Great thriller that kept me turning the pages. Great story, great writing and characters. Really enjoyable and would read this author again.

I really wanted to like this book. The description sounded so very good. But it was just too slow moving for me.

A somewhat wildly implausible but entertaining story of a fortuitous prison escapee who is picked up by an Irish academic and escapes to Canada! Seriously injured at the start and treated by a vet on the road to non ultimate punishment Canada the unlikely escape is achieved! The vet falls in love with the convict and the road to his rehabilitation is the main thrust of the tale with the sacrificial attitude of the Irishman to the fore. Full of stock dodgy political characters it’s a fun read!
