This took me a bit to get into, but once I got caught up in he story I was feverishly enthralled and it was hard to put down. Fascinating themes of good and evil and the forces that surround us - I would recommend this to others who want to sink themselves into a spiritual read - it gives the reader a lot to think about once they are done.
This is a well-told story about the role of faith in sustaining a man in serious life trials. The plot pivots around a student falsely accusing a university music professor of racism, the healing power of love and support of his friends and family and his subsequent spiritual growth.
This is told with a strong Catholic/Christian voice and is a bit preachy and mystical in spots, but the story is a compelling enough read even if it's not the reader's specific point of view.
This isn't usually the type of book I read, but I found myself really enjoying it
There's alot of spiritual awakenings, some maybe a bit far fetched. But it totally binds the whole story together.
It is very well written and well described so much so that I found myself really visualising the new house in the story.
Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for ARC. Opinions are my own
