I’ll say it every time I review one of Karen Kingsbury’s books. I love reading about the Baxter family. It never gets old and I feel like I am more a part of their family each time I read a new book. This was no exception. I, so glad that she is continuing their story, while also introducing new friends, through these standalone novels. I really loved reading about Tommy and Annalee’s relationship. They are young but are so in love and you can tell that Tommy would do anything for her. It was also interesting to revisit 9/11 in this story. I remember reading about the early days of Luke and Reagan’s relationship and this story revisits those days. This particular book definitely made me tear up on more than one occasion. It was such a sweat, tear jerker, heartwarming story.

Another beautiful story by Mrs. Kingsbury! This one was especially helpful for the world we are living in today. I love how Karen Kingsbury always tackles the hard subjects because it helps me as a reader learn how to deal with daily struggles in a healthy and godly way. I loved the message of faith over fear that was revealed in this book. I also loved how Karen talked about gratitude and being thankful for each day we are given. I also loved that this book focused on the police force and how their occupation is most definitely a calling from God. I am really thankful and honored to have been able to read an early copy of this book and I am thankful for the effect that Karen's books have on my life and the lives of so many.

The Baxters are back in this heartfelt story of God's love. This is a sweet story but very predictable. I like that the author emphasizes that God's plan may not be what one might anticipate. Highlighting the evils of sex trafficking is commendable. I liked the author showing support for the police. Having family members and friends who have fought cancer, I felt this part of the story too neat. Encouraging story, filled with faith in God. Recommended!

Wow! What a great continuation of the Baxter family story line, this time focusing on Luke and Reagan's oldest son, Tommy. As Tommy's senior year in high school progresses, his longtime girlfriend faces a major health issue. Meanwhile, Tommy makes decisions about his future career, causing his parents to question his choice and learn how to support him. A return to New York City on 9/11 provides the opportunity for Luke and Reagan to share more of their personal story with their eldest son. FANTASTIC book that will hold your attention from beginning to end...& make you wish it continued!

Truly, Madly, Deeply is another Baxter novel written by Karen Kingsbury. This is book 31 of the Baxter, yes 31 but you don't have to read the previous books to follow what is going on in this book. The good thing about reading this book is that you don't have to read all those books. She does a good job of summarizing who the characters are and how they relate to each other. There were five Baxter siblings and this one feature's Luke Baxter's son Tommy. If you want to read about Tommy's parents story it is included in the book Return (Redemption Series) published in 2009. Tommy is in his senior year of high school. All is well with him. He has found a gal he really likes. After visiting the 911 memorial with his family he decides he wants to be a law enforcement officer. This does not go well with his mother Reagan. As a mother I can understand her feelings. She fears for the safety of her son. I am happy that Karen Kingsbury tackled this subject. Law enforcement officers have not gotten very much respect lately. Because of the actions of one corrupt police officer people treat law enforcement officers with disdain. I liked it that the author portrayed them as heroes and as people that we need to respect.

The main part of the story dealt with Tommy's decision to become a law enforcement officer but the other part of the story dealt with someone close to him getting a health diagnosis that will affect their life. I loved how Tommy stood by this friend. I kept reading hoping for the best outcome possible. Don't want to say too much more. Not going to spoil it for you. I think this will be an enjoyable read.

Truly, Madly, Deeply by Karen Kingsbury is the next highly anticipated story in the Baxter family saga though can easily be enjoyed standalone. The story is sweet and I enjoyed it. I like that the characters are Christians but sometimes just seem too perfect – even when they are having doubts. I like that the author brings relevant real life issues to light; topics affecting the characters in this book include losing someone during 9/11 and visiting the Ground Zero memorial, fighting sex trafficking in the US and abroad, appreciation for police and first responders, and cancer treatment. I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book on Net Galley, all opinions are my own.

This book did not hit the mark for me. I have read all of Karen Kingsbury books and I usually enjoy her books immensely. Not sure what was wrong this time. The novel felt rushed and preachy. However, our library will buy it and it will go out! Our patrons love Karen Kingsbury. Thanks to Atria Books and Net Galley for the ARC.

Thank you Net Galley for this ARC. Karen Kingsbury is an author, for me, always brings joy into my heart. Her books are always filled with hope and love, and gives me a pick-me-up. I've read the majority of her Baxter series so I was already familiar to this family. I loved this book as I do all of her others.

All of Karen Kingsbury books have a religious tone to them. I love that as it explores our lives as Christians. Tommy and Annalee are high school sweethearts with happy families. Tragedy hits when Annalee gets cancer and their lives change to deal with that. They had their lives planned out but this changed so much in how they see their futures plus other events affect tommy and his relationship with his parents. Beautiful story of life, love and the power of our faith! Good read!

I want to thank NetGalley, the publisher, and author Karen Kingsbury for providing me with an ARC of the title Truly, Madly, Deeply!

Another Kingsbury novel, and again I fall in love with her writing. Every. Time. This was so wonderful; I am relatively new to the Baxter family, but that didn't hurt my understanding of this at all. I couldn't put this down every time I had the chance to pick it up. I would find myself reading for hours because I wanted more and more of the story. KK's writing is like coming home, and this novel didn't disappoint.

Thank you again for the chance to read and review this novel!

Tommy is walking on the beach with his soulmate Annalee. They are visiting the western beaches of Thailand. Annalees family runs a ministry. Annalee is considering different Colleges and Tommy is considering the military. I liked that Annalee and her family had strong faith and we're trying to stop sex trafficking. There are a lot of characters but I wasn't overwhelmed. I loved the connection to 911 and how it impacted first responders health. I loved reading about Annalees health problems and her fight to be healthy again.i loved that Tommy decided that he wanted to be a cop

This was a DNF for me. I thought the description sounded interesting and didn't know much about the author. I tend to just grab books that sound good and read away. This however was not what I had expected. I am not overly religious, I don't mind it being in books. I don't mind reading about any faiths, no matter what they are. This book though was too much. It was a little too in your face and preachy. There are plenty of reviews from many who have loved it, but it just was too much for me. Thank you NetGalley for the early copy in exchange for an honest review.

I have always loved every single book that I have ready by Karen Kingsbury and this one is no exception! I fell in love with all of these characters immediately. Of course, always loving the Baxter's! This book drew me in immediately and kept my attention throughout the whole story.

Tommy Baxter is a smart, athletic young man that has everything going for him. He has several universities looking at him for scholarships and his parent's are excited about what his future will hold. Tommy is in love with Annalee and everyone around them knows that they have something very special between them. It was so refreshing to read about teenagers who actually care about what their parent's think and say about how they should act even though they are seniors in high school. That is not seen much anymore.

When Annalee notices that she has been having a hard time getting her breath in certain situations, tests begin and the unexpected slaps them in the face. I love how the community rallied around this family and all those who were involved in this situation. That is how we should all be! Prayer is the key to all things and that was so evident in this story. I admire Karen Kingsbury and her willingness to take on this issue and write about it. I know there has been some criticism about it being too much in this book, but I personally did not think so. I thought it was a great job and very timely in our day and time.

When Tommy surprises his parents and all who have thought he would take an athletic scholarship and tells them that he wants to be a policeman, his mother goes through some things herself. Reagan does not want Tommy to be a policeman because she is still dealing with the loss of her father during 911. Reagan knows that she is not going to be able to talk Tommy out of it but she has to be able to deal with it and come to accept it. Tommy has the heart of a policeman and she knows that he is cut out to do it.

I loved following Tommy and Annalee and seeing how well he treated her while she was fighting for her life. Tommy was definitely one of a kind young man that I wish we had more of in this world. My son reminds me of Tommy though and maybe that is why I fell in love with him so much! This was such a great read that I will not soon forget. I can't wait to read more from the Baxter family!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and all opinions are my own. Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an advanced copy of this book.

Karen Kingsbury is one of my favorite authors. Whether you are just getting to know the Baxters or have loved them for years, this book shares another piece of their story. I love that 9/11 was woven into the story. During this time of unrest, it is important to remember our history.

Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for allowing me to read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoy Karen Kingsbury books but this was not my favorite. I didn’t connect with the characters and the book seemed rushed. I am sure that others will enjoy it.

Young love, figuring out the future, past secrets revealed, life-threatening disease, and testing of his faith, accompanies 18 year-old Tommy Baxter as he approaches adult life.

Karen Kingsbury brings us another wonderful book about the Baxter family members with lots of love and drama. I love how the author incorporates modern-day issues, of which this book contains many including 9/11, sex trafficking, police issues, and cancer.

I loved this book and couldn’t put it down until it was completed. I highly recommend this book. Each book in the series becomes my favorite. Be sure you have the tissues ready as you read this one.

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher, Atria Books and NetGalley. All views expressed are my own.

I am and will forever be a huge fan of the Baxter Family, so when another book about the family is released I immediately sit and read it cover to cover. Each book is a chance to catch up with the entire clan.
This book was written with the authors entire soul, I loved that 9/11 was part of the story even all these years after !
I loved this story and as always I anxiously awaiting the next family reunion!

I’ve read every single one of Karen Kingsbury book that has been written. Though I was a huge fan at one point I’ve come to a love/ relationship with her books now. The reason? It just seems like every character has to go through a life shattering or grief/loss experience. It gets to the point where it doesn’t seem realistic that these characters would have to endure that much. And I always seem to be preparing myself for a tragedy.
Separate from that the book was written very well. I love following The Baxter family even in small ways as she continues the story of their family and friends. The book was an easy read that I read in a day because though there are tough subjects dealt with it’s written in a way that isn’t too heavy but you just want to keep reading. Though as I mentioned above there were lots of conflict plots I did enjoy the story and anything that has a 9/11 storyline in it always tugs at my heart.
I will continue to read her books just with caution and always a box of Kleenex nearby!
ThAAnk you NetGalley got the advance copy!

This is one of my very few DNF's of the year, I have read 330 other books before this thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. I do not mind religious books, in fact I am a huge fan of the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. Those books were great! I had read other books by this author and have enjoyed them even though they follow the same predictable storyline and issues. I could not take it with this one. Every page was beyond preachy about being a Christian and leading a Christian life. It was just too much and off-putting AF.

I will not be recommending this but may someone more religious or a strict Christian will enjoy this more. IT'S A HELL NO FOR ME!

I felt 1 star was more than generous.

Ever since I started reading Karen Kingsbury books back in 2014 they became my favorite books to read, however they are becoming very predictable. I’m glad I read this book because the story line did intrigue me and it had some really good moments and points, but it still felt very predictable.

I graciously received an advance e-copy from Netgalley for review. All opinions are my own.
