i really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great and I really enjoyed the plot. I look forward to reading more from the author.

It took me a little while to get into this book but I am glad I persevered. The author does a good job of world building. You get thrown into this world without endless narrative. This serves to engage the reader by pulling them in rather than spoonfeeding information. The main character, Jenna, is a mixed bag. She operates under her own moral code which includes many shades of gray. I didn't enjoy the romance. It was unexplained and sudden, without any real depth. I would have liked more of Jenna's backstory. Perhaps the author is saving that for a sequel. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
