Nina and Matek have an instant attraction. They should not be together, but they are. An unexpected pregnancy leads to a proposal. Nina realizes he is royalty and didn't tell her. Sparks fly.
I know we’re meant to suspend disbelief but seriously? These Sheikh stories don’t even attempt to give a flavour of the authentic Middle East - culture, religion or language. Same old tropes. The author writes well but the stories are so predictable and the characters are so identical. I’ll not bother with any more. A perfectly decent escapist read.
Once again, another quick and awesome book by Leslie North. I loved this series so much! I am not all that familiar with this culture, but that didn't make any difference at all. There were lots of emotions with a surprise for both Matek and Nina. But in the end, it all works out for the best.
Thanks to NetGalley and the author for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The third book in the Sheik series and this time the story of Matek and the royal nanny Nina. Full of romance, desire and family. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me review this book.
The Sheikh’s Pregnant Nanny
Sheikhs of Hamari: Book 3
by Leslie North
Matek is in charge of security of the Hamari royals and Nina is the Royal nanny. Their affair leaves Nina pregnant. When she discovers Matek is a sheikh and the implications that there are and wouldn’t be if he was a normal citizen as she thought.
A quick easy read . As this is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone book but it would benefit from slightly more reference gained from the previous books.
Third and last in this series, also the best of the three, in my opinion. The title is unfortunate, but this story has drama, angst, romance and steam. A quick easy read. Great for the beach or vacation.
Matek is so focused on keeping everyone safe that he almost let Nina slip through his fingers. The Sheikh's Pregnant Nanny, is a wonderful book about family and finding where you belong.
I think that Nina and Matek's story has been the best of the three. I thought that there'd be more interaction from the characters in the first two books though.
