This book was really fun and good way to get inspired to find love in cooking and through cooking while also getting in touch with your most natural self. Kitchen Witch methodology has also allowed me to become more intentional and connect to the food I consume.

With and engaging writing style and well thought out format Dawn Aurora Hunt guides the reader through a collection of recipes aimed at all aspects of love starting right from the root of loving ones self.

Things I enjoyed
1. The use of pictures within the main work was visual pleasing while also being informative
2. A positive and welcoming tone is struck from the first page of the introduction and carried through out the work.
3. Within the text the writer makes it clear that there are practical limitations for the uses of these recipes and taht none of them would force someone to fall in love with you or destroy pre-established relationships.
4.There is a heavy focus on self love as a part of these practices

Things I would have liked to see
1. Discussion and allergies and the effects of substituting some ingredients to the energetic componet of your work as a kitchen witch..
2. A real bibliography (there is a minuscule index at the end but that is not quite the same.
3. Expansion on the theme of the book to cover meals and recipes for recovering after a break up or boosting confidence in the weeks before a first date.

I really enjoyed this simple yet well-thought-out book. It is great for beginners or those with more years under the belt. I would highly recommend it.

I really loved this one; half self help and half recipe book, and all amazing. Has delicious recipes for delicious food and has all kinds of cool “magical” input on ingredients, etc. This book would be perfect for the witch that cooks as a hobby, but anyone looking for tasty food with a flare for fantasy will enjoy this just as much. This book is really something special.

This book is full of positivity and I felt instantly relaxed reading it, almost like a food meditation. Even if you're not Pagan you can still enjoy the easy to follow recipes in this book.

I found the emphasis placed on loving oneself first so important. I didn't expect this to have some self-help wisdom thrown in here too!

There are some very interesting recipes throughout the book, with information on how the ingredients helps and the magic within the highlighted ingredients.

I look forward to trying some of the recipes, like all of the chocolate recipes, the Pomegranate Mimosas with Muddled Raspberries, Four-Cheese Baked Macaroni, Banana Bread, and Sweetheart Swirl Cheesecake.

A really cute guide to kitchen witchery! I am enjoying the texts I've read lately about the various sects of practicing witchcraft. This was a nice intro to kitchen witch's and what they believe in/do.

Lots of good information and some new ideas. An absolute must have for the shelf! So many fun and easy to follow recipes and the illustrations are wonderful.

I was unsure about this book but i love the idea of practices as well as recipes. Rather than love of another, I'm thing to use these as self-love ones for those nights in having bad days

I was intrigued by this book having previewed four books that focus on paganism and crystals. I am also a foodie trying to build our cookbook collection so when I stumbled on this book I knew I had to take the chance. I loved the descriptions on the importance of self love and care and the recipes that corresponded to especially the pomegranate mimosas with muddled cherries along with the Rose Red Velvet Cake to name a few. All of the recipes look delicious and I can't wait to try them for myself.

We will consider adding this title to our Cookbook collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

A few foods described. Some nice recipes and ideas dor different kinds of love and romance. To the point of other information. The main focus is the main ingredient and the thing to do. A good book.

I'd never considered the magical properties of food, and how you can infused intention and feeling into food, so this book was fascinating. I loved how most of the recipes were straight forward and easy so even beginning cooks can attempt them and not be intimidated. The photographs and illustrations are gorgeous and I loved all the information about each food's properties.

I enjoyed that this book covers so many forms of love, including self love. It feels like an updated guide to magical working in regards to love since it doesn't focus on those stereotypical love spells. This book oozes postivity and self love and let me tell you.. YA .GIRL. IS. HERE. FOR. IT! This book has so much to offer its readers EVEN if witchery on any level isnt your thing. I am going to be as transparent as possible and say that when I picked up this book I had no clue what kitchen witchery even was. A Kitchen Witch is a Witch who focuses their magical practice on the home and uses things commonly found in the kitchen as magickal tools.

A Kitchen Witch's Guide to Recipes for Love & Romance offers its readers the chance to learn and practice kitchen witchery in order to attract and renew love. It is also a gorgeous recipe book, the photos included are breathtaking. Most of the recipes are simple but delicious and focus around love of self and others. It shows how to cook using ingredients that have energetic properties and speaks of their associations with love, sex, and romance. It also teaches the importance of positive intentions and visualization.

This guide is heavily rooted in Paganism but I hope that doesnt limit those who choose to read it. Even myself as a Christian, I found this book to be inspirtational and thought- provoking. The idea of putting a little of ourselves and positivity and light into all that we do , I think is a concept that many can benefit from.

On another side Dawn Aurora Hunt is simply just a damn good writer. Her personality just spills from the pages. I found myself laughing at her anecdotes frequently. I honestly cannot wait to read more works from her in the future.
