Terrific little book with plenty of ideas for doodling. Subjects include people, animals, food, furniture, houses and buildings, International landmarks, flags and more. The artwork has been drawn by multiple artists who all have a kawaii line- drawing style, so there's some variation, but overall it's similar. You can take what you want from. The examples; personally, I'd be more likely to draw pictures of food or a bicycle into a greeting card or letter than I would to drop in an overly cute panda with a branch of bamboo, but that's me. Combining elements and line styles gives you a ton of options for cards, notes, journals or diaries, and plenty of ideas. Cute book.
A art guide for little children that can be used by adults too. It teaches art to doodle by simple technique. It draws various doodles starting with basic numbers or lines.
It is very interesting to read it and learn.
All instructions are easy enough for kids to follow themselves.
There is everything in these pages. Baby, building, hat, sheep, mouse and many more.
All doodles are colored.
It is a very good book for learning to do doodling.
The title ‘Doodle it all’ sums up this book perfectly! It doesn’t try too hard to turn the reader into an artistic genius but it does enable an absolute beginner enjoy creating some visually recognisable images!
Great for kids or keen-but-artistically-limited adults alike this book will allow you to make greeting cards or the like without showing yourself up! It features some step by step illustrations to make the art of doodling accessible to all!
Thank you NetGalley and publishers for an ARC. All opinions are my own.
Doodle It All is true to its title! You will learn how to add sweet doodles to accent notes and letters. I love the introduction that share what type of pens to use. Also there is a reference sheet in the back to help refers search for an item to doodle. I love how simple each step is and how using basic shapes is encouraged.
Highly recommended for young artists and veteran doodlers looking to sharpen their skill a bit.
The doodles in this one were very easy to follow. I think even my little siblings can draw the pictures included here. It was very fun nonetheless. I’m not an expert in doodling so this one might be for you if you are not so good like me and just want a fun or creative way to pass the time. The only problem with this copy is that most doodles were blurry so I can’t see much.
I wanted to like this more than I did. Though the step by step instructions and illustrations were helpful, something about the drawings made this feel like a really amateur book. I wish more care had gone into drawing the pictures with pens that would photograph well.
Basic doodles, easy to follow. Would entertain kids for a few hours. I was able to get a good copy of the doodles with little effort.
Super cute and easy to follow along. Fun way to pass the time for any one. Thank you netgalley for the advanced copy!
This was a cute book fun little book. Has almost anything you could think of to doodle. I tried most of the simple geometric based doodles and a few.of the ones that require a little more skill. I wish that some of the more challenging ones had been broken down into better steps but overall this is a good book for kids and adults to hone their doodle skills.
This book provided exactly what it said it would. The doodle instructions were clear and easy to follow, and it provided a variety of options and ideas. Great for building onto my journaling.
"I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."
I received this ebook in exchange for an honest and fair review. I enjoyed the illustrations and feel that it work well as a guided drawing project for young students. Unfortunately it was not formatted to be read as a kindle book.
I am totally hopeless at drawing, I need all the help I can get and when I saw Doodle It All, I thought I’d give it a try.
The cute cover pulled me in straightaway, now I would say this is not for the experienced artist, definitely the novice which is exactly what I am.
It covered how to draw everything from cats and dogs to cakes and planes and everything in between and it will be perfect if your have a bullet journal, it will give you great ideas for new designs to pop on your pages.
I had great fun testing out my drawing skills with this books and I’m looking forward to playing with it in the future, I think it makes a great book to reference back to.
I thought this book might give me some tips to advance my skills in drawing and doodling. While it has some ideas, I didn’t find it hugely informative. It’s very very basic. The format doesn’t work well in ebook download and it made it hard to follow. All in all a few useful tips but hard to read.
Cute doodling guide, can see that it would appeal to children and teenagers as well as anyone who is inspired by the minimalist 'kawaii' doodles frequently seen in Japanese mook zines. Unsurprisingly, the contributor artists to this book are in fact largely familiar to me as a consumer of Japanese Magazines, an example being amycco. Has some cute examples of how you could create doodles for celebration cards etc.
Cute illustrations. However, there were a lot of typos in the text, pretty sure it was meant to say Animals and instead it said Anal! Might want to rethink this format! I think it would work great as a book, but it doesn’t translate well for kindle.
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.
This is a very cute book. Its like a drawing tutorial for dummys with a kawai style. Some thimes the drawing goes to far form "basic form" and become more complicated.
I´m gone used it for an inspiration propuse
A great book full of little icon style pictures and show t draw them. A budding young artist’s handbook on cartoon and cute design. Ideal for scrapbookers, parents and teachers. Will b easing this at school after lockdown to encourage children who say they ‘can’t draw’ Baptist’s become more confident with drawing.
Thanks to #NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ahead of publication in exchange for an honest review
Thanks, NetGalley and the publisher for giving me this review copy in exchange with an honest review.
I am a beginner and like to doodle. I loved the concept, everything was elaborate in detail and simple way. Which made following the process so easy.
Plus the variety of doodles is simply IMPRESSIVE.
I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to art and drawing, and a this book was perfect for me! Cute ideas, easy to follow designs, and it made it really fun to work on my art skills! I think this would be really great for anyone who has /worked with kids, though it's totally usable for just adults as well.
I will definitely be recommending this to friends, students, budding artists, and anyone who wants to learn how to make a quick sketch. It's fun and super accessible for everyone, so definitely not limited to just kids!
I journal, mainly during work, and I like to doodle. I'm not very good by any means, so finding any book that has nice easy instructions on simple doodles is a blessing. Especially at work.
