The author looks back on his family's life mainly his grandfathers and then grandmothers and sees what just took place during the 20's and led into prohibition. an exciting story that has some people following the law and some not because you still need to eat and the depression was then going on. A very good book.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed reading this book. The story is a well written account of his family in Milwaukee. Most of the story revolves around his grandfather and as he begins his research he uncovers many family secrets. The book is easy to read and hard to put down. Enjoy
