I received an ARC from Leafwood Publishers, via NetGalley. This review is my personal opinion.
I must say this is an unexpected and refreshing and encouraging book, Todd Lollar opens up not about his different type of weakness. In a world where we daily here you have to be strong all the time is nice to hear it’s okay not always being okay. What I like about this book is although the author shares a lot of personal stories is more about God’s grace and love for us, even amid our imperfections. I think that what Todd Lollar wanted to share in his book is necessary for our church’s and daily life, to be vulnerable open doors to a deep relationship with God, and also to be used by Him. As Todd says in his book, God is not looking for perfect people, but those who want to surrender to him. If you want to be encouraged with an uplifting message this book is a great choice.
Just when you thought you couldn't take another step, along comes a book of encouragement. Cerebral palsy is a condition rather than a disease and its challenges remain constant throughout life, affecting the body and sometimes the mind. Lollar explains what limitations and opportunities CP offers him in life and ministry. He reminds us that some weaknesses are unfixable, and in those circumstances, God is both sustainer and provider.
Lollar invites those with disabilities and weaknesses to redefine themselves in light of Christ's strengths. He challenge each one of us to reexamine what we thought were limitations in light of the unlimited ability and resources of God. In reading, you will be encouraged, motivated, and moved. Recommended for each person, living in our own state of weakness.

Weak Is the New Strong
By Todd Lollar
This is truly one of the most uplifting and thought-provoking books I have read in a very long time. Lollar shares the gospel in a compelling manner, one that is not easily ignored. It has been a long time when I have read a book by someone so completely sold out on Jesus and it was refreshing! I so highly recommend this book to anyone especially anybody who has any challenge in their lives.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. The views given are my own.
