This is a perfect fit for readers who crave a lighthearted, humorous, and romantic escape, with a dash of enemies-to-lovers tension and a strong female protagonist navigating her feelings amidst a tangled web of relationships and secrets.
A fun book that I actually read twice and I think I enjoyed it more the second time than the first. Jed and Camila met before in Texas but she was not expecting to see him in Oregon and not only that to be able to do the work around the vineyard that he is able to do. Yes eventually they do work on each other but that is the fun part leading up to that. The banter and all of the flirting that is not supposed to be flirting but she takes it as such. A wonderful story with very good characters.
It's Wine O'Clock somewhere! Wine Hard, Baby is a very cute slow burn lots of angry words read. Our heroine has a mouth to rival a sailor and an attitude to boot. She's quirky and conflicted and makes this story one worth reading. Although, without her hottie cowboy, I can't imagine the same happy ending.
Humorous, fun, well-paced and just plain entertaining. Mimi Jean Pamfiloff again delivers a highly entertaining read with lots of originality.
I didn't know about this author and I'm glad I found out about her. This book made me laugh and made me wish I was the main character in this one. Loved it!
4 Stars for this quirky romance!
Camila doesn't want her parents to pick her husband and plan her life. They would never agree for her to marry a sexy, cocky, Texan cowboy like Jed and someone like him would never be interested in someone like her ... right? But when Jed shows up at the winery in Oregon where she works ... well, maybe he does like her even though he insists it's a coincidence that he's there.
This is a cute and quirky romance that had me laughing at the potty mouth the Camila has. And Jed does protest too much about not wanting Camila ... he's not fooling anyone. It think that they make a cute couple and I could feel the chemistry between them.

I love MJP’s writing style as she always manages to inject the perfect amount of humour into her books. This book was funny as usual but the fact that the hero and heroine didn’t start a real relationship till about 90% threw me.
Our heroine works at a winery and has made a mistake that has cost them $90k. Just as she goes to tell her boss about her mistake he announces he has sold the winery. Turns out he has sold the winery to the man our heroine turned down and called trailer trash..... so things are definitely about to get interesting.
Although the hero and heroine interact all through the book it didn’t really feel like a romance. They both repeatedly lie to each other to the point I just wanted to yell STOP. So although the book was funny and amusing it was the romance that let me down.
This is a fabulously funny and entertaining book in the OhHellNo series. I have enjoyed other Mimi Jean Pamfiloff books, and this story does not disappoint. It is a fairly quick read, but jam packed with excitement, humour and chemistry.
This is a fun, feisty book with a heroine that is strong and yet flawed, and striving to be the best she can be, with hilarious results. I would highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read more of this series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I have two words: hilarious fun! I liked all the hijinks and funny moments along with the wink wink Easter eggs for all the MJP fans. This was a fun, giggle inducing read. It was hilarity at its best, and over the top made me laugh throughout.
Dirty and fun with terrific characters!”
I love Mimi Jean books and this one was no different. The main character, Camila was the perfect blend of funny, cooky and a dash of crazy. Camila is best friends with Giselle from the book My Pen Is Huge. They call Gisselle’s guy Mr. Big Pen (a.k.a. Leland) and his best friend is a cowboy named Jed. Jed was interested in Camila a while back but she turned him down and called him some names like trailer trash in order to make him angry and not be tempted by him.
That was prior to her moving away and starting work at a vineyard in California. Camila has very strict religeous parents who attend a church with ways that are a bit backward and she knew they would never approve of an outsider, especially one like Jed. Jed was a military sniper, has tattoos, doesn’t care what other people think and doesn’t go to church. This book isn’t religious in nature, just the parents of Camila are.
Camila’s parents church has a tradition of arranged marriages. They believe that selecting a compatible guy of their religion will lead to a long and happy marriage and love or lust isn’t something to build a relationship on. They think that religion and compatibility will turn into love once marriage occurs. Camila wants to marry for love, but knows that if she does, she will lose her parents forever. She had a great and loving upbringing so doesn’t want to lose them.
Jed comes back into the picture at the dinner before Giselle and Leland’s wedding. When an escaped killer is holding a gun on Gisselle and Camila, Jed saves them. He then signs on to help out at the ranch/winery where Camila is an accountant. Camilla is terrific, especially due to her conservative upbringing. At some point she rebelled by learning dirty words and now has a tourette’s like habit of saying every filthy word that comes into her head when she is nervous. It is both cute and hilarious.
Camila keeps either putting her foot in her mouth or making mistakes when it comes to Jed and it is fun to read. I had a great time with this book and these characters and it makes me want to read more. I truly enjoyed everything about this book and now I want to go back and pick up the books in this series that I hadn’t yet read.

I have never read a Mimi Jean Pamfiloff book I didn’t love and this one is no exception! It made me giggle and was so funny I had a big smile on my face from start to finish - Just the ticket to uplift you through these difficult times. I loved the dichotomy of a heroine from an ultra conservative and religious family who has smutty thoughts and can’t stop swearing when she is nervous. It’s little touches like these that makes Mimi such a great author. Can’t wait for more from Mimi!
