This was a very cute graphic novel. It has the same vibes as the prequels. Lovely drawings and a heartwarming story.

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is so cute and definitely a story that you can always read for a pick me up. The illustrations are adorable and loved this series. It's great for everyone and for all ages.

The Tea Dragon series has been one that I've enjoyed all the way through, and The Tea Dragon Tapestry is the perfect conclusion to such a tender trilogy. The art is gorgeous, the characters are so relatable, and the story is lovely, filled with gentle messages and tender care (in this one, the focus is on different types of grief and finding yourself). The notes included at the ends of the books about tea dragon science and culture are fascinating and delight me as an adult (which doesn't come close to the wonder I would have felt at seeing those sections as a kid!). I also love that these books have so much casual queer and disability rep in this soft and gentle world.
Anyone who enjoys a fantasy story that feels like a warm embrace will find themselves at home here. I highly recommend the Tea Dragon Tapestry, and especially reading the full trilogy in order. Recommended especially for fans of Taproot by Keezy Young and The Sprite and the Gardener by Rii Abrego and Joe Whitt.

So sweet. The Tea Dragon series is light & fun. They are diverse books with beautiful art. Highly recommended.

Vol 1 : The Tea Dragon Society, Vol 2, the Tea Dragon Festival, Vol 3, The Tea Dragon Tapestry
Greta is a young, aspiring blacksmith in a fantastical world with many animal-human hybrid beings. She finds a tea dragon in the market one day and rescues it from becoming dinner for some hungry wolves. Greta returns the tea dragon, Jasmine, to her master Hesekiel, a local tea house proprietor. When Greta becomes interested in tea dragons, Hesekiel and his partner, Erik, bring Greta into their fledgling Tea Dragon Society, comprised of themselves and a foundling named Minette. In the second volume, we see Erik and Hesekiel in their past adventuring days. Erik takes Hesekiel back to his village where Rinn, his niece, is trying to find her place in village life. Rinn finds a dragon who has been asleep for eighty years who was supposed to be guarding the village, but was put to sleep by the creature Erik and Hesekiel are here to take out. In the third volume, Greta has the opportunity to become a blacksmith apprentice to a well-respected master as long as she smiths a piece that inspires him. Minette, meanwhile, is struggling with her lack of memories and some of her residual powers we found out about in volume one. Greta continues to care for her tea dragon, Ginseng, who is mourning for its former master.
This series is very cute, but it has a lot of depth to it. There are things about this world that are not fully explained, but I don’t miss the lack of exposition. O'Neill succeeds in drawing the reader in to this lovely little world she's built, to the point where I don't need to know why some of the characters are mostly human with animal features, and others are fully animal. All of the little tea dragons are extremely adorable, and I think there is a good morale to be had in inspiring others to take care of animals that could be transferred to every-day pets for young readers. The characters are also drawn very cutely with large eyes and soft features. The colors are beautiful, as seen on the covers of the books, with beautiful balance of pastels and shading that make the landscapes very lush and inviting. This is a charming series that will appeal to younger readers who are looking for a fantasy tale about friendship and animals.

If you LOVE K O'Neill's books as much as I do, then you are going to LOVE The Tea Dragon Tapestry! Beautiful art, beautiful story! I cannot wait to read whatever they write next!

I always love the Tea Dragon and I feel warm inside when I read it! This one was lovely as the others, can't wait to have it in my hands

This series of graphic novels is absolutely brilliant. It provides an excellent atmosphere. The characters are loveable, the art style is beautiful. It is all *chefs kiss*.

Thank you NetGally and Oni Press for letting me review this book, I finally able to read this requested book of mine after a long time.
Once again, I love the art. The author never fails me to amaze me with the the illustrations.
Like the previous book, the diversity is good and I’m pleased to see all characters of the books interact with each other.
I felt that this book is lacking. Not like in the case of the 1st book but still lacks in plot for me.
Despite loving the previous characters (2nd book), I didn’t feel them that much in here same with the currents ones.
Overall, this a good book. Perfect for middle grades and quick reads.

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is my new favorite graphic novel. I got a chance to read the previous books and I was amazed of how gentle the storytelling was and how adorable the illustrations. I adore how cozy and minimalist the book is. It is truly a reader-friendly book.

All-ages graphic novel series about a community that cares for tea dragons, mini dragons who grow tea leaves. Caring for tea dragons is important because tea brewing is an ancient craft.

The conclusion of the Tea Dragon series is just as perfect as it was when it started. All of the artwork feels whimsical and magical. With a gorgeous color scheme which screamed fall to me, I fell headfirst into The Tea Dragon Tapestry. It feels like being back with your favorite friends. I will never get over how gorgeous the illustration and color work is throughout this entire series.

I love the Tea Dragon series so much, and this book absolutely lives up to the others in the series. Sweet and tender, so beautifully illustrated. Kay more than surpasses expectations time and time again.

Greta’s Tea Dragon, Ginseng, is having trouble adjusting to life without her former owner. Greta tries to help Ginseng while also figuring out how to impress a master blacksmith enough to take her on as an apprentice. Her friend, Minette, receives a gift from the monastery where she used to live, which brings back some old memories of her ancestors. Greta, Minette, and their friends and family have to learn how to adjust to the changes in their lives.
This is the final book in the Tea Dragon series. This is a great series because it has so much diversity. Some characters are non-binary. Most of the characters are like humans in behavior, but some have animal-like features. This gives them a diverse variety of appearances.
An important theme in this story was adjusting to life changes. Greta had to figure out how to make her Tea Dragon feel comfortable enough with her. Minette was adjusting to her new place with this group of friends. She had to learn to accept her history to be able to move on with her future.
The Tea Dragon Tapestry is a great conclusion to this graphic novel series.
Thank you Oni Press for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

K. O'.Neill has done it again. The Tea Dragon Tapestry is a beautiful quiet story with stunning illustrations. The messaging about accepting who your and embracing the changes that are thrust on you but allow yourself to grieve your past you. O'Neill is great at including thoughtful messaging that is perfect for both adults and children.
I hope they will continue making more books in this series. I adore the gentle fantasy style.
I would recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful as always. These books and author will always have a place in my library. This series feels warm and familiar, like a hug. The inclusivity, the illustrations, each dragon - it's all wonderful.

Just to preface this title was severely delayed due to COVID19 and therefore it has been over a year since I have read it. I have loved this series and this final glimpse into the world of the tea dragons was just as gorgeous as the previous ones. This one focuses around grief, helping and supporting a friend as they experience grief but also experiencing it at your own pace and healing in your own way.
As always the artwork is beautiful, the colour palette adds a calming as serine air and it is just chocked full with representations of a fantastically diverse community. They are just gorgeously joyful and heartwarming reads.

My thanks to Oni Press for a digital copy via NetGalley of ‘The Tea Dragon Tapestry’ written and illustrated by Katie O'Neill in exchange for an honest review.
This is the final part of her Tea Dragon Society trilogy. One year has passed since the events in ‘The Tea Dragon Society’ and the coming-of-age stories of Greta and Minette continue as well as the developments in the lives of the adults in their world and of course, the tiny tea dragons. I won’t say more in order to avoid spoilers for the other stories for those yet to read them.
I adore Katie O'Neill’s artwork and use of colour. I found Minette’s dream sequences particularly striking. I also appreciated the sense of inclusiveness that runs throughout the story and indeed the trilogy.
Overall, a charming, wonderful graphic novel that is bound to appeal to children and adults alike. These stories are full of warmth, positivity, and kindness.
Highly recommended.

This is a magical book and Katie O’Neill’s talent absolutely shines. This book is simply stunning and focuses on self-discovery, understanding oneself and getting to better know yourself and the friendships you forget as times goes. This book is the sequel to another beautiful book - The Tea Dragon Society and it takes place a year later. This new story follows the characters and their new adventures. I hope that a new book will come from Katie as the world she creates are magical and unique.

This graphic novel series is by far my favourite. This new volume brought me so much joy and comfort! The author/artist is incredible, they always use a lovely colour palette that matches the story so well!
