Evergreen Love by Amy Clipston - I love this story and reading about Ryan and Loren. One story that sometimes we misunderstand why things have happened and jump to conclusions but second chances do happen.
Holiday of Hope by Kelly Irvin - This story tugged at my heart and had me cheering Henry and Leesa. When a child loses faith in God can Leesa and Henry change the childs view and maybe have some holiday cheer for themselves too
Wreathed in Joy by Kathleen Fuller - Teaches us that time makes the heart grow founder and new joy comes to those who wait.
A Christmas Prayer by Vannetta Chapman - Sometimes love finds us even if we are older and The Christmas season brings family and a few surprises.

You will not be disappointed with any stories in this book. The authors have brought the holiday season to life and endeared the characters to my heart. Wonderfully written and a joy to read.
The opinion is my own and I am under no obligation to give a positive review.

An Amish Christmas Wedding is a collection of four novellas; each one with its own special story, but all with a Christmas theme.

Evergreen Love tells Ryan and Lorene's story. When they're forced to reunite after avoiding each other for years, they learn that sometimes love is worth giving a second chance.

In Holiday of Hope, a young widower, Henry, and a rejected schoolteacher, Leesa, come together to help an orphaned child find his place in the world.

Wreathed in Joy introduces us to longtime friends, Mary and Jakob, as they decide to give their relationship another try after an awkward reunion.

A Christmas Prayer reminds us that it's never too late to find love, as we follow the story of sixty-year-old Micah and fifty-six-year-old Rachel.

Each of these stories was unique in their own way, and I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the final novella in the collection, as I don't often read novels featuring older couples.

If you enjoy Amish fiction, or if you just love a good inspirational Christmas story, you won't want to miss An Amish Christmas Wedding!

An Amish Christmas Wedding contains four delightful and heartwarming Amish stories from Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller, Kelly Irvin, and Vannetta Chapman. I found all of them to be well-written with steady pacing and charming characters. There are lovely themes in each book. Love, hope, grace, faith, and second chances are just a few of them. I enjoyed reading about the Amish Christmas traditions where they focus more on God and family than on material things. Of course, I just loved the Christmas weddings. It is a magical time of year to get married. I enjoyed all four stories, but I admit that my favorite was A Christmas Prayer by Vannetta Chapman. I liked the older main characters and that sweet dog. An Amish Christmas Wedding is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. It got my mind off stressful situations. It provided me with peace and the hope that love might find me yet. We need more clean, wholesome stories like these. An Amish Christmas Wedding has put me in the mood for Christmas (I have been humming Christmas carols all day). An Amish Christmas Wedding contains four sweet Amish stories from four talented female writers.

An Amish Christmas Wedding is a compilation of four Amish stories, written by four different authors.

Evergreen Love by Amy Clipston, Ryan and Lorene were engaged to be married but broke up. Now years later their siblings are getting married and they are pulled together for the event. Ryan finally explains to Lorene the reason he did not build a house for them.

Holiday of Hope by Kelly Irvin, Henry is now caring for his friends 10 year old son, Tommy. Tommy struggles with getting along and causes trouble in school. Together Henry and the teacher, Leesa, work to help Tommy.

Wreathed in Joy by Kathleen Fuller, Mary and Jakob did not work out as a couple. Now a year later, Mary has committed to making a friends wedding cakes but when she gets injured, Jakob is there to help her.

A Christmas Prayer by Vannetta Chapman, Micah is a widower that runs an Amish Touring Company that allows the English to learn more about the Amish. Rachel’s home is on the tour. She has never married and cared for her parents until their deaths. Now she is all alone with no known extended family.

I enjoyed reading these short stories. These are all easy to read, good clean stories of second chance loves that are just the right length to read in an evening. There are good messages shared in each of the stories. In Evergreen Love, we see the importance of communication and honesty. In Holiday of Hope, we see the generosity towards a young orphaned boy. In Wreathed in Joy we see the caring between friends. In A Christmas Prayer, we see lonely people reaching out to others.

I received an ebook copy of this book from Zondervan, NetGalley and Celebrate Lit. This is my honest review.

An Amish Christmas Wedding is a collection of four novellas centered around romance and Christmas. Written by four authors,(by Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller, Kelly Irvin, & Vannetta Chapman) each story is different, yet they each focus on the beauty of hope, second chances, and love. The characters are charming and are people I'd like to be friends with. The stories are quick reads and kept my interest. With Christmas just around the corner, reading these inspirational love stories is a good way to begin the season--to begin thinking about the miracle of love that we celebrate at this time of the year. Readers who enjoy Amish romance and stories about Christmas will not want to miss An Amish Christmas Wedding.

Four Amish Christmas romance stories. While each was pretty predictable from the beginning, I thoroughly enjoyed each one.
Evergreen Love by Amy Cliptson: Lorene Bontrager is convinced she'll forever be single. An old maid. Five years earlier she had broken things off with Ryan Lapp. They were supposed to marry, but he never would commit to building them a house. She took that as a sign that he truly didn't want to marry her. Assumptions many times aren't always correct, as in this case. Ryan moved away, but when Lorene's sister announced she was to marry Ryan's younger brother, well, how was Lorene going to handle that situation? Ryan would obviously be around more in the wedding planning, and she and Ryan were to be in the wedding! Could she bear being around him after everything that had happened between them? Or, rather, didn't happen?
Read this story to find out.
Holiday of Hope by Kelly Irvin: Henry Lufkin is a single Amish man who suddenly finds out that his friend has passed away and left instructions for his son to be raised by Henry in such an event. Henry likes his single life. His alone time. Whatever will he do with a ten year old boy? A boy who certainly doesn't want to be with Henry. The poor boy has lost so much. His dad, and then his aunt who was raising him. Henry definitely has his work cut out for him. Oh, and did I mention, the boy doesn't believe in God? An atheist Amish as their driver said. Oh, boy.
Oh, and Tommy also doesn't like to bathe or attend school.
Leesa Yoder has inherited the job of teaching when her sister married. She doesn't believe this is what she should be doing, or wants to do. Nervous on her first day on the job, and Tommy shows up. She walks Tommy home to discuss his behavior with Henry. They agree to work together to help Tommy. Will Leesa and Henry find love together? You'll have to read this delightful story.
Wreathed in Joy by Kathleen Fuller: Mary and Jakob were friends forever, it seems. Since they were children. Older, they decided to take their relationship further, and began dating. Kathleen eventually broke things off, and Jakob agreed. It just seemed they were better as friends. But, as the saying goes, you can never go back. Or can you? It seemed the friendship they'd shared for so long was now awkward and gone.
A year later, an event pulls them together again. Will there be love for them at the Christmas season? Read to find out!
A Christmas Prayer by Vannetta Chapman: Rachel King has lost both parents and has never married. She lives alone and is often sad and feels so alone. How it would be to have family to love and share life with! No siblings, grandparents, no one.
Micah Miller, a widower, has started Amish Tour Company. It's for the Englischers to experience just a bit of the Amish lifestyle, and perhaps take a bit of it back home with them. Rachel's home is one of the tour stops. She prepares tea and snacks for the Englischers. She allows questions about the Amish way of life, and at the end of the visit, she shows them her handmade quilts that some of the ladies purchase. It is enjoyable for Rachel.
One evening, as Micah is going home, he finds a stray dog on the road, in the snow. He sees that it has an injured leg. Micah lives with his son and his family and several in the household are allergic to dogs, so he realizes he cannot possibly take the dog home with him. So, he turns around and takes it to Rachel. He has seen the sadness in her eyes, and thinks maybe a dog for company would bring her joy. She agreed to take the dog for the night.
When Micah returns the following day, they take the dog to the vet to learn it is chipped, and it's owner passed away several weeks earlier. Poor thing has no home.
Rachel decides to keep the dog, and it does bring her joy. But, the dog isn't the only one who becomes a source of joy and hope for Rachel. Is there Christmas love for Rachel?
I was given an advanced copy of this by the publisher, Zondervan and Netgalley. I was under no obligation to leave a positive review.

There is something extra special about Christmas books and that this one has four novella length Amish stories by my favorite authors is a bonus.
I'll admit to reading Christmas books not just at Christmas time but all year for that warm fuzzy feeling they bring me. They are a warm hug with a cup of hot cocoa kind of book that I can't get enough of.

This is a wonderful collection of Amish Christmas stories. Evergreen Love is my favorite story. Ryan and Lorene haven't seen much of either other since their engagement was broken. This is a sweet second chance romance. Holiday of Hope is not only a sweet romance but a start of a new family when Henry starts to raise his deceased best friend's son with the help of the new school teacher. Wreathed in Joy is a nice Christmas story of former best friends' chance at romance. I loved A Christmas Prayer which portrays a sweet romance between an older couple. I enjoyed reading all of these stories. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntarily given review.

This is a delightful book that shares four different Amish stories by some of the popular Amish writers. The book starts out with a nice detailed listing of Amish terms and words that you might not be familiar with that will help you understand the stories. These are classic love stories but just with an Amish flare. The first story, Evergreen is a tale of two young Amish that were promised to each other but the groom ran off but they are forced to face each other several years down the road at their siblings wedding. Will the sparks fly?
The second story, Holiday of Hope, takes place in Montana which is a different location from most Amish stories. When a confirmed bachelor becomes the guardian of a young boy his world is turned upside down. He has a meeting with the young boy's teacher. It might not have been the easiest of teacher conferences. Where will this lead for these two single adults?
The third story, Wreathed in Joy, ask the question can two good friends date? Mary and Jakob have been good friends most of their lives. Friends say why not date? And unfortunate accident leads Jakob to help out Mary and she has second thought about their relationship.
There's always a widower story in Amish tales. It's the fourth story, A Christmas Prayer. In this story it isn't orphaned children that bring the widower and young woman together but a hurt dog. Will the dog help them find love with each other?
If you enjoy reading stories about the Amish these are some stories that you will enjoy reading during the holidays.

This is a group of four Amish romance novellas that are from four of my favorite authors. These are each based around Christmas and weddings. I did not want to put this book down. As soon as I finished one novella I started the next one. Each novella had great characters. It is always fun to see how each writer shows a slightly different view of how each Amish community is viewed. If you enjoy reading about Christmas and Amish you will love these stories. I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

Four top authors of Amish fiction join together to create An Amish Christmas Wedding. Each story stands alone - they're not connected in any way except the season - but each has the joy of falling in love at Christmas at its heart.

Amy Clipston's Evergreen Love brings a second chance to get love right for Ryan Lapp and Lorene Bontrager. Holiday of Hope by Kelly Irvin brings laughter and joy to widower Henry Lufkin as he falls for the orphaned boy in his care, and his school teacher, Leesa Yoder. Kathleen Fuller brings Wreathed in Joy where best friends Mary Wengerd and Jakob Mullet ruin a great friendship by dating. Or did they? Finally, Vannetta Chapman gives the very tender love story, A Christmas Prayer, where widower Micah Miller and spinster Rachel King fall in love in their later years. Of the four stories, this one was probably my personal favorite. I liked them all but there was something about Micah's patience with the never-married Rachel that just touched my heart.

Readers of Amish fiction will LOVE this book. All four authors are insanely good at their craft, and bring their characters to vibrant life. I would absolutely recommend this anthology!

I enjoy reading the novella anthologies that seem very popular with Amish fiction/romance. Why do you ask? One I get to revisit some of my favorite characters or towns briefly and learn more about side characters. Two I find new to me authors or series that I might not normally gravitate towards. Three I can read a story a night and fall asleep happy.

I tend to suggest these novella anthologies to readers who want to dip their toes into the Amish genre. This selection of novellas will be on my heavily suggested list. Each story is full of love and Christmas cheer. How can you go wrong?

Don't ask me to pick a favorite as that would not be right. Each story was heartwarming and written well. A perfect book to put you in the Christmas cheer.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, Zondervan Fiction, through NetGalley. Any opinions expressed in the above review are entirely my own.

This is a decent set of short stories from major writers of Amish romance. The first story asks the question -- what do you do when your sister announces her engagement to your ex-fiance's brother?

These are good stories for fans of the genre or anyone else looking for a gentle read with a happy ending.
