***Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
I enjoyed this book of short stories and I felt like it could serve a very important purpose for those with anxiety.

This book is everything hygge I need it to be. It really does help put me to sleep and calm my mind- not because it's boring but because I can imagine myself in the story and I then get lost in thought. I also started putting the author's podcast on my iPad, but I honestly prefer using the book to fall asleep when I am having trouble.

I've been a fan of the author's podcast by the same name since soon after it started, and it's been a big help for my insomniac tendencies. This book is just as lovely as the podcast. The stories are indeed cozy and calming and sometimes a bit nostalgic or magical. The illustrations reflect this feeling perfectly. I received a digital ARC from NetGalley, but I loved the book so much that I pre-ordered a copy and it has taken up permanent residence on my nightstand.

I absolutely love this podcast, and it has saved me from many sleepless nights, so I knew I'd have to read the book! So many excellent stories, tips for sleep, and little tidbits kept me enjoying myself without getting too excited (which is exactly the mood you want before bed). While I can't help but prefer the audio aspect of the podcast, I can absolutely see how there's a place for this book in the sleep-help world.

Based on a podcast, this book is filled with short stories to help you relax.

All of these short stories were just wonderful. I found them peaceful to read not only before bed but in times I felt like I needed a little break during the day. Nothing Much Happens, was so soothing to read.

I highly recommend this to anyone who would enjoy a short and sweet story before bed.
