested in the characters and their story and found myself wanting them to get their HEA ending. The author is one of my favorites and this book is why. Put it at the top of your TBR list.
