I doodled along with this while listening to some audiobooks. I’ve never been a great drawer but these were perfect basic sketches to get me through. I can now draw llamas, dogs, and penguins that actually look like said animal. With more practice I can memorize all that’s in here
Well this is a quirky book! I think it’s great. Jammed full of super cute drawings and doodles with instructions on how to recreate them. Lots of advice on pens and pencils and the different effects you can make.
This would make a super gift for a young person who has maybe started journaling.
This title is very cute and will be loved by doodlers. Learn to draw in many categories including animals, people, food, flowers & plants, around the house and more. The book begins with lots of information about ballpoint pens (a lot more than I had guessed that there was to know here) and drawing materials before going into how to make the many objects included within. The end of the book has a section on "special lessons" should a reader want to learn more techniques. Throughout are adorable doodles that I know that I will enjoy creating.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.
Easy to follow instructions to help elevate your doodles. I found this helpful and well organized. This is a very basic guide. If you’re looking for more in depth drawing instructions this isn’t your book. But if you just want to mess around and make cute doodles this will help you achieve that.
I liked this book. You will find a part about ball-point pens in it, tips on color combinations and coloring techniques, and of course many illustrations you can learn to draw. This book is a simple step-by-step guide to drawing various animals, people, food & drink, plants & flowers, and more.
It is an excellent book for children, but it is also suitable for some beginner adults who are interested in this style and want to learn some basics.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this! All opinions are my own.
What a fresh, friendly, and accessible little book.
The dog variations and breeds were a particular highlight.
Decorative lines, frames, borders are super useful.
Love the creative way they credit all the artists in the end.
I really nice book for a younger child looking into get past the chicken scratches. This has very simple and easy to follow instruction for many many objects. The illustrations and bright and engaging. Most of the doodles are very easy to do so there is no barrier to entry. This can almost be called a encyclopedia of doodles for the amount of doodles it has. Its definitely targeted for someone younger and could be a nice present. I did have trouble with downloading this book onto my kindle.
Kindle version is a bit all over the place and hard to follow, especially for a young child. It did have a cute variety of doodles though. Thank you!
I can't draw very well and this book is really helpful, with all the steps to draw something and actually know what is it. :)
Great guide for beginners.
I love scribbling and doodles seem such fun. This book has doodles with easy to follow instructions and covers a wide range of things to draw, I loved it.
Doodle it All is a fun little book showing you how to creatively doodle starting off with simple objects and animals along with a variety of other things. The doodles are very easy to follow and fun doodling is not meant to be major works of art just simple ways to unwind and express creativity. This book is perfect for that and would be wonderful for younger children or anyone wishing to just have a bit of fun.
I received this book via NetGalley for an honest review.

Not quite what I was expecting. My copy of the eARC had a lot of words missing. Luckily the doodles are easy enough to follow along with. Also, the images seem as though they were just scanned in, making it a bit lackluster. I understand it’s not the finished copy, but it doesn’t make me want to buy the book.
This is a fun and helpful book that shows you how to doodle very simply. The bulk of the lessons are for people, clothing, etc. but there are also things like landmarks, foods, houses, musical and sports equipment and other objects, plus instructions for things like speech bubbles, decorative lines, making doodles as symbols for journaling and calendars, announcements, and so on. The doodles are very basic and child-like, which makes them easy to follow but perhaps a bit too child-like for some tastes. The good news is that anyone of any age can easily make these doodles, though perfectionists may want a slightly more technical book. All in all, I found it a fun book that the whole family can use.
I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.
Really cute doddle book.
Easy to follow instructions for beginners and pros alike.
Not just for kids either!
Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for ARC
This book is incredible!!! I can’t draw. At all. And my doodles normally begin and end with 3D boxes stacked on each other. With this books help I think I’ll be drawing really good looking doodles in no time.
The book begins with practical advice such as how to choose a pen and what pens will work on what surfaces, how to use different colour schemes to change the look of your doodle, even how you colour in a space can change the look or even the characters emotion!
There is a menagerie of animals in a cartoon and more realistic style and hints on how to add interest: hint- llamas with sweaters? Yes please!!
There are also vehicles, buildings, seasonal items, frames and one of my favourites... lettering! I keep a sort of bullet journal but it is very plain and I don’t like my handwriting much so I’m really looking forward to this.
I can’t wait to go through it with my 10 year old and do some doodling together. This book will definitely be on my shopping list for Christmas gifts for the children we know.
Great book for budding artists of any age who want to warm up their drawing skills. Working through this book and practicing the doodles can consume a 15 minute break or an entire afternoon. It presents a lot of ideas to create individual doodles or collages and collections. Highly recommended for all public libraries, artists, after school programs, summer camps, and senior centers. It is a great way to practice with colored pencils or fine-point markers. The authors provide detailed information about doodling with ballpoint pens.
An adorable book that demonstrates to the reader how to doodle utilising simple techniques. The instructions are easy to follow and execute and I found myself learning quite a few things. I liked how the book deconstructs the doodling techniques into using simple shapes and lines. There are step-by-step instructions which are helpful for those new to doodling. The doodles are adorable and there is a wide variety of different doodles such as animals, food, numbers and lettering to name a few. I also liked how this book covered art materials.
I recommend this for people who would like to learn or improve their doodling and art techniques.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a really neat book for beginners and pros alike. I like how it touches on the different types of pens you can use to doodle and draw and even breaks down step by step how to draw different animals, people, foods, apparel and more. I like that it discusses different techniques to achieve certain looks as well. I also like how it talks about drawing lines and hits a bit on lettering as well.
It is also helpful that there is an index in the back of the book to reference if you are wanting to look up how to draw a certain thing. This book is a great guide and I am looking forward to trying out a lot of the techniques and and doodles.
This is a cute, simple, sweet book of doodles. A lot of the doodles in this one remind me of emojis. You don't have to be a great artist to replicate the doodles in this book and if you are already artistically inclined this might be too simplistic for you. This would be good for anyone who just wants to add some easy doodles to their planner or to practice building skills.
This adorable book teaches you how to doodle almost anything you can think of. The drawings are very cute and basic, so it's not like a professional drawing, but it's what I was looking for. It's great for journals, scrapbooks or just play around with doodles. The book is very colorful and fun!
