I was interested in this book to find out more about psychopaths and how they interact with the rest of society.
The author provides useful explanation and situations.

don't think I've ever been as emotionally charged while reading a book as I was with this title. It was definitely a page-turner and an eye-opener. It almost creeped me out how accurately each color was represented and how closely they reverberated with my life and those around me.
The author's portrayal of the classic psychopath is scary, because they can be as close as the ones closest to you. Though at times it feels like a "stranger than fiction" situation, the examples presented in this book are real life, according to the author. And if the DISA model is accurate, everyone has psychopathic tendencies... Which are only tendencies if you have feelings and can feel empathy. Psychopaths, according to the author, don't feel. They are all about manipulating to their own ends.
At the end of the day, I think there is much to gain from this book. Especially if you or someone you know has been affected by a psychopath and his/her destructive behavior.
I appreciated the attention to the fact that psychopaths are all around us, and the author's advice that we must learn to identify them. Also, this author makes it clear that psychopath is not a synonym for killer. There are literally thousands, maybe millions of people who fit the bill: they only care about themselves and are comfortable committing any act to get ahead. But few of them are murderers. The most they might murder is your reputation or your career.
When I reached the part of the book that started to describe personality types I was less than thrilled. The author divides people up into color groups, as in, "you might have a great percentage of red, and very little yellow". These are symbols for personality types and I found it slow going and not any better than just saying, "you might be impulsive" or whatever. The book could have been useful but I feel that the author really fell in love with that color stuff and for me it was a barrier to understanding his points.
I enjoyed this book and learning about the different between psychopaths and the rest of the society. Different colors for personalities was interesting and how it relates to different characteristics of psychopaths.

Very user friendly guide to psychopaths and how to deal with them. Very accessible and definitely recommended if you are having a struggle with one of these types at work or in the family
