The Awesome 3-D Art Coloring Guide Review
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!! The concept is great. The instructions are clear. The tips are helpful. If you struggle in your drawing skills, the author has sketches in the back of the book to assist you. In addition, the drawings provide variety that will help the reader develop other ideas to add more dimension (no pun intended) to their repertoire. This book is great for all skill levels and it also makes an excellent gift.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book provided by the publisher and Net Galley. However, the thoughts expressed are totally my own.
This is a great guide. I enjoyed working along with the lessons. It solved the mystery of 3D drawing for me.
This is a very nice book to learn how to color 3D pictures. It comes with the step by step with images so it's easy to follow. At the end of the book you will find the drawings so you can print it and color it using the techniques that are shown in this book. There are 20 images for you to choose from (or try them all). Very nice! I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review
This book is perfect. It has everything you need to know for coloring 3D. Everything is explaint step-by-step with a lot of details. And with practice pages! For beginners and advaced learners.
The Awesome 3-D Art Colouring Guide by Yukari Mishima is a very nice and easy to follow guide on how to colour to give a 3-D effect to pictures. The book features a guide for each picture and a colouring sheet.
This is great! If there is one thing I'm terrible at, it's making a picture look 3-D. My art teacher had zero patience, so I never really got a chance to learn whilst in school. This is such a clear guide to how to make things pop off the page, and the back includes the designs for you to colour, so if you're rubbish at drawing like me, you don't have to stress about that part. This would be really good for anyone just beginning, who wants to understand the very basics of 3-D. I'd say it's probably not suitable for those more advance, but would be brilliant for anyone just setting out.
This is an excellent book for anyone wanting to advance their colouring skills to something more creative. The instructions and examples for blending and shading are very good. It would also be useful for beginner artists and children wanting to develop a new skill. I liked the pictures used but the skills could be used with any pictures. The only improvement would be to put the coloured version of the picture next to the black and white picture then you would have it in front of you as you worked. Overall a very good book great for a rainy day inside.
The ebook download format doesn’t work that well so some parts were hard to follow.
This book has a few useful tips to achieving 3D effects in artwork. Some of the instructions weren’t always clear but it had given me a few tips.
Images were nice and with a step by step guide, it is very informative for first timers and great way to pass time.
Thanks Netgalley for providing I copy. Now I will try to finish a few of the drawings.
As someone new to drawing, I found this to be wonderfully informative. With tips, tricks, and techniques for layering and blending colors, shading, and highlighting that will make even the most basic drawings pop, this should be a resource every beginner checks out. I know this will be a book I turn to again and again. The only way it could have been better is if I'd had the print version with the pictures already drawn and ready for me to color. 😉
The Awesome 3-D Art Coloring Guide is a colouring book that includes 20 pictures with optical illusions to colour and instructions on how to colour them to maximise the 3D effect.
The pictures themselves are pretty cool and cute and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I think you can easily even switch out some of the suggested colours if you adjust the other colours accordingly (so the shadows and highlights match-up).
I think this book is great for anyone interested in 3D art that isn't yet well versed in 3D drawings on just wants to use their colour creativeness, without worrying how to draw the pictures themselves.
*Thanks to NetGalley and Zakka Workshop for providing me with an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review.*
